I was traveling with a group of friends for the Usher concert (amazing performer!) and the hotel was connected to the concert venue, which was perfect! I liked the boutique feel of the hotel, lots of natural light in the rooms. If you have any plans to venture into city center, you do have to Uber or walk to the metro, which was ~10 min walk from the hotel. I would stay here again, especially if I’m attending an event at the Ziggo Dome.

For the amount paid, this place is truly a steal! If you are on a budget but want to stay somewhere close to the centre, but also don't want to stay in a hostel, this is the perfect place for you! The hotel staff was very efficient and kind enough to also let us leave our luggage with them after checking out so we could explore the city without lugging around our belongings

A basic hotel that is clean, safe, and in good location. Friendly staff and close to tram. Easy to get to the airport and city centre. The only issue is that shower draining is not effective, and the bathroom floor gets very wet.

It’s real nearby the concert location ziggo dome, it’s convenient. They need to check the guest reservation properly as they send us to a wrong room than previously booked and need to transfer to another room.  in terms of cleanliness they need to improve! It’s like our room was not cleaned and smelly from the poor sewerage, dust everywhere and not clean bathroom! We asked for help but they just spray something.  Our room is 1320

Oh my, I loved staying at BUNK Hotel Amsterdam. I was first attracted by the good reviews of this young hostel/hotel hybrid, booked it far enough in advance for an early bird discount, and just a couple of days into my seven day stay, I realized I'd truly gotten a great deal. BUNK Amsterdam is fantastic! Ugh, where to start? I rented a pod, which is in a large room containing about 50 pods. Pods are preferable to bunk beds or other kinds of barrack-style hostels. There is privacy, there is enough space for you to get comfortable, change your clothes, the mattress is fine, the blanket and pillow are very cushy and cozy, the curtain is thick and heavy. The lighting situation inside the pod is unique, one of those switches with a lot of color and tone options, so you can really light the pod to your mood. I slept very well considering I was in a room with 30-50 other people at any given time. You also get a private locker beneath your pod that can fit a suitcase and a backpack with relative ease, unless you've overpacked. The bathroom is non-gendered, all the stalls are very clean and private. As a guy, it felt weird to use the bathroom while women were in it, so I blasted music in my earbuds to tune the world out while I did my business, ha. The showers are in a separate room and also very private. The water pressure is great and the showerheads are waterfall style. They have towels available at all hours. If you don't see any on the rack, just ask and there they shall be. The biggest surprise for me here was the restaurant. The restaurant attached to BUNK is basically a 4-star restaurant with 2-star prices. They have a full bar with well-priced drinks and very skilled, very handsome bartenders/baristas who can craft a wide arrays of cocktails. The chefs are also highly skilled, and the servers are attentive and kind. The menu is diverse, ranging from avocado toast to an interesting Indonesia beef stew-like dish that I can only describe as mind-blowingly delicious. They also featured a ”taco” that was very tasty despite really not being a taco at all. My favorite breakfast (and perhaps favorite overall meal) was their Eggs Bennie with fresh smoked salmon. For dessert, on multiple occasions I ordered their popular Snickers dessert, which was peanut ice cream with caramel and shards of chocolate and brittle. I meant to do more foodie tourism during my week in Amsterdam, but the food was so good I wound up taking a good percentage of my meals in the BUNK restaurant. I snapped some pictures of the food I mentioned; it should go without saying that I am not a pro photographer. The front desk is manned (or womaned) 24/7, so anytime there was an issue or I had a question, someone was available. They are very attentive with regards to customer service. I should also note with their keycard system and network of entrances and hallways, I felt very safe. They care about security there and take proper, non-intrusive methods to make sure everyone is comfortable. I should also mention the facility is just beautiful. It's built within a very old church, there is a library, plants everywhere, a calming vibe throughout, and a quiet room for work or study. BUNK is located in the North section of Amsterdam (Noord). Noord is the quieter part of Amsterdam, suburb feeling as opposed to the city vibe elsewhere. It's extremely easy to get to the Central area from here though. There is a ferry about a 10 minute walk away that takes you to the central area, as well as a tram a five minute walk away that takes you directly to Centraal Station. I really hit a home run choosing this place, BUNK Amsterdam truly delivered the goods. Great building, great amenities, great staff, great restaurant, great location. I would recommend this to anyone traveling solo or as a couple/small group. Very small group. It's great to stay for a couple of days or a whole week. I loved my experience here and would stay again if/when I return to Amsterdam. Great place.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The large windows and the cozy bed made the room feel really comfortable. I upgraded to a larger room, which worked out perfectly and was definitely worth it. The hotel is located next to a nice area for walks, which added to the relaxing vibe. Just be aware that it’s not right in the city center — public transport makes everything easily accessible, but it’s still a bit of a distance. That’s clear from the map, though. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay here again.

It's a very nice room of 27m². There was a very friendly staff at the 8th floor reception, and a free cafe machine (coffee, hot chocolate, hot milk, hot water) snack cookies and honey sugar milk The best part was that apples, pears, bananas, and fruits were free The 8th floor reception had a sofa like a cafe and a window with a great view The staff tip was optional, but I couldn't help but give it because it was so good A fun trip with a child I was lucky and got a very nice room for the same price. I definitely want to come back again

This is my second time staying in Inntel. They are really in a good location. Here are my reviews according to the good and bad. Positive: 1. The location is perfect. Located at the Station Zaandam. Walkable distance. There are many shops nearby, like Albert Heijn etc. 2. The view from the hotel was very nice too. 3. Super friendly staff from the front desk. Negative: 1. Probably not hotel responsibility. But the escalator and elevator which access the hotel (outside the hotel) have not functioned for quite some time. As a tourist, mostly carried with heavy luggage, which caused inconvenience. 2. The design from the room and bathroom. There is a glass, so if someone goes to the toilet and turns on the light in the middle of the night. It was quite disturbing. If there was just a dim light it would be much appreciated. 3. The water power from the shower was quite weak. So kind of disappointed. But overall we still enjoyed a pleasant stay in Inntel this time.

Very good hotel for the money in Amsterdam. We booked a regular room for two people, room cleaning was every single day, new towels, furnished well, no big issues. Wish there was a bigger window to open for more airflow but even just one is OK. Heating is via a radiator you can set from 1-5 and that's it for heating, its very warm at 5 even during winter. Very good for the 45 euros paid, 25 per person is cheap for central europe

NNick.KirsopStayed here before and it was good. My only issue was this trip one of the times the showers hot water didn’t work, I’m sure this is rare though it’s why I took a face of the amenities. Location is quite far and often have to walk 30 minutes from a bus stop if you want to save money on taxi. Although I book it knowing far location because it is cheaper than staying in the center.

LLauraVReview of Our Stay at a Hotel in Amsterdam We recently stayed at a hotel in Amsterdam and had a mix of positive and negative experiences. First, let's start with the positives: What We Liked: The premises were quite nice. There's a bar downstairs, which is a great spot to unwind. Additionally, there are a few supermarkets and a traditional Dutch bakery right across the street, which made grabbing snacks and breakfast super convenient. The location is fantastic—just an 8-minute walk to the train station and a 4-minute walk to the bus and tram stops, making it easy to get around the city. The room was just as shown in the pictures. The mattress was comfortable, and there was ample space to organize our belongings during our stay. The receptionists were really kind and welcoming, which made our check-in and stay more pleasant. We also enjoyed the style of the hotel, especially the lovely lobby with two pianos, a comfortable sofa, and some books and local information to relax and read. What We Didn't Like: While we had read other reviews about noise issues and poor sound isolation, we thought we'd be okay with it, considering our home is located in a town center near nightclubs. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. The noise wasn't from people talking but from doors slamming. From 11 pm until 3 am, there was a constant door slamming that made the floor and walls in our room vibrate every two to three minutes. It felt like we were next to a staff room or had a very active neighbor. To be able to sleep, we had to watch a movie until the slamming finally stopped. This constant noise didn't allow us to rest properly, and we woke up later than we wanted the next day. The slamming continued on the following day, so we decided to stay out as late as possible to avoid it. Fortunately, around 2 am, the noise decreased, and we managed to sleep. Additionally, there was a funny smell in the corridors and the toilet. I found it unpleasant, but my husband wasn't bothered by it. If you are sensitive to smells, this might be something to consider. However, if you're not particularly sensitive, like my husband, it might not be an issue. Conclusion: Overall, while the hotel's location, amenities, and staff were great, the noise from door slamming and the smell in the corridors were significant drawbacks for us. If these issues could be addressed, it would make for a much more pleasant stay.

GGuest UserLocation: it's a great location because it's only a less than 10 minute walk from the Amsterdam Central station. It's so convenient. But the hostel entrance/reception is located inside a pub/restaurant. Personally I have no problem with this. I just find this interesting. There was also a security-looking guy standing at the entrance at night every day too, so it was pretty safe. Cleanliness: it was very clean. Every day someone took out the trash and cleaned the bathroom for us, which I didn't expect. They gave us a new, clean towel every day too. I really like these things about the hostel. Service: It depends on who you meet. The ladies that I talked to were all friendly and helpful. But there was a guy that was rather unhelpful and rude. I asked, ”Do you have data sim cards?” He said, ”No, we don't provide for that.” (Of course I knew the hostel didn't provide sim cards for free; I was asking if the hostel *sells* sim cards.) I asked, ”Do you know where I can get one? I can't get on the internet with the hostel wifi.” He said, ”There's no problem with the hostel wifi, otherwise a lot of people would be complaining about it.” (I wasn't complaining about the hostel wifi wasn't working; I was asking if he knew where I could get a sim card since I couldn't get on the internet to look for them.) Facilities: I like that there was a curtain on each bed. The bed and the room were also spacious enough. The windows were almost soundproof, isolating all the noises from the people drinking downstairs. The bathroom was also very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that there were brown stains on the blanket, which looked disgusting. There was also space for luggages (it's on the 2nd floor) if you don't want to store them in your room. There was, however, no kitchen or common areas. But the room was big enough and had a table. It was ok for me. One thing I really didn't like were the people who stayed in my room. All of them were obnoxious: wouldn't clean up after using the bathroom (hair everywhere), leaving their stuff in the bathroom/on the table so others couldn't use the space/table, kept coughing all night (meaning they were sick) and wouldn't open the windows for ventilation. I hardly had a good night's sleep because they kept coughing at night. But this wasn't the hostel's fault. It's those people's problems. All in all, I recommend staying at this hotel.

GGuest UserVery good experience with this hotel. We stayed here for our last 2 days in amsterdam, it was fabulous. The receptionist upgraded our room, the room is huge with all the necessary supplies, a bit of surprising that they do not provide toothbrush aset in the room, but you can easily request that from the reception. The breakfast selections are very rich, we enjoyed very much! Wide selections of drinks, cold food and hot food. Champaigne, coffee, tea, juice, milk, we tried everything and not one is disappointed! Many selections of bread, cheese and sauces. I'm hungry again by recalling Even provide honey comb! Not to mention, the cafe and restaurant staffs are all very friendly and happy. They offer free shuttle bus from/to Airport every 30minutes from 6am to midnight. You can take the free ride just by waiting at airport (hotel buses station) or the hotel lobby. I personally found this information on social media but not on the official sites, it would be better if they could include the instructions in the bookings or website. Also, the waiting time is not specific and constant, it would be better if you would do something about it. Oh! The shower gel and shampoo provided are very good! Nice scent with good texture. I would love to buy a set if they sell. Just the down side that the front reception do need some training on service consistency. 1. We politely asked about the spinning wheel when we check in at night(10pm), the first older male receptionist instructed us to come back tomorrow daytime to join for free. In the morning, the daytime female receptionist said we are only allowed to join the contest when we check-in. That's really disappointing and we thought, why would they lie to us? Probably they are not familiar with the service providing. 2. We found a brochure in the room, ”opt out for cleaning service for 5€ voucher”. Asked the receptionist about this on the next day, she immediately said that offer is no longer available. My partner said, ”we cancelled the cleaning service yesterday for this, why do you still put the brochure in the room if it is not available anymore?”. Then only she apologized and gave us a voucher. Thanks to that, we enjoyed a good fries from the Sports Bar with the voucher.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, would recommend adding it to your reservation as food in Amsterdam is quite expensive. GGuest UserI had a mix feeling about this hostel. The location is superb, close to the centraal station although you need to take the ferry to cross the river (don't worry, it's free). Upon arrival, the room is really clean. Bed sheet and cover were provided, thus I needed to make my own bed. Apparently, the room was not cleaned every day. During my 5 days stay, they only cleaned it twice. Also, the soap container in the toilet was broken, so the soap kept falling to the floor, which made an unpleasant mess. Curtains were also broken, so we slept every night with a see-through window. I reported this issue to the receptionist, but nothing was done to fix it. There is no communal kitchen as well, so I could not boil hot water to make my own tea or instant noodles. Everything is charged here. If you want to check in early, you need to pay. If you want to book the lower bunk bed, you also need to pay. I think the positive point of this accommodation is just the location, everything else was meh.
