The room was clean; however, there was an unpleasant smell from the carpet. Early check-in was not facilitated, and my room was still not ready at 1:30 PM. Only one dental kit was provided initially; additional kits were given upon request.
The breakfast buffet was very good. Overall, it was an above-average experience and overpriced, though there is room for improvement in professionalism.
The size of the room is neither too big nor too small. It is just right. The bathroom is separated. There are many types of breakfast, especially desserts and cakes. There are also a lot of people. Overall, it is not bad.
Overpriced for the service provided.
Asked for airport service but they couldnt reply even if they were online on whatsapp.
Cleanliness was average. Dusty.

The front desk upgraded me to a deluxe single room for free, but there were guests staying in the hotel talking outside in the corridor all night, which was a bit noisy.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Avari Xpress in Lahore, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were absolutely wonderfully spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance.
What truly stood out were the amazing views of Lahore. From my room, I could gaze out over the vibrant cityscape, with breathtaking sights that captured the essence of Lahore’s charm, especially as the sun set.
The staff were courteous and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Avari Xpress to anyone visiting Lahore for a memorable and comfortable experience.
A top choice for exhibitions in Pakistan! A sense of security, authentic food, and Chinese friendliness are top-notch.
My experience choosing a hotel for this exhibition in Pakistan was truly thrilling. It wasn't until I settled into this hotel that I felt completely at ease. I sincerely recommend it to all Chinese friends visiting Pakistan!
First, let's talk about the crucial safety factor. Pakistan now has strict security requirements for Chinese people traveling abroad. My previous small hotel was immediately warned by the police. Not only was it ill-equipped to accommodate Chinese people, but the cleanliness was poor, and the service was perfunctory, forcing me to change hotels urgently. This hotel is completely different: it even has bulletproof vehicles. Even more remarkable is that the owner never uses ”security” for profit, but instead considers his guests' best interests. When I needed to travel to and from the exhibition, he didn't force me to pay for expensive services. Instead, he helped me coordinate security and recommend economical transportation options. He arranged a dedicated car and security personnel for daily transportation to and from the exhibition for only 1,500, which was incredibly cost-effective. On other days, when I wanted to go out, he proactively provided solutions to help me avoid being detained by the police. This kind of thoughtfulness is so important in today's Pakistan!
I'd also like to praise the basic experience: the comfort, professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail were impeccable. It was a truly delightful stay, a world apart from my previous small hotel. I especially recommend the restaurant on the fifth floor—it's a hidden gem! The breakfast menu is extensive, and lunch and dinner are à la carte. The local Pakistani cuisine is far more authentic than the fast food options at the nearby shopping mall. If you're craving local flavor without having to venture out, this is the perfect place to dine. Even better, they serve beer, making a relaxing drink after a busy day.
For Chinese travelers visiting Pakistan for business or exhibitions, choosing a hotel isn't just about comfort; it's also about peace of mind. This hotel not only addresses the crucial security issue, but also impresses with its authentic cuisine and attentive service. I'll definitely choose it again on my next trip to Pakistan!
Having read that the Pearl Continental was a 5 Star hotel, made me look forward to staying there.
Upon arrival, the staff at the reception desk were very courteous and professional. Check-in was slow due to some alleged computer issue.
The rooms were nothing special and looked very tired and in need of renovation. Especially the bathroom, which was on par with a 1 Star establishment.
Breakfast was acceptable and service reasonable. Definitely not to 5 Star standards.
Again the reception desk staff professional and courteous upon checking out. The icing on the cake for me was when we checked out, I asked where would be the best place to get a taxi. They said they have a desk near the entrance and the staff there can arrange transport for us.
So we approached the desk and told them where we wished to go. After tapping on a calculator for 5 minutes the chap told us the fare would be 10,000 Rupees. 10,000 I exclaimed! This was more than double for what the journey should be. I was expecting it to be slightly more as it was being arranged by the staff of a so called “5 Star” hotel.
I shared my thoughts on the fare but the chap was not interested. I reluctantly accepted the fare, paid the 10,000 rupees in cash, whilst trying to convince myself that it’ll save me walking a few hundred meters down the road and haggling with the taxi walas in the midday heat.
So we were escorted to the vehicle by the chap from the desk. The vehicle wasn’t anything special, just a standard saloon, which had seen better days.
The chap from the desk, gesture for me to follow him back to the desk, whilst he asked my wife to make herself comfortable in the car, and the driver began putting our cases in the boot.
I followed him back towards the hotel entrance and asked what was going on? He casually replied that he had miscalculated the mileage and would require more money. To which I laughed and replied that the cost was already more than double. How could he be asking for more!
I shouted to the driver to take the cases out of the vehicle and asked my wife to not get too comfortable.
I then told the chap at the desk that I have never been dealt with in such an unprofessional insulting manner. I voiced that these type of extortion tactics are very unbecoming of a so called “5 Star” hotel. I demanded my 10,000 Rupees, which he grudgingly gave to me.
Suffice to stay, I will never be staying at the Pearl Continental in Rawalpindi ever again.
It’s most definitely NOT a 5 Star hotel in any shape, way or form.
With staff like the guy who tried to rip me off, not once but twice, in broad daylight, just highlights the festering desperation, greed and total disregard of any form of respect or decency that exists here. Absolutely no shame.
Anyway we walked 6 feet outside the hotel and got a taxi for 4,000 Rupees for the same journey.
Be careful, everything isn’t what it seems. Watch out for these smiling passions and daylight highwaymen.

Very good, reasonably priced. For 75 RMB, you can enjoy a wide variety of buffet dishes. It's really amazing! The Baoan guy is very responsible. It's a really good hotel. He is very honest. I later went to the Marriott in Islamabad and it was really not as good. It's not as good as this hotel!
Apart from the old hardware in the room, everything else is very good! The whole building is very local and historical! Dinner in the hotel restaurant in the evening with local singers performance appreciation, it is also a very good experience!

I waited more than 30 minutes for check-in even though they told me it would be ready at 3 PM. The apartment was still not prepared, and it felt like we were not treated as guests at all. At check-out, they asked us to stop and wait again because they needed to inspect the apartment before letting us leave. Because of this delay, I ended up missing my flight. The whole experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Very Good
Excellent 5 star hotel with exceptional staff. I had the pleasure of a young lady from guest relations help me with an internal flight ticket issue I had, and she also helped me book some business class coach tickets to Islamabad showing me considerable care. All the staff are kind and courteous and will do the upmost to help hotel guests. Rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Gym was large with good equipment for cardio weights., whilst the pool was perfectly temperature controlled. I genuinely was surprised and impressed with how good this hotel is and I would definitely go back in a heart beat.
Great Stay at Best Western Lahore Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-located. Staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were spacious with great amenities. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and quality. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay in Lahore!
The hotel has a great location, conveniently close to Lahore Airport, and the premises felt very secure with several security checks before reaching the lobby. I was warmly greeted by a hotel representative who picked me up and took me to the hotel. Both the buffet breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious food. The staff across all areas, including the reception and restaurant, were very respectful and helpful. I want to especially mention Muhammad Arslan, who stood out for his attentiveness and dedication to serving all guests with the utmost care. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. First, the prayer hall is located in an awkward and unclean area. I noticed a family struggling to find a suitable place to pray, and the staff was not even aware of the Qibla direction. They ended up praying in the executive room, which was not ideal. Secondly, the café and restaurant lacked alternatives like almond or soy milk, which is important for guests with allergies. Some in-room amenities, like the dental kit, were missing at check-in and appears the second day after the room makeup. The swimming pool ladder felt weak and was not deep enough, which could be a safety concern. Additionally, the iron in the room was dirty, broken, and leaking water, which made it difficult to use. Overall, I had a pleasant stay but hope these points will be addressed to enhance the guest experience further.
Superb experience with class hospitality - from lodging to food to other amenities everything was perfect - very secure and highly convenient check-in to check out journey - Mr sohail Ashraf the chief security officer has ensured hotel security management top notch as the kids were roaming freely in all amenities section without any worry or concern. Complete staff was welcoming and deserve appreciations.
Overall experience was good. I have been going to this hotel since I was a little boy in the 90s. The good: Quality service. Amazing breakfast buffet with local and continental options. Breathtaking view. Consistency across 3 decades. The bad: Facilities are very outdated and need a big upgrade. My 4 year old played on the same swings that I played at his age. Great for nostalgia and recreating old pics. However, shows how outdated things are. In fact, some were just broken. Table tennis and squash rooms that were freely available for guests years ago are closed and replaced with some 4D entertainment which wasn't functional. Not much for recreation for a resort-type hotel. Room TVs were not smart TVs.
The hotel's location was unbeatable, just a short walk from Emporium Mall and the Expo Center. My room was spacious, clean, and modern, with luxurious amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, with delicious local dishes and a variety of options to suit all tastes. Hotel Nova was the perfect choice.
