We had a great 3 days 2 nights stay at Sunway Lost World Hotel đ¤ The room was super spacious and felt quite new, which made the stay really comfortable. The hallway is a bit older, but it didnât affect our overall experience.
Loved the small details in the room too, the plugs come with USB charging ports.
Hospitality from all the staff was excellent, everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also got free 2-night night park and hot spring tickets, plus 35% off day park tickets, which was such a good deal.
Breakfast was so-so, but okay lah. Nothing fancy, but still decent enough to start the day.
Honestly, at least 2 days are needed to properly enjoy everything because one day can be quite tiring. We also highly recommend adding the RM25 Malayan Express Lane. It really helps save time and lets you enjoy more rides (both water and dry attractions).
Overall, a very enjoyable and value-for-money stay. Would definitely recommend đ
If youâre looking for a stay that blends comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury right in the heart of Ipoh, this hotel is definitely one to consider.
Positioned in one of the cityâs most strategic locations, it offers a premium experience by Ipoh standardsâwell-appointed rooms, quality dining options, and service that makes your stay feel effortlessly smooth. What truly sets it apart is its direct connection to one of Ipohâs largest shopping malls, giving you instant access to retail, food, and entertainment without even stepping outdoors.
Even better, youâre right in the middle of town. From here, many of Ipohâs iconic attractions, local eateries, and charming old-town streets are just a short walk away. Whether youâre in town for food hunting, cafĂŠ hopping, or a relaxed getaway, this spot puts everything within easy reach.
A perfect base to explore Ipohâwhere comfort meets convenience, and the city is right at your doorstep.
The place is clean and well managed. Self check in Malaysia is a surprise but works well. Each co living units has a few rooms but the main common room is well equipped with living space facilities. Location is also nice since it's close to the old town and everything is within walking distance. The parking space has tight entrance but could easily be managed by a seasoned driver. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and cheap place to stay
I enjoyed my stay overall, especially the cleanliness of the hotel and the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and all the necessary amenities were well provided for guests.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the room interior as it did not reflect the Balinese vibe I was expecting. The design and overall atmosphere felt lacking, including the absence of the signature Bali-style aroma or fragrance that usually enhances the experience.
Additionally, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which was a downside for me. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but there is room for improvement in terms of ambiance and facilities.
Awesome hotel, felt welcoming while stepping in, smiling staff everywhere including housekeeping and restaurant server, Appreciate to Ms Jojo at the front desk who given us wonderful connecting room due to my handicap mom, Overall cleanliness is great, Thanks to the housekeeper Rahim who take care of room 515&516, My family enjoyed the stay so much especially my kid, love the pool and games room .The only downside was the pool entrance which is wet and slippery which needs more attention. One of a unforgettable hotel so far at Ipoh with beautiful scenery and people, Thanks AC Marriot, Hope to see you guys again âşď¸
The hotel's exterior is new and fresh, and the room is bright and comfortable with a modern, 'cyber' design. The toilet in the bathroom is state-of-the-art, and the in-room electronic system is very convenient to use. The lobby staff were all smiles, attentive, and friendly. The hotel is located near the city center, less than a ten-minute drive away, which is very convenient. For Ipoh, Malaysia, this hotel is definitely a five-star experience. Highly recommended!
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and both the hotel environment and room were generally clean. However, the mattress was too softâmovement from my partner could easily be felt, which affected my sleep. The TV remote was also difficult to use, and the internet connection was poor, causing constant buffering when trying to watch shows.
The staffs were friendly. Available early check-in with RM20/ hours (which I donât mind, as long as you can get a room & rest). The room is very comfortable and clean. Quite small for 2 people, but ok la. Bathroom and water pressure are all good, smells great too. If u driving , parking is limited, parking outside of the building & not so safe (possibly for hit & run case). Overall, recommend to stay here.
I recently stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort to celebrate a special anniversary, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
Upon arriving at 3:00 PM, I had to wait in a very long queue for check-in and only received my room key at approximately 3:40 PM. After entering the room, I noticed that the anniversary decorations I had requested were in place, but the cake, chocolates, and fruit platter that I had paid for were not provided. As this was intended to be a surprise for my husband, it was quite disappointing.
What was even more frustrating was that no one informed me that these items were not yet ready. I had to call and follow up myself to check on their status. The cake and other items only arrived more than an hour later, which significantly reduced the excitement and impact of the surprise.
I was also surprised to find that the minibar fridge was completely empty, with no canned drinks or refreshments available. Considering the room rate was approximately RM1,200 per night, I expected more than just complimentary bottled water.
The room was advertised as having a king-size bed, but it felt smaller than expected. In addition, the dinner buffet pricing for children was quite expensive at RM50 per child. My children are 8 and 10 years old and, like most children their age, they eat only small portions and usually only one or two dishes. The breakfast charges for children were also relatively high, making the overall dining cost difficult to justify for young children.
To make matters worse, the cashier accidentally charged my children's dinner twice. Although the duplicate charge was voided, I was informed that the refund process could take between 7 and 14 weeks. This seems like an excessively long waiting period for a billing error made by the hotel.
Overall, this stay was disappointing and frustrating. I had expected a smooth and memorable experience for such a special occasion, but several service shortcomings negatively affected our celebration. I hope the management will review these issues and make improvements to enhance the guest experience in the future.
The Onsen is right by the theme park making access very easy. The two bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and with a balcony overlooking the park, as seen in the picture is. I recommend especially if coming to the park

YYauheniya SatsurađĄ Modest but Convenient Hotel Near the Beach
We stayed at this hotel in Pangkor, and overall, our experience was positive.
- đ **Location:** It's super close to the beach and the main street with cafes and shops â you really couldn't ask for a better spot.
- đ **Accommodation Style:** The hotel is made up of small bungalows, each with its own entrance. Most have a little terrace with a table. It's all very simple, but clean and pleasant.
- đď¸ **Amenities:** The bedding was clean, there was always hot water, and the air conditioners were powerful. The towels, however, are quite worn out and could use replacing.
- đ **Pool:** There is a pool, but it looked a bit gloomy, so we didn't use it.
- đĽ **Staff:** The owners are polite and friendly. No deposit is required. There's a front desk, but it's not open 24/7, which is something to keep in mind if you're checking in late.
đ **Bottom Line:** A simple yet tidy hotel with an excellent location. It's suitable for those looking for affordable accommodation by the sea without extravagant expectations. We were happy with our stay.

GGuest UserGreat service! The location is excellent and it's very clean. This time, I stayed with my grandfather, father, and uncle in their quadruple room. The space is quite large, and there's an additional small area with a sofa and such. Overall, it's pretty good and very suitable for elderly people and family-style living. (Attached a photo of the cafe downstairs, haha!)

YYoung KerThe hotel offers simple and clean accommodations, and although it is an older establishment, it is well-maintained. A cash deposit of RM50 is required, which may be inconvenient for guests who do not typically carry much cash. The presence of numerous dogs along the pavement outside can be intimidating. My room faced the road, resulting in some traffic noise. Aeon is conveniently located across the road, accessible by car, and several restaurants are situated on the same row as the hotel.
TTravel LostIâm from Ipoh and brought my Friends here for a short gateway . What a wonderful hotel to stay . Walking distance to famous restaurants and attractions. Easy to grab . Beside a restaurant got a nice restaurant to dine in especially the tou fu fa !!! Much nicer than the famous one . Another Japanese restaurant just beside the hotel . I will definitely recommended for all .
GGuest UserFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option. Â However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. Â The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the âfixâ was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. Â To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.Â
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. Â However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.Â
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the âmake my roomâ card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. Â They only cleaned 1. Â I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.Â
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.Â
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.Â
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Â Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).Â
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. Â It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.Â
All in all, it was a decent stay. Â Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.Â
MMaiyoThe hotel location is excellent, very convenient for business travellers. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities provided were good. Service was average, could be improved with faster response from staff. Overall, a comfortable stay and good value.
EElyana MazharOne of regular hotel for overnight whenever i want to visit my uncle at whois a patient in Pusat Rehabilitasi Neuro - Robotik & Cybernics Kebangsaan PERKESO đĽ°
RRozzana BoniarHad a pleasant stay at M Roof Hotel & Residence. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern design and good facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The location is convenient with many eateries nearby and easy parking available. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus. Breakfast could have more variety, but overall it was a good value stay and I would consider coming back again.
One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more clearly designated disabled parking spaces closer to the entrance to improve accessibility and convenience for guests with mobility needs.
