the hotel is very decent but it is a self service hotel so no active service, you have to find the staff by yourself. but everything's are fine the only bug we have is the card is in the middle of the machine. but the staff fixed it very quick

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. We scared all the crabs away, and only a bunch of hermit crabs (Picture 3) stayed to play with us! ☺️

The Japanese-speaking staff are very responsive to inquiries, kind, and provide helpful extra information. The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean. On the first floor, there's a hot water dispenser with complimentary coffee, oolong tea, green tea, and jasmine tea. The location is excellent, with easy access to Taichung Second Market and Taichung Park. Miyahara, Chun Shui Tang (the original store), and Taichung Station are all within walking distance. The nearest convenience store is about 200m east across the street. The downsides are that the bath towels in the room show a lot of wear, and the bathroom shelf is a bit crooked. There are no amenities, so you need to bring your own. A morning stroll to Taichung Park is lovely and makes you feel like a local.

The room facilities were quite new, and the staff were always friendly and smiling, making for a very comfortable and worthwhile stay. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring local delicacies like roselle tea, and even included a vegetarian section, which was a great bonus!

Breakfast was delicious and amazing! The room was generally clean. Next time, I might try a room type other than the business room. The room came with complimentary water and drinks, and I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh coffee beans for brewing.

Our stay at the Mulan Motel - Taichung Branch this time truly felt like a special, ritualistic getaway. From the moment we drove into our private garage and entered the room, we felt a complete sense of privacy and exclusivity, totally undisturbed. It was perfect for those times when you just want to relax without interruption. The room itself was spacious, with a design that exuded understated luxury, and the lighting created a soft, comfortable ambiance. The bathroom, with its Jacuzzi, was definitely the highlight. After a good soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all my fatigue just melted away. The bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. Its location is also incredibly convenient, close to the Taichung 7th Redevelopment Zone and popular attractions. During the day, we could take a leisurely stroll in the Fulfillment Amphitheater, and in the evening, we'd head to Fengjia Night Market for some delicious food. The itinerary flowed perfectly. Overall, Mulan isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience that encourages you to slow down and enjoy quality time, especially for couples. If you're planning a date, celebrating a birthday, or simply want to treat yourself to a relaxing break, this place comes highly recommended. ❤️❤️

Conveniently located within a short walking distance from the Hualien train and bus stations, this accommodation offers easy access for travelers. The front desk staff were polite, friendly, and always helpful whenever we approached them for directions or recommendations. One thoughtful touch was the Hualien Food Guide folder provided by the hotel, which was especially useful for my family when deciding where to eat and exploring local specialties. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was exceptionally large with a reliable supply of hot water. We also appreciated the good soundproofing, which made our stay comfortable and restful. If you are visiting Hualien, it is advisable to bring mosquito repellent, as there tend to be quite a number of mosquitoes in the area.

I stayed here with my two children after a red-eye flight. To my surprise, they even prepared wine for us, and the kids loved their cute amenities! It was truly a wonderful stay. The swimming pool also has a spa, which was perfect for both adults and children to enjoy together. It was the best!

Best best best hotel we have ever stayed in. Services provided was excellent. All staff were very genuinely. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. We stayed in another 5 star hotel in Jiaoxi which is No. 1 in Jiaoxi but the service cannot be matched. Well done to all the staff. Room was always clean. Thank you to the staff who cleaned our spectacle. It was a nice gesture. Different snacks were topped up everyday. The face mask provided was so good! Surrounding of the hotel was very nice. We had the gorge view and OMG! We don't mind waking up to this view everyday. We hope they will contruct a stairs for guest to go down to the gorge. It is a waste to just see it from the top. Breakfast was good. We could see that they have made an effort to label which is vegetarian and which is not. It's very thoughtful of the restaurant. However, we had a seafood porridge and thought it was purely seafood but notice there was chicken in it but not written. Maybe they can improve in this. Kids are very well entertained in this hotel. They have a huge play room for them. Indoor pool with heated pool is enough to keep the kids occupied for 2hours at least. They also have daily activities and some are free. Thank you Silk Place for the wonderful stay. We will be back.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was comfortable and pleasant. The welcome afternoon tea, cold brew tea, snacks and coffee/tea bags in the room, and the piping hot breakfast noodles, along with the warm and friendly service from the restaurant staff, all showcased the management team's dedication – truly commendable! After a two-day stay, I also have a few suggestions for improvement: 1. The soundproofing in the rooms is just average. Guests can easily disturb each other with slightly louder noises. 2. The front desk staff seemed overly focused on hotel rules and restrictions, lacking service flexibility. The most frequent phrases I heard were ”This isn't allowed” and ”Company policy.” The staff also rarely smiled, often responding with stiff and rigid attitudes, lacking the warmth, friendliness, and flexibility that defines good service.
