Lovely setting, plenty parking. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on restaurants. Just next door there’s a cafe and a pizzeria with a marque type set up and also a van that serves churros, donuts and crepes in the evening. Plenty of walking around and about. Only thing that was a little annoying is not being able to use the pool without booking a spa treatment which we did not do.

A hotel in the suburbs, the environment is quiet and beautiful, but the front desk service attitude is average. They arranged a room for us at the door of the corridor. It was noisy when people passed by in the morning. In addition, parking is charged.
The hotel is dated and the floorboards creak everywhere.
Feels I bit like and old persons nursing home.
But the staff were excellent, every single one of them.
Stayed in a double suite… nice enough but that ain’t not suite. We had supper in the Lakeside restaurant on site which was good and reasonably priced but it was cold in the room and the food took ages to arrive… even though I only had a Caesar Salad !!
Anyway, we decided not to bother with breakfast but check out as well as check in was faultless.
The Spa / leisure club were quite simply dismal. The pool was Arctic cold, changing rooms “snug” and loungers awful.
An old, beautiful and decent hotel. The door of the hotel is very small, but it does not affect the temperament of the hotel. The bathroom door is very old, but the water pipes and shower equipment are very good. The automatic heating of the towel hanger is very user-friendly. History is shown everywhere. The location is super good and it is convenient to go everywhere. Cheltenham is a beautiful place. I don't regret choosing the Queen's Hotel.
The hotel is located in the center of Gloucester, next to a large supermarket and a central building for eating, drinking and entertainment. The facilities are barrier-free and suitable for the elderly. It is a little old. Many local elderly people come to eat, drink and chat. The waiters are especially good to the elderly. The older sister who was traveling with me felt that the hotel was just average when she first arrived, but she didn't want to leave after staying for three days. The breakfast was also rich, English breakfast, and they also thoughtfully prepared a packing bag, allowing you to take some food back to the room. Parking is in the public parking lot next to the hotel. The overnight fee is 11.5 pounds, which is a bit expensive, but cheaper than London. It is within an hour from the surrounding towns of the Cotswolds. It is a good place for transit
I stayed here alone for business. It was a good location for me as I was driving somewhere the next day, but this hotel didn’t seem to be near anywhere so you couldn’t walk to a town or anything.
The room was nice, and comfortable.
The swimming pool was ok but the larger hot tub was cold in temperature in my opinion. I also didn’t like that the lockers in changing rooms needed a padlock to be used. As a hotel guest I don’t make a habit of carrying a padlock with me for use in a situation like this. So I had to carry all my stuff into the pool area rather than leave in the locker room.
The bar could definitely do with a face lift to make it a nicer place to sit in an evening, especially as there isn’t really anywhere else to go. The food I had was ok at best, breakfast was also good.
It was a good hotel, a bit basic, rooms (in the hall part of the hotel) need updating; not sure of the others. The restaurant good. The breakfast was good but a bit busy on one of the days.
The hotel facilities need attention. TV remote not working, the team couldn’t get it fixed easily; not ideal.
Great rooms. Great staff. Lovely location.
Drinks at bar exhorbitant price and restaurant food good but well overpriced.
Had a nice time but no Christmas menu on 14th December.

GGuest UserWe were helped upstairs with our luggage when we arrived in spite of being rather early for check in. The apartment is very well equipped. We were amazed to find a dishwasher.
The two large double beds were very comfortable. The shower was amazing. All in all, we were delighted with the accommodation. If you are planning to book this accommodation, please be aware that the stairs to the bedrooms may be a little difficult for some. However, help was on hand with luggage which was excellent. We didn't sample the food as we were out (at the 3 Choirs Festival) in the evenings as well as day time.
Rrockylee1. The location of the hotel is very good. In the center of Chipping Campden, there is a public parking lot next to it, and parking is very convenient. But be sure to pay attention to the address when navigating. There is another hotel in the same area with the same name in front of it.
2. On the day I arrived, the hotel temporarily informed me that there was something wrong with my room, so I was transferred to another higher-level hotel in the suburbs. The environment and facilities were indeed better.
