Dai-ichi Takimoto lived up to its reputation! The bathhouse is wonderfully spacious with a great variety of pools, so much so that there's even a recommended bathing sequence – I only discovered it on the steam room's exterior wall on my second day, and it was quite an eye-opener! There are also three charming outdoor pools with beautiful views. The staff were all very attentive. We didn't book dinner, but breakfast was fantastic – a rich selection of high-quality dishes. (Note: there aren't many restaurants on the hot spring street outside, especially in the evening. I'd recommend the ramen shop for lunch and the seafood rice at the onsen market for dinner.)
The twin room in the South Wing was very spacious, the facilities were modern, and the view from the window was lovely. My only gripe is the somewhat impractical layout. Firstly, I'm not sure if it's because of the integrated bathroom unit, but the bathroom itself was tiny and cramped, forcing us to use the main bathhouse in the mornings and evenings. Secondly, the wardrobe was placed in an awkward spot, making it inconvenient to open and access clothes. I genuinely suggest they visit some mid-range hotels in China, like those under the HUAZHU Group's Ji Hotel brand, to see how they ingeniously solve these design challenges.
The room was spacious and offered great value for money. The service was excellent, and the location was very convenient. It's close to Daimaru Department Store, and a 620 yen ride away from the TV Tower, which is also a short walk. There's also the Former Hokkaido Government Office nearby, which is perfect for a quick photo op. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right across the street and a FamilyMart about 100 meters down the road.
The onsen hotel's lobby is very grand, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of Lake Toya. The staff were very helpful, and the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes. The accommodation was decent; I booked a Western-style room, which had a rather retro decor. I'd recommend the Japanese-style rooms or the new Western-style ones instead. The hotel's large public bath, with the snowy Lake Toya as a backdrop, was absolutely stunning, though it's not actually fed by natural hot spring water. Upon checkout, there was an additional hot spring tax, which wasn't much – 30 RMB per person per day.
This is a historic Japanese onsen hotel. The hot spring water quality is genuinely good, attracting many Japanese families and couples. There are also quite a few Korean families and Western tourists. However, the overall facilities are a bit old, and the flow within the onsen area is quite complex. There aren't many pools, but they are spread across multiple floors with lots of stairs. Walking around like that **in that condition** felt a bit awkward and cold. The open-air onsen on the 16th floor is shared by men and women at different times, so if all family members want to enjoy it, one day definitely isn't enough (see the last picture for the onsen schedule). The 'water world' is fun and great for kids, and soaking in the hot spring after playing there is very relaxing. The dining is just okay, nothing special, as they mainly cater to group tours.
P.S. The scenery in Jozankei is worth exploring, and the nearby ski resort is worth a visit (the kind for playing in the snow). The kids had a blast.
The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, which is fantastic! The cabins are very unique, with a truly natural environment, and the service is top-notch; everyone is incredibly welcoming. In particular, the Chinese receptionist, Xiao Zhang, was a huge help. He handled all the communication and service, from arranging breakfast and dinner to providing transportation and information about the hotel. Communication was never a problem, and he was extremely attentive to every detail. Thank you so much! I'm very satisfied.
The hotel room is considered large in Japan. We were 3 people and the hotel provided us with a separate sofa bed. There are also many food stalls near the hotel, which is very convenient. It is 3 subway stations away from Sapporo Station. Convenient transportation.
The Japanese-style room had someone dedicated to making the beds, and there was plenty of space for three adults, not cramped at all. It's very close to Shirahige Waterfall, right downstairs from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers many convenient services, such as shuttle buses to and from Asahikawa and the Blue Pond, making it very easy to explore the surrounding area.
The only downside was that the bathroom in our room type didn't have a wet/dry separation and was very small, not suitable for showering inside. Luckily, the hotel has a hot spring bathhouse, so my family and I went there morning and evening to shower.
This resort is located on the mountaintop and offers many snow activities. We had a great time playing in the snow in the afternoon! As someone from the south, I've never seen so much thick snow before! The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, though the food options are limited. We tried the Michelin-starred Teppanyaki, and the service was excellent, and the taste was pretty good! However, the Japanese breakfast was just average.
I booked two nights, the price is less than 200 per night, and the Otaru Hotel during the Snow Festival is more than 800+, so I chose a warm youth hostel.
The person in charge is an old lady. You will find her humor and enthusiasm when you communicate with her. If there is no one at the front desk, you can ring the bell. You need to leave the key at the front desk when you check out.
The second floor can be connected to the bathhouse on the first floor (I didn’t go because it seems to be an independent business bathhouse, and my roommate likes to go there);
If you are assigned to a double room as shown in the picture, you are lucky because you will live very comfortably. My roommate is of the same country and the same sex, and we chatted like friends;
If you are assigned to a quadruple room, then you will experience a rich youth hostel life. The roommates are men and women from all over the world. It is easy to communicate in a narrow environment. Everyone is very quiet and you don’t have to worry about your sleep problem.
But there is indeed a smell that is not like 🦶 air for two days. I can’t tell the difference. There is a burning thing in the room (it seems to be an air purifier) that can solve this smell.
The interesting thing about this youth hostel is that it is like a blind box. You don’t know what you will encounter.
The hotel was excellent! The room was spacious, the view was great, and everything felt brand new. The staff provided exceptional service too. We dropped off our luggage early before heading out, and when we returned to check in that evening, a staff member escorted us all the way from the ground floor to the 9th-floor lobby. Our room was already assigned when we gave our name, and our luggage was already waiting for us inside. The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic – delicious and fresh, especially the sashimi rice bowl. My 6-year-old son even got a complimentary breakfast. We also dined at their French restaurant for dinner. For three people, we ordered two full courses and a children's set meal, which only came out to 1500 RMB. The best part was that each dish was paired with a different wine, offering incredible value for money. This hotel truly offers a luxurious experience; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserPark Hyatt Niseko Hanazono’s architecture, environment, interior design, and lighting design were all truly wonderful. We were consistently impressed by the excellence of service, which made our visit even more memorable.
The food and beverage service was warm and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The front desk and transportation team were outstanding in assisting us with our trip activities and transport arrangements. Additionally, the housekeeping department did a fantastic job in keeping our room clean and tidy.
It is evident that the hardware and software (the staff) at Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono are perfectly matched. We are so glad we chose to stay at Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono
We look forward to returning in the future!

よよてぃこThe buffet had a variety of options and was delicious. I was able to eat a lot of crab, which was great. There was a TV in the bathroom in the room. The pool and hot springs were great. If you're afraid of heights, the elevator might be scary... I'll post a photo, even though it's not very photogenic.
GGuest UserFor a weekend 2 day onsen break, this hotel is perfect. Noboreitsu is a small place and the location of this hotel is very good (at the bottom of a hill right next to the bus terminus). The single room itself is small but adequate albeit retro, but the onsen facilities are pretty good and despite the large commercial size of the hotel, the onset is never busy. The breakfast and dinner buffets are decent, but as it barely changes, you will get bored pretty quickly after 2 days. Jikokudani is less than 10 minutes away by foot - if you enjoyed this during the day, it is super-pretty in the evening and the evening walk makes a lovely post-dinner saunter (see photos). You will pass the main shopping street on the way there and back (most shops close at around 9pm). The only downside to the hotel is the sheer number of tour groups that check in/out. 4-6pm and early morning 8-10am are just rammed with tour buses/groups and the hotel lifts are packed as a result.
MM20185****This hotel is quite affordable for Jozankei, though it doesn't have private onsen. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the rooms are spacious enough. Booking the bus from Sapporo to Jozankei was convenient, and we saw many Japanese seniors staying there. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered a good variety of fruits and vegetables, and everything was pretty tasty. It was also very convenient for my trip to Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort. Recommended!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel with kids facility
Food are nice
But they have free flow with bingo tem on the day we checked in, don't know why the restaurant staff don't want to show us the free flow menu .
We asjec the waiter for detaills, he showed us.
But we don't know our kidx can play bingo ten after dinner . No one told us.
Other than that , all are good
AAnonymous UserThere are traditional hot springs, very Japanese service, the bed and pillows in the room are quite comfortable, dinner and breakfast are also OK, I will come again, the service attitude is also impeccable.
FFPYFantastic environment just in front a ski resort with stunning view. Good carpark space for guests.
Just happened it is snowing and the view is like a paradise.
Rooms are on upstairs 1 floor, do request assistance from the helpful staff to assist you.
All the staff is friendly, handsome and beautiful.
Try to offer some Japanese food as that's what we expected, for breakfast and dinner.
The cafe is beautiful, needs more marketing exposure.
