Overall, the stay was good. The staff were friendly and polite, which made the experience pleasant. However, the amenities provided were quite limited. As the hotel is still under renovation, mornings can sometimes be disturbed by construction noise.
The waiting area near the lift to the car park could use some improvement as the lighting is rather harsh and uncomfortable. Additionally, it would be much more convenient if complimentary parking were provided for hotel guests.

I was able to check in early, which was super convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, neat, and very comfortable — really satisfied with the stay! The location was also great, easy access to food and nearby places. Overall, definitely recommended!

I had a truly pleasant experience staying at the Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better.
Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable.
Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business.
The hotel looks very nice from the outside, and I must say the interior design of both the lobby and rooms is also quite okay. However, I feel the service could be improved.
I understand that the main restaurant is currently under renovation and a temporary dining area has been set up, but it seems there wasn’t enough planning to accommodate guest demand during this period. The temporary restaurant is too small to cater to the number of guests, and I personally experienced a situation where I had to wait around 10 minutes for a table, with no staff approaching or offering assistance.
Overall, the hotel itself is pleasant and well-designed, but I hope the management can focus more on improving service quality and having a proper contingency plan during renovations.
Love the hotel. It’s situated outside the central city, which is nice. Room was spacious, with bathtub and shower, toilet with bidet. Overall loved our stay. Breakfast was average though.
Loved everything about our stay!
It might be quite a distance from the city if you don’t drive a car, but if you do, it’s only less than a 10-min drive.
Service was definitely top-notch; from the main entrance to the front desk, including the staff at the Zest restaurant.
Breakfast spread was very good and tasty especially the fresh fruit juices!
Definitely recommended and will stay here again 😊

The hotel is located in the town area, just walking distance to the main bazaar, waterfront, and other tourist attractions. Very convenient. The pool and cardio room is located at the other wing, there is a bridge to walk over.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast & seafood buffet dinner and loved the convenient location close to major attractions.
Short stay at the family suite and king suite, arrived Sunday afternoon and left Monday afternoon, so limited activities.
Rooms were clean and tidy, the king suite overlooked the bigger pool and the Coconut Bar. Family suit had convenient access to ”kiddie” pool and beach.
Kids had fun at the kids' pool, also had a dip in the bigger pool as well as playing at the beach.
Pool is good for a visit in the afternoon as dead bugs in the pool take some time for staff to clean throughout the morning.
Did not get a chance to try the wellness centre as it was closed Monday.

WWeeThe hotel is nice and new. Room also good and spacious at this price. Comfortable stay. But during my stay, my room air-conditioning was happened in water leak. After the technician maintain, and leak again. Eventually they changed a room for me. The breakfast buffet is nice. Keep up the good job. Must stay in price competitive.

Zzalina morshidiNice to stay, comfy and the most thing is clean neat and tidy. The protocol to poolside also not strict like otgers hotel. Thanks to staffs also, so friendly and helpfull. Overall really good place to stay with families. Awesome and really recommended. Tq so much!
AAnonymous UserI had a pleasant stay at the Pullman Hotel. The cleanliness was excellent — everything looked spotless and well maintained. The furniture was stylish and comfortable, adding a nice touch of luxury to the room. However, I found the pillow not very comfy for my liking. Other than that, it was a great experience overall.
CChongJasonThe resort is too old which need to have a major renovation. It has been there for more than 30 years without now any upgrade. Most facilities are old and run down.
The Hilltop room is too far from the beach which is not convinence for senior people.
Breakfast buffet is over charged and not value for money but their service is quite good and friendly especially two ladies work at Egg/noodle section. Should offer ala carte for those not wish to have buffet.
Not much activities at the resort apart from enjoy the beach view.

GGuest UserEverything in the room, front desk is good & fine.
My comment would be for breakfast. Hopefully the staff can refill the food faster, it's breakfast time, the food already finished but the staff doesn't seem to want to refill, even refills also take a long time for them to do so...
MMarie BumaOur room was ok but I was not happy with the toilet bowl. The water from the flushing cistern is not strong thus making the toilet paper accumulate in the toilet bowl. This doesn't only happen in our room but we also notice the same problem for the female public toilet at the lobby area.
JJohana binti JohariRoom with sea view was absolutely perfect. The panoramic ocean view from our room were breathtaking, green, fresh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Very calm pool to swim. Private beach access was ideal for relaxing vacation.
