My overall stay at Shangri-La Hotel Dalian was excellent. I was very satisfied with the room I was assigned; it was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was neatly arranged, making for a very comfortable stay and a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is also fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere by taxi, and Zhongshan Square is within walking distance for photos. Public transportation is very convenient as well. The hotel offers a well-equipped gym and swimming pool, along with a beautiful garden perfect for a stroll and pictures. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Delancy was particularly thoughtful, asking about my stay during check-out and giving me a small gift, which I loved. The check-out process was very quick, saving me a lot of time. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

This hotel on Shenyang's Middle Street has excellent facilities and amenities. Its location is superb, right on Middle Street, making everything incredibly convenient. There's free parking available directly accessing the upper floors, which is very handy. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. The front desk is staffed 20 hours a day. Bottled water is complimentary and unlimited. Invoices are electronic and can be processed via mobile phone at the front desk. Check-in and check-out were very professional, quick, and efficient. The location is truly fantastic, with a prominent entrance. On the 9th or 26th floor (the original text says 9:26, likely a typo for '9楼和26楼' or '9楼/26楼'), there's an observation deck where you can enjoy the night view of Middle Street, complete with telescopes – a really nice touch. Highly recommended, very satisfied, truly excellent, I will definitely come back!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the concierge immediately came over to help with our luggage. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They even thoughtfully gave us tips for exploring the area and upgraded us to a higher floor room for free! The room was spotlessly clean with no strange smells, and the bedding was fluffy and soft. All the bathroom facilities were brand new. The public areas were also consistently maintained by staff, making the whole place feel very pleasant to walk around. During our stay, any request to the front desk was met with a super quick response. There were absolutely no unpleasant surprises, and the value for money was outstanding. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this area, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning a trip here.

The stay was enjoyable. Although the hotel is somewhat dated, it is clean and well maintained, with good service throughout. It is one of the few in the area that offers a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated being upgraded to a higher floor upon request.
Breakfast includes both Chinese and Western options, but it is fairly ordinary in quality.
The location is convenient—about 300 metres from Anton Old Street and next to Wanda Plaza. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
We definitely stay again.

The hotel's location is directly across from the Broken Bridge, and the panoramic rooms offer unbeatable views of the Broken Bridge scenic area and the Yalu River right outside the window. It's just a few minutes' walk to stroll along the riverside.
The hotel was built a while ago, so the facilities are a bit dated, but the location is absolutely fantastic.
Overall, the service was good. The room came with binoculars, and Xiao Gao at the front desk was meticulous and thoughtful.

This was my first time in Shenyang, and for an important anniversary, I chose the Conrad as our base for a three-day, two-night stay. Here’s an objective review based on my actual experience:
**Location:**
The hotel is very close to both Beizhan (North Station) and Shenyang Station, about a ten-minute taxi ride. If you take the subway, it’s just one transfer, and you can reach Exit A of Renmin Square Station on Line 2 (which is the entrance to MixC Hang Lung Plaza) in about 30 minutes. From the first floor of Hang Lung Plaza, there's a glass automatic door that connects directly to the hotel's first floor. Regarding Hang Lung Plaza, I won't comment on the shopping as I didn't explore it much. However, it’s very convenient to take the escalator down to the basement for a meal, grab some snacks at the supermarket/convenience store, play Taiko or Maimai at the arcade on the basement level, or sing karaoke at Mei KTV on the third floor accessible by a scenic elevator. This definitely adds to the convenience of staying at the Conrad.
**Service:**
* **Pre-Stay Service:** I didn't receive any pre-arrival calls or contact, which is usually standard for five-star hotels. It made me think, 'Hmm?' a little, but it wasn't a major issue. During check-in, the front desk informed me that our room was still being prepared but offered a complimentary upgrade to a smoking room so we wouldn't have to wait. I accepted the kind offer and was relieved that the smoke smell in the room wasn't very noticeable.
* **During-Stay Service:** On the first night, I wanted to take a bath, but the bathtub took nearly two hours to fill, only reaching the depth shown in the photo. After half an hour, I thought it was just because the tub was large and filling slowly, but when it was still the same after more than an hour, I suspected the drain wasn't sealing properly. However, it was quite late, and I didn't want to bother the hotel staff with repairs at that hour, especially since we’d already received an upgrade. It felt like that 'don't ask for a bicycle when you've been given a watch' kind of awkwardness. So, the next morning, I called housekeeping to ask if someone could check it while we were out in the afternoon. When we returned the next evening, the first thing I did was fill the tub, and seeing the water successfully rise made me so happy! I could finally take a bath! I'm grateful to the staff for solving the problem on time. Later that night, we went to the executive lounge on the 83rd floor for the evening light meal. The food was excellent, and they were proactive in asking about our needs. Special thanks to Cloris, Luna, and Rachel for their warm service.
**Facilities:**
As mentioned above, the room was generally in good condition. There were a few areas that showed some wear or minor human-made stains, but nothing major. Honestly, you don't really use or even touch every single part of a suite; it's always just a few key areas. The bathtub issue might have been a 'historical problem' left by a previous guest, but at least I got it resolved. This does, however, suggest that there's room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and even upgrades.
**Dining:**
The executive lounge's food has already been mentioned, so I won't repeat it. For breakfast, I went at 8 AM and 9 AM on the two different days. As expected, it was less crowded earlier. You swipe your room card, then an attendant guides you to an empty table and asks if you'd like coffee or tea. Overall, breakfast was quite good, offering most of the varieties you'd expect from a typical five-star hotel.
**Final Thoughts:**
One minor point of annoyance was the hotel's elevators. Many guests have mentioned the hassle of having to transfer elevators on the 88th floor to get from the hotel entrance to their room. Personally, I think the waiting time for the elevators is more frustrating than the transfer itself. From the 88th-floor lobby to the rooms on lower floors, there are four elevators. Without judging whether that's too many or too few, objectively speaking, every time I waited for an elevator from my room floor to the 88th floor, or from the 88th to my room, it always took over a minute. There was never a time when an elevator arrived within thirty or forty-five seconds of pressing the button. And often, when the elevator did arrive, it was empty. Perhaps it was because I stayed on a weekend and the hotel had an event?
The above only represents my personal experience during this stay.

This time, I was traveling with my parents and my child. Since my little one wasn't feeling well, I really needed a great hotel, and this one truly didn't disappoint. The room had two queen beds plus a sofa bed, perfect for our family of five. We couldn't get enough of the beautiful night view outside the window. Everyone in the family praised my choice. My dad stood there, cup of tea in hand, for quite a while, saying, 'Looking at these lights just brightens my mood.' My child was glued to the window, gazing into the distance, and asked if it was a lighthouse. The hotel is only three or four minutes from the bus station, which was great since my parents walk a bit slower – no worries about rushing for our bus. In the mornings, I'd take my child for a stroll in the small park downstairs, and then we'd come back just in time for breakfast. They had hot congee and mini steamed buns, which my parents loved, and my child enjoyed the special kids' area with small cakes and yogurt. When it was time to check out, the front desk staff saw we had a lot of luggage and proactively helped us carry it. Of all the places we've stayed on this trip, this hotel was truly a hit with the whole family.

Five-star stay, absolutely! The hotel's facilities are remarkably new, with the elevators, bathrooms, and soft furnishings all impeccably maintained. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent. Toiletries were plentiful and of good quality. The cleanliness truly exceeded my expectations; there was no strange odor upon entering, the floors and tabletops were spotless, and the bathroom was dry with no puddles, thanks to the wet/dry separation. The sheets and duvet covers were perfectly flat and clean, with no dust even in the corners and crevices. Public areas were tidy and bright, and all the recreational facilities were well-kept. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. It offers great value for money, perfect for both travel and relaxation. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

This is our second time staying in a children's themed room this year, and we chose the Little Yellow Duck theme room at Hilton Shenyang. We were very pleased with the room's decor. Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities are still quite new overall. The staff's service was enthusiastic, living up to Hilton's quality standards. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of K11. My suggestions would be to upgrade the TV and add a phone holder next to the bathtub. It would also be great if the breakfast selection could be more diverse, as it currently feels quite similar to a Hampton Inn.

JJoshuaLThe (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions.
On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience.
Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion.
Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out.
So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

MMomodou89While the facilities are decent, the soft services are severely lacking, and the room service response time is frustratingly slow.
My recent stay at the Cosco Intercontinental Hotel was incredibly disappointing and definitely didn't live up to the pricing or reputation of an international five-star brand. The most unbearable part was when my child had a fever, and I called guest services to ask for a thermometer. They told me they didn't have one and instructed me to call the front desk. The front desk then replied, 'Guest services will send one up to you shortly.' So, do they have one or not? Of course, I returned it to the front desk the next day and immediately went to a pharmacy to buy my own. When a guest requests assistance, especially with a child suddenly falling ill, shouldn't there be a clear response protocol? Zero points for that. On a positive note, Mr. Eric Sun Yong, who works at the entrance, was very enthusiastic and helped guests with their luggage. Also, the lounge staff brought rice for my child two days in a row, which showed an effort to make guests' stay enjoyable.

GGuest UserWhat a surprise, I booked it for one day at first, fearing it would be uncomfortable. I didn't expect the boss and the front desk service to be so good. So I booked another day. The air conditioner in the middle room was broken, so the boss took the initiative to change the room. The cleaning lady was as warm and welcoming as a family member. She took such good care of our family that we felt embarrassed. The hotel is not far from anywhere and has its own parking lot. I had a great time staying in Shenyang this time. Thank you to all the hotel staff and thank you for your service.
GGuest UserFirst, let's talk about transportation.
You can take a taxi or drive there. It's about a 40-minute taxi ride from the city center. If you drive, hotel guests get free parking, which you can arrange at the front desk.
Next, the environment.
The environment is lovely. The entire resort is well laid out, with lush greenery, and I even saw many white doves. From the main lobby, if you're heading to the Breeze Restaurant (where the breakfast buffet is served), there's a complimentary shuttle cart available (takes about 3-5 minutes). Of course, taking a stroll through the villa area is also a great option.
Now, about the service.
The service was excellent. The taxi drop-off point is at the main entrance of the hot spring area, and you'll need to walk (about 3 minutes) to the main lobby to check in. The check-in process was very fast; I checked in around 2 PM and could go straight to my room. Upon check-in, you're assigned a butler who will add you on WeChat and send useful information about the resort, such as Wi-Fi details, hot spring hours, and breakfast buffet times. The butler also helps escort you to your room and carries your luggage, and even gave me a voucher for a fish spa treatment at the hot springs (one voucher is good for two people, usually costing 30 per person).
Finally, some other points.
1. The hotel has two accommodation areas. One is on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The advantage here is that it's very close to the hot springs, and you don't need to go outside. If your window faces the villa area, you get a panoramic view of the villas, with great greenery and views, and the price is more affordable. The other area is the villa section, which is closer to the breakfast buffet and offers rooms with private hot spring pools.
2. The breakfast buffet at Breeze Restaurant is from 7 AM to 10:30 AM (no food replenished after 10 AM). The breakfast selection is very rich, with a variety of Chinese, Cantonese, and Western options, and the taste is also good.
3. Guests staying at the hotel receive two hot spring tickets per room, for two separate visits. The first visit can be used on the day of check-in until 12 AM. The second visit is if you check out before 10 AM the next day, you can use the tickets until 6 PM. The tickets are linked to the ID cards used for check-in, so anyone planning to go to the hot springs needs to register their ID at check-in. A 500 deposit is required at check-in. Any consumption in the hot spring area can be charged to this deposit, or paid separately. The deposit refund upon checkout was very quick.
4. I booked a room on the 5th floor of the hot spring building. The room provides plastic slippers for the hot spring (anti-slip); there are no other disposable slippers. The wet and dry areas are separate, and disposable toilet seat covers and toiletries are provided. Although it's in the hot spring building, I didn't find it noisy at all.
GGuest UserI arrived at approximately 2:00 PM, and although my room was not yet cleaned due to the holiday period, I understood the situation. I checked into Room 232, the 270-degree sea view room, which was the highest available category at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected our stay. The condition of the room facilities was disappointing. In the first bathroom, the flush button was loose and partially detached, and there were visible cracks on the wall. In the second bathroom inside the sea-view bedroom, the door stopper was detached and the drainage system did not function properly.
Additionally, the glass panel near the wardrobe had a long crack, which made us uncomfortable using the area as we were concerned about causing further damage. Most importantly, the refrigerator was not functioning. Although a technician came on the first day and informed us that there was no power supply, no proper resolution was provided. On the second day, another technician was arranged, but we had to wait for a long time, which disrupted our travel plans. Eventually, we were informed that the refrigerator could not be used temporarily. As my family stayed for three nights, this meant we were unable to use the refrigerator for the entire stay and had to leave items with the reception, which was very inconvenient and did not reflect the value of the room.
Regarding cleanliness, the first day was satisfactory. However, on the second day, the housekeeping service appeared rushed. There were hair strands left in the room, and the bed was not properly made — the bed cover was simply pulled over without proper arrangement, and the bedding looked untidy and wrinkled. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness standards.
Furthermore, the booking was made for three guests, yet only two glasses were provided in the room. There was no tea available, only bottled water. Communication via WeChat was also quite slow when requesting assistance.
On a positive note, the room view was beautiful, the location is excellent, and the staff who assisted us before check-in were helpful. The room design and view are truly impressive. However, after check-in, the overall experience did not meet expectations. Additionally, the mirrors in the room had noticeable stains.
I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration for service improvement. Thank you for your attention.

GGuest UserTraveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children.
On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved.
The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

The hotel's sky garden is exquisite and elegant, serving as a perfect observation deck with unobstructed views of the entire Xinghai Bay. The cross-sea bridge, alongside the vast blue sky and ocean, creates a breathtaking panorama. This fairytale castle hotel exceeded expectations with its elegant and clean environment, and well-equipped, comfortable rooms.
