Picked here cause the location is awesome. Visiting again and everything was expected, only very minor issues like fighting for a car park, slight shower damage and co fusing layout. But it dint deter from a nice night sleep and free brekkie before heading out. The best part is still the location, you’re inside a national park!

We had a lovely stay at Balgownie Estate. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with a relaxing balcony that offered a beautiful view of the stars at night. It really added a special touch to the stay. The breakfast buffet was generally okay, a decent selection to start the day, though not particularly outstanding. Overall, it’s a peaceful retreat in a great location, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of the Yarra Valley.

It's quite a long walk from Southern Cross Station, and some of the paths are narrow, making it difficult to pull luggage. The front desk is on the second floor, and self-check-in is available. Since I arrived early and wanted to check in sooner, I paid an extra $25 per night to upgrade to a queen room with a desk. The deposit was $100. The room facilities were complete, though the shower head in the bathroom was fixed overhead and only allowed for direction adjustment. There were plenty of TV channels, including Phoenix TV for Chinese viewers. The staff on the ground floor were very friendly.

We had a pleasant stay at Apollo Bay Motel. The location was convenient and the overall experience was comfortable. - Cleanliness of the 2-rooms with comfortable bed and sharing one toilet. - Friendly staff and easy check-in with spacious carpark lot - Location near beach/shops/food & Ice-cream

Our room was on the second floor with a king-sized bed. The sofa bed needed to be made up by ourselves, and there was no duvet, only one blanket provided, with another blanket in the closet, which was generally sufficient. There was parking available in the yard. For the second-floor room, luggage had to be carried up an outdoor staircase. My friend stayed in a first-floor room with a queen-sized bed and a 0.9m bed. Their balcony opened directly onto the roadside, which felt a bit unsafe. A common characteristic of motels along the Great Ocean Road is the lack of curtains, with roller blinds used instead, which aren't great for blocking out light. Our room had an induction cooker and pots, but my friend's room didn't. At nearly 1500, it was also the most expensive accommodation on our Great Ocean Road trip.

I have 2 issues one is the check in and check out time 10 am check out is too early if check in is after 2pm . I wanted to purchase breakfast add on but was told not possible at food checkout even though they had terminal, had to go to reception to do , however reception said they could do at breakfast bar which I just came from !  Second at reception I informed them that my room would not be vacant rd until breakfast was consumed at 10.30 , no problems but upon returning to room it had been serviced at some of my belongings removed!! The place is relatively quiet. The room is very clean and tidy. Highly recommended for staying The parking space is also very spacious. There are also warm lights in the bathroom. You won't feel cold when taking a shower in the winter. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 1 night in Autum. It was a little pricey for my budget. The location was good, it was across the road from the beach but would need a car or bike to the main shopping area & restaurants on the esplanade. The 2-bedroom apartment was nice & spacious with a full kitchen, fridge, microwave & laundry facilities. Ensuite & main bathroom. Our room had a large balcony however our view was not great but didnt spoil the stay. The only issues where the couches are old & not very comfy. The resort facilities were nice with a large outdoor pool that was warm for a non-heated pool, outdoor large spa that was always busy. Spent most of the time in the heated indoor lap pool. There was a games room, tennis court, gym & bbq area. The staff were also obliging in letting us use the facilities before check in was ready. The only issue was Winkipops breakfast cafe, service was not professional, the food was average with lack of presentation, they ran out of some of the ingredients of the meal order & instead of consulting me they just added other ingredients that was not wanted & the price did not reflect the meal or service thus I would not recommend eating there. Overall, highly recommend the resort.

From the moment we entered we were greated by friendly helpful staff. Room was perfect lovely hot shower. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was beautiful. Nice and hot and very prompt with the delivery. I would happily stay again and l would certainly recommend to anyone. Nice and quiet. Bed and especially the pillow were excellent. Best night's sleep away from home for ages.

The hotel has a great location, with gas stations and restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped. However, definitely do not book a room that includes breakfast; the breakfast, which costs over 200 RMB, consists of instant cereal and soy milk.
