Pet-friendly Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Stayed at Capri by Fraser Penang and used the rooms for our pre-wedding preparation. Everything was perfect! The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The environment was pleasant, and the facilities were excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, making everything much easier during our busy wedding preparations. A special mention for the delicious Suntory beer and pastries – they were absolutely yummy! The only area for improvement would be the breakfast selection, as I would love to see a wider variety of choices. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately, we were so busy with wedding preparations that we didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy all the facilities and amenities the hotel has to offer. That’s exactly why we will definitely be back again!! I booked 3types of rooms and i love all 3rooms

This loft in the city center is relatively decent. It's perfectly located for all the attractions. The airport bus stop is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are two large shopping malls nearby. A big thank you to the staff for letting us check in early. The bed linen was soft and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Shampoo and shower gel were provided for free. There's a water cooler (hot/cold) on the floor. The fridge worked great, and there was also a kettle and toaster in the room. As for the downsides: The cleanliness of the room was so-so – dusty, with a somewhat worn-out renovation, and some noticeable dirt stains in places. The shower only had lukewarm water. There were no face towels. One of the bath towels had a stain. There were ants running around near the fridge, seemingly knowing where the food was, so make sure to put all your food straight into the fridge. I left a biscuit on the table and ants swarmed it. There are no double-glazed windows, and since our room faced the street, we could hear passing cars perfectly. It's tolerable for a night or two, but not for any longer.

Stay Experience: This serviced apartment offers a very spacious layout, making it comfortable for longer stays. The automated parking system is also very convenient, and there is a convenience store located right downstairs. Service Attitude: The reception is located on the second floor, and the staff were polite and courteous throughout my stay. Hotel Location: The property is situated between the beachfront and the city centre, offering a balanced location. However, there are not many dining options within walking distance. Areas for Improvement: It would be great to have more breakfast options available. Other than that, everything else was satisfactory.

My family love the superb hospitality of Citadines Connect at Cecil. Almost every touch point creates fond and memorable experiences to each of us. Staff are delightfully hospitable, everyone of their staff are wonderful service ambassadors for the brand! So fortunate to have such a top class crew and team.  Its architecture makes Lebuh Cecil neighbourhood becomes a beautiful spot to behold and enhances the entire surrounding. Fall in love with its simple and yet unique design.

Citadines Connect Penang boasts an excellent location right in the heart of George Town, making it super convenient for getting around, finding food, and exploring attractions. The hotel's overall cleanliness is top-notch; the rooms are neat, fresh, and well-maintained. They even offer complimentary freshly ground coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch and very convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Found this gem of a place by accident. With many hotels increasing rates during the festive season I managed to book a room here for a price I thought was way below the average for a 3 room unit. Of course my expectations were not much BUT when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised - what I say a “bang for your buck” - it was near one of the busiest shopping complexes and close to highways which was a breeze until u hit town (obviously). My room even had a sea view. It’s tucked away outside the busy streets and to me it gave me the extra quietness and calm I needed after a long drive. I hit the pool and tried the gym - not a big gym but “it’s all there”. This is what I noticed : bus station and airport was in my opinion nearby (no more than a 20min grab ride) In short you can’t fault this property for the price you’re paying. I will be back! Tq for making the stay memorable.

The price is good, and the location is excellent with a partial sea view. The high floor makes it very quiet, and the shower pressure is fantastic. Breakfast is basic, nothing special. A female staff member at check-in was quite unhelpful and wouldn't let us check in early despite there being available rooms, insisting we wait until 3 PM. However, after complaining through Trip.com, the communication was very active and effective. Less than 5 minutes after the complaint, they told us the room was ready for check-in! This time, I have to give Trip.com and their staff five stars!

This hotel is perfectly situated between the city and the famous beach. Plenty of food options and shopping malls are right around the corner. Downstairs and in the immediate vicinity, there's a fantastic food court, numerous malls, cafes, and restaurants, offering a huge variety of choices. The food court even features vendors selling authentic local delicacies. I highly recommend this hotel, the scenery is beautiful. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee and savor life.

The stay was nice. It was clean and the host also very nice. Self check in so it was really convinient when I arrive late due to work and bad weather. Host also fast respond when I call. Definitely will come again one fine day. Tq

Okay, it's cheap, but the location is actually quite far from Kampung Agong, even though it says it's only 11km on the booking. It took us 1 hour 40 minutes, almost 2 hours!
