Guest UserThis is my second time staying at the Conrad Hotel in Shenyang. The first time, my whole family traveled together and we had a great overall experience, so I chose Conrad again.
After checking in at the front desk, I arrived at the room and found that the refrigerator was under maintenance. I called the front desk, and they immediately upgraded my room and had someone personally escort me to the new room.
This time, I realized that the Conrad's location is truly convenient for getting anywhere. I walked to Xita and it's also very close to Shenyang Station, only 4 subway stops including a transfer, which is very convenient.
The view from the 88th-floor front desk is absolutely stunning at sunset. The rooms are all on high floors, so the views are great, perfect for sitting and enjoying the scenery even on a rainy day.

hidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

Guest UserTo my friends visiting Shenyang, listen to me: just stay at this hotel, you won't regret it. The front desk service is excellent; they patiently help you with any issues. The laundry and gym on the second floor are free. If you're coming with kids, they even provide children's toothbrushes and slippers. There's a 24-hour convenience store right next door, so if you get hungry at night, it's just a few steps away. Upon check-in, they give you a little card with a comprehensive list of delicious food and fun places. Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces. The room is spotlessly clean, making for a comfortable stay. The value for money is truly high. Plus, there's a slide and Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) on the second floor; wearing the Hanfu was a lot of fun. I'll definitely book here again next time.

First, the pros: The location is excellent, right in Donggang, next to Venice. You can walk to several popular spots nearby, feed seagulls, and it's very convenient to call a taxi. The concierge staff at the entrance were all fantastic, helping with car doors, closing them, and handling luggage. The front desk staff who checked me in also gave a detailed heads-up about the hot water usage. They even sent a birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture, but unfortunately, I came back too late that night and couldn't eat it. Room service for deliveries was also available.
Now, for the cons: It's definitely not a traditional five-star hotel as there's no pool or bathtub. And honestly, the water heater really needs an upgrade. When four people took turns showering in the evening, we had to wait at least an hour or more between each person.

KabumatianniThe location is great, making it convenient to get anywhere by taxi. Although the subway entrance is nearby, it doesn't have an elevator or escalator, so you have to climb stairs – something to keep in mind if you're traveling with elderly family members.
I originally booked a Huazhu or Atour hotel nearby, but my family prefers to eat breakfast at the hotel, so I switched to the InterContinental. It's definitely an older hotel, and you can still see its former grandeur.
The doorman was excellent; he always helped open doors and handle luggage when our car arrived. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and kept helping us change rooms to meet my family's preferences. The only minor inconvenience was the additional security deposit required upon check-in.
The room itself was very clean, but it lacked modern amenities like smart devices or a smart toilet. The TV was small and not high-definition, and the curtains looked quite old. On the positive side, the shower pressure was great and the water was hot. Having a bathtub in the room was a nice touch, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The windows couldn't be opened directly; you had to call a staff member, but once open, you had a view of Friendship Square.
The hotel breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of options. Many dishes were beautifully presented, like my favorite Eggs Benedict and the sea cucumber and rice dish.
There are many great small restaurants nearby, and you can discover quite a few good ones just by walking around the area.

Guest UserWhat a surprise, I booked it for one day at first, fearing it would be uncomfortable. I didn't expect the boss and the front desk service to be so good. So I booked another day. The air conditioner in the middle room was broken, so the boss took the initiative to change the room. The cleaning lady was as warm and welcoming as a family member. She took such good care of our family that we felt embarrassed. The hotel is not far from anywhere and has its own parking lot. I had a great time staying in Shenyang this time. Thank you to all the hotel staff and thank you for your service.

Anonymous UserThe hotel boasts numerous public lounge areas, all designed with a comfortable and minimalist aesthetic. After a dip in the hot springs, my skin and hair felt incredibly soft and smooth! Even though it was busy during the summer, the hotel is large enough to accommodate guests comfortably, so it never felt overcrowded. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with fresh ingredients and a good variety of options. However, I was a bit disappointed that only free hot water was provided in the hot spring area, and no free drinking water. I think that's something they could improve upon!

Guest UserReturned to Le Méridien Shenyang, Heping, and once again, it was a truly comfortable and generous experience. The service was incredibly accommodating and efficient; they upgraded my room after a quick chat. The welcome fruit was delicious, and all the welcome amenities were perfectly arranged. Both the breakfast and the executive lounge standards were above average. The 23rd-floor lounge, in particular, was quiet with a comfortable view, and the afternoon tea and evening happy hour offered convenient food and drinks. It was a really pleasant spot to relax during my travels or business downtime. The room itself was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is also convenient for getting around and shopping. All my membership benefits were genuinely provided without any shortcuts or compromises, showing real sincerity towards high-tier members. This will definitely be my top choice when visiting Shenyang again; I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

Guest UserThe room is spacious and well-designed. The ground-floor room comes with a lovely private courtyard where you can sit or lie down, facing the sea which is just 100 meters away – truly a perfect 'staring-at-the-sea' room. You can even walk directly from your courtyard in your bikini to go beachcombing or swimming. There are plenty of complimentary snacks in the room. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.
