Pet-friendly Hotels in Taiwan, China

The check in was unnecessary complicated, accompanied by lenghty emails. There seem to be too many rules. It was almost impossible to use the expresso maker at the reception, as there were no cups provided, with the instructions that the hotel tries to be eco friendly and we should use the cups in our room. I was on the top floor so going up to get a cup and then having to return it was just impractical. The room was quite noisy, as it is next to the main Boulevard and even facing towards the side street.

Overall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel.  We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time. Location wise it’s very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.  There’s bus station “xiaowan” very convenient for sightseeing if you don’t rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC. In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closed… Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool. Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :) We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out. Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby bar… but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel. Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :). All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area.

I love the location of CU Kaohsiung. It is near the TRA, MRT and some bus stations. Food spots may be a few mins walk. There were suggested night markets. The check out procedure is fast and easy with the kiosks. Less personal touch but reliable. I did not like that they did not provide extra pillows and extra coffee/tea. They did not clean our room on our second night. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the pictures show bath tub and bidet, the assigned room to us does not have a bath tub nor bidet.

The B&B is about 10 minutes away from Hualien Transfer Station. The neighborhood is mainly homestays, with 7-11, supermarkets, and breakfast shops. There are several hand-letter souvenir shops near the transfer station, which is very convenient to buy souvenirs. The transfer station has a car to the airport, Qixingtan, Tailuge and other famous attractions. The homestay is convenient to stay, the host responds quickly, there is a lift and drinking water on the first floor; the room has shower liquid and shampoo, the hot water supply is stable, the water power is sufficient, but the faucet has a dumpling, you need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth cup, TV There are many stations to watch, and there is also YouTube. The next day, I encountered a 4.7 magnitude earthquake, the whole bed was shaken, and the elevator was not affected.

The location is very good, very close to Dongdaemun and Railway Culture Park

This time I found a hotel on short notice and used trip. No parking fee was added. It's acceptable to charge an additional 100 on site. The parking lot is about 300 meters away and you have to cross the level crossing. It is not far from Luodong Night Market, and can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The room is very comfortable, with good lighting, a good bed and no odor, and a small balcony The dry and wet separation in the bathroom is great, but the fragrance in the bathroom is too strong, I don't like it In addition, the bath towel is too thick, it hurts to wipe the body, it is recommended to change it Finally, the sound insulation is not very good, and you can hear the noise of the children next door at night Fortunately, I am a deep sleeper so it doesn't affect me. People who are sensitive to sound may need to consider this. Overall, there is nothing to complain about the price. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the bath towel. I would still give it 8 out of 10.

We weren't informed before check-in that the public hot spring bath was undergoing maintenance. To make matters worse, the maintenance schedule posted on-site didn't even match the actual situation, which was a real letdown. The complimentary bicycles were quite old and dilapidated, a slight minus. However, guests could sign up for the mochi pounding activity, and a buffet dinner was also available for an additional charge. These two aspects were quite good and added some positive points back.

Overall, the room is very comfortable, the lighting, furnishings, gifts and layout are all high-end, and my girlfriend and I had a lot of fun staying here. In addition to fitness equipment, the gym also has some game consoles to play. It's a pity that the spa was closed when we checked in.

It was great that we could use the pool until late at night (probably 8:30pm). There were also two types of baths and saunas!! The staff were all very kind and we were able to communicate well using a translator. One thing to note is to make sure to book the shuttle bus in advance! Next time I'd like to stay in a slightly more expensive private house!!

Although the location is a bit far from the downtown area But for a pet-friendly B&B, it is pretty clean. Because the B&B is surrounded by farmland, there are indeed some small insects But it won't have much impact It's just that the high voltage electricity nearby makes people a little concerned. The rooftop view is also nice It's great that the B&B has an elevator
