Pet-friendly Hotels in Lombardy, Italy

Not sure if it was because we arrived late on the first day, but the room we were given wasn't great. Two out of three lights in the bathroom were out, and the toilet seat cover had fallen off. After reporting it to the front desk the next morning, they promptly moved us to another room.

For the price, the hotel's location is quite good. It's about a 20-euro taxi ride to the Duomo, and the metro is extremely convenient, with the station just a 5-minute walk away. Nearby, there's a restaurant called Osteria Molo 13, which I believe is a local seafood chain. They offer a great variety of seafood, including oysters and mussels, and it's excellent value for money. While the breakfast was the same every day, it was actually quite plentiful. The single room wasn't small by Milan standards, and it was clean and very quiet.

The room size was comfortable and spacious enough for a pleasant stay. One thing I really liked was that each room has its own parking space right in front, making it very convenient to unload luggage and access the room directly. The in-room amenities were complete and sufficient for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the shower enclosure, which was quite narrow, even for an average-sized Asian male, making it a little uncomfortable to use. Breakfast was a standard breakfast. Overall, it was a good stay with convenient parking and decent facilities.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at Hotel Metropol Suisse-Como.The central location with stunning lake views made the visit even more special. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the standard of cleanliness was outstanding. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly caring and polite. The bar staff were always friendly and attentive, and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. I was genuinely impressed that the team even remembered exactly how I like my coffee — such a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. I was travelling with my mum, who has mobility difficulties, and the staff went above and beyond for her. They were always ready to help, often running to open the doors for her without us even asking. Their kindness really meant a lot to us. A special mention goes to Elvira, who was wonderfully attentive and polite during breakfast every morning. She always asked about our experience and made sure we had everything we needed. The reception staff were also outstanding, regularly checking if there was anything more they could do to make our stay even better. The food in the restaurant was superb, and it was lovely to see the owner present and engaging with guests to make sure everyone was happy. Overall, it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. I cannot praise the hotel enough and will definitely be returning again and again. Highly recommended!

My stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a great, safe neighborhood with excellent transport links. The metro is just a short walk away, and from there it’s only about 15 minutes to the city center. It also takes just 15 minutes by tram to reach the train station. To enter the hotel, you need to ring the intercom, and the door will be opened for you immediately. Then go straight to the second floor, where you’ll find the hotel reception desk. Conveniently, a Carrefour supermarket is literally a 2-minute walk from the hotel and open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM — perfect for picking up anything you need. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Check-in was smooth and fast, and I was able to get my room by 2:00 PM. They also gave me a map of Milan with all the main attractions marked and tips on how to reach them quickly. My room was very comfortable — equipped with a bed, wardrobe, hairdryer, safe, private toilet and shower, shampoo, soap, and air conditioning. I stayed on the 5th floor, and it was absolutely delightful to wake up in the morning, open the clear balcony doors, and enjoy the view. On the same floor, there was a restaurant where breakfast was served for €15. Convenient time 7:00-10:00. A huge thank you to all the hotel staff — such warm and helpful people. I would gladly stay here again.

After checking in, when I went out, I couldn't lock my room door no matter how many times I tried to turn the key, although opening it was no problem. This was quite frustrating. I spoke to the front desk lady, and she tried to lock it for me, but even she had trouble, failing multiple times. I asked to change rooms, but was told it wouldn't be possible until after 12 PM the next day. The next morning, it took me about 10 minutes to finally lock the door before heading out. When I handed in my key at the front desk, they offered to change my room, but since my train was approaching and I was checking out the next day anyway, I decided against it. The front desk service wasn't bad, but the fact that the lock was unreliable caused a lot of wasted time, and not being able to lock the door from the inside was a real issue. (Front Desk)

Every time I visit Milan, I stay here. The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the Duomo and several metro stations, making it easy to get to attractions, the Central Station, and the airport express. The room comes with breakfast, which is quite ample and includes fresh fruit. The freshly baked bread is also delicious. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent; once the double-glazed windows are closed, you can't hear the trams or other street noise. The room itself is clean and tidy, and actually looks much better in person than in the pictures. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel was reasonably priced, the room was clean to my satisfaction, and the sheets and towels were new. The location was convenient, being close to the MRT station. The front desk staff were helpful and provided information on nearby attractions and restaurants, which was a big plus. The air conditioning was quiet, and I slept soundly all night. The only downside was the small room size, but it was still quite a good deal for the price.

Not luxury. You must pay for omelet's and all eggs dishes. Nobody help with luggage in/from taxi. There's a drunk bar right outside the window. They yell until the morning. The maid came to clean right after breakfast and said she'd leave in half an hour, and she only understands Italian. The room door wouldn't open with a keycard, so I had to go to reception several times before they helped; I was too lazy to help them right away. The room only has a shower, and it doesn't have a shelf for shampoo. As a result, the hotel is three times overpriced, and two stars are too many.

The room size was quite spacious for European standards. Although the decor wasn't entirely to my taste, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and bright. The airport shuttle to the outlet mall is conveniently located near the hotel, as is the metro station. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Milan Cathedral, which was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was surprisingly varied and plentiful for Europe, with some items available for order from the staff. I got the distinct impression that all the hotel staff were enthusiastic and genuinely keen to provide excellent service. Many thanks to the hotel team for making my trip so enjoyable.
