This resort was beautiful and had lots to do. Children are allowed, there’s a kids area and even a teen hang out. There are multiple pools and a beach. There are about 5 specialty restaurants that open at night, but require reservations—I ate at Fogo and it was delicious. During the day, there’s a buffet snack bar, coffee shop, and icecream bar available, plus a sports bar that’s open 24/7. In the evenings, the lobby has entertainment, including shows and a DJ.
Theres a trolly that comes every few minutes to take you around the resort if you don’t want to walk. One of my favorite parts was the beautiful wildlife roaming the resort and the amazing service staff—most were very friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t consider this a party resort; it’s more geared toward families and low-key fun. Definitely check out the beach bar—John and Gerson are fantastic bartenders, very friendly and entertaining. There’s also a snack buffet there that overlooks the beach, so you can enjoy a nice breeze while you eat.
I traveled Solo. My only downside was the rooms. They each had a balcony, and really could have been great, but cleanliness could be greatly improved. I had to change rooms twice—first due to the AC not working, then because the balcony door wouldn’t lock. All 3 rooms weren’t very clean mainly the bathrooms. Im not a picky person so By the third room I had both locked doors and ac, so I just went with it lol. On the positive side, they did upgrade me to a larger room, which I appreciated. I did feel like some of the front desk staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Neither of those issues were my fault and it seem like a bother or hassle for them to swap my room.
Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, beautiful place to unwind with family or enjoy a laid-back vacation.
+Pleasant stay. Helpful stuff.
+The staying in the hotel gives access to the Beach branch with the breakfast with a seaview.
- Please fix the toilet flush
We were hosted at the hotel Bakour and our experience was absolutely exceptional. Since we arrived, the staff made us feel like at home. The attention was of high quality, familiar and extremely careful. They were always ready to help us with whatever we needed.
The reception was particularly highly high thanks to Kimberly's friendlyness and efficiency, who greeted us every day and kept us informed about the activities of the hotel. Your personalized attention and your willingness to help us at any time were essential for our stay.
But what really loved us was the staff's attitude in general. From Manuel, the tours seller who became a friend and made us several gifts without commit, even the bar and buffet boys, such as Jazmín and Joan, who were always attentive and kind. Even Junior, who worked at night, was extremely social and made us feel part of the family.
We were very happy to have a nice and comfortable room, and we were very happy to have a nice room.
The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.
In short, the hotel is worth the 5-stars with a great deal of cressing, staff is very careful and carefully concerned about the guests' experience. If you are looking for a place where you feel like at home and be treated as part of the family, this is the perfect hotel for you.
Grand Bávaro Princess – All Inclusive was a great experience.
The best part, without a doubt, is the beach: wide, soft sand, turquoise water, and a truly beautiful view. Perfect for relaxing, long walks, and spending the whole day by the ocean. The location is excellent and the resort feels comfortable to move around.
Overall, the service was very good: friendly staff, quick to help, and always with a good attitude. The facilities are well maintained, with several dining options and plenty of areas to relax. The food was better than expected, especially at the à la carte restaurants—well presented dishes and great taste.
Ideal for solo vacationing, couples or families looking for a large all-inclusive resort with an amazing beach and a calm atmosphere. I would definitely come back.
I booked two rooms; please refer to my other review with six photos for details. Since there were three of us, we opted for two rooms with three beds. The hotel has two tour agencies offering activities, so be sure to bargain for the best deals. Also, the fruit-flavored cigars sold in their shop are quite good; I particularly enjoyed the cherry and orange flavors.
This is a great family run hostel. It is a short walk to beautiful Macao beach. It was great to have free water and bananas, crackers and coffee in the morning.
Food and drinks were subpar but I guess one should not expect much for an inclusive resort. The room had a broken safe and phone which took 2 days to replace because they kept telling me to call back. Location was nice and is family friendly.

The staff at reception was really nice and friendly. The Italian lady spoke Portuguese and was really nice explaining us about the hotel and the breakfast. The room was really big with lots of space and a nice balcony. There’s a lot of swimming pools all very nice and all for ourselves when we were there. We walked to the village for dinner but got a taxi back to the hotel as the path is not good to walk at night and it takes around 20 minutes. I really liked to stay at this hotel!
The didn't notice at your platform that electricity should be paid separately. Also, they were asking about leaving a ID ( original one, not photocopy ) at the reception all stay as deposit... quite strange for us , cause is a personal belonging, and everyone must carry his personal document with him( obviously we denied to do this, in our country that's not legal) Anyways the spot was amazing , and wonderful experience
AAnonymous User+ nice hotel, good location, comfortable beds;
+ helpful and respectfull stuff;
- wifi conections is weak in the room;
- no safe in the room;
- the cost seems a little high.
Suggestion: improve check-in speed
Overall a good stay
The hotel's main advantage at this time is the seaweed-free sea, so be prepared for it to be crowded. The sun loungers by the sea are tightly packed in about 10 rows, but you have to reserve a spot in the shade by 8 p.m. The green area is quite large, including a family area where you can stroll. There are many different restaurants, which require reservations, and unfortunately, the food is poor. We only liked the Italian. The breakfast buffet in the adults' area is excellent and varied. There are many fun activities throughout the day to suit every taste. The gym is modest. We didn't leave the hotel. The large glass bottles of water in the room are inconvenient. On the beach, water is only available in glasses. Overall, a solid four.
GGuest UserThe menu of the a la carte restaurants is somewhat limited. The room service food does not arrive hot and last but not least, the most popular drinks run out and are not replaced at once. For the rest, a very good beach, a good atmosphere and impeccable facilities.
Very helpful staff
