Guest UserWe had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

The hotel's ambiance is elegant and grand, and the service is professional and attentive. My entire experience, from check-in to check-out, was fantastic. The room was spacious with comfortable furnishings, and all the facilities were complete and easy to use. The cleanliness was impeccable, with attention to every detail. The on-site dining was high-quality, and the lounge areas were quiet and pleasant. It's suitable for both short stays and leisure trips. The experience far exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it.

Mateja BokanThis was a very weird hotel experience. Firstly, the staff is great and were very responsive to any issues I had. That being said, the hotel has seen better days. I changed rooms, but both rooms had very dirty carpets and bathrooms which had traces of molding on the silicone connections, and the windows were, in my opinion, small. The showers were clean, but the hairs were not removed for a long time, and the water drained very slowly. During my stay, I even saw a small gecko run across the bathroom... The AC unit is terribly loud too, and I couldn't sleep the first night almost at all because of it. I later got used to it, but it still gave me troubles during nighttime. On the third day, around 8:25, the cleaning staff barged into the room unannounced. Even though I was awake, this created an awkward experience... Later, when they came again, they only quickly knocked before coming inside again... The hotel's breakfast is minimal, and poorly prepared. I'd recommend skipping it, and getting something from the street in front of the hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good, being only a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to the Mount Longhu scenic area entrance.

WangruofeifeiMy family loved it! The service was great, and the two ladies at the front desk were so kind. My Marriott Bonvoy membership registration had a phone number error, and they patiently helped me late at night. The room was very comfortable, and the whole environment was fantastic. You can even try on Hanfu! If you're traveling with kids, I highly recommend checking out the children's playground next door – it's really good. We also went to Lingshan, just remember to go early in the morning. We'll definitely be back!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, really close to the Jinsha cable car. After a day of sightseeing, you really appreciate how convenient it is – a 3-minute walk, no more than 5 minutes, and you're back at the hotel. The fish in the set menu at the restaurant was, well, hard to describe. When I first entered the room, there was a bit of a smell, probably due to the plum rain season. The welcome fruit was just two small pastries and two plums, which felt a bit perfunctory.

Leesa DaviesWe liked the nostalgic feel of the hotel. It makes you feel like you have gone back in time. The room is a little bit dated (shower screens need some attention), however it still had that touch of class. The front steps are a killer, however there is a lift to bring you up the level of the hotel, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our heavy suitcases up the many steps. There is a bus station almost out the front of the hotel to tour the mountains many scenic areas. It is not in the shopping area of Kuling Street, but it's an easy bus ride to visit this area. We liked that there are a few restaurants, cafes and convenience stores close to the hotel as well. We were not able to use our foreign credit card and as we could not use WeChat pay, we needed to find another way to pay for the room with assistance from family with a Chinese bank account. I think it was because it is not part of a large chain of hotels and is in a relatively remote area. But overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient.
We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

WulaitingluyunThis hotel boasts an excellent location right within the Huangling scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. There's a dedicated reception center at the foot of the mountain for guests, who can take a private cable car up. After disembarking, a hotel shuttle buggy takes you directly to the hotel's reception point. Since some parts of the village are inaccessible to vehicles, staff are on hand to help carry luggage, making the entire check-in process very smooth.
The hotel itself is a conversion of old traditional buildings, offering spacious rooms that adhere to the 'restore the old as it was' philosophy. Upon entering, you're greeted by rustic ancient walls, steeped in history. Inside, exquisite old walls, wood carvings, and antique wooden tables are preserved, offering rich textural details, while modern amenities are seamlessly integrated. The layout features a foyer leading into the guest room, which comes with a private balcony. The balcony is furnished with traditional tables and chairs, adding a unique touch. Facing the 'Patriotic Wall,' the balcony offers superb views, and at night, you can even catch glimpses of the dragon lantern parade passing by – a fantastic viewing experience.
Overall, the hygiene is good, especially considering it's a renovated old house, and all bathing facilities are comprehensive. The hotel's attention to detail is impressive; every window is fitted with screens, effectively keeping mosquitoes out. The room features multiple small windows, each offering lovely views of the ancient village.
The biggest advantage of staying inside the scenic area is the ability to perfectly avoid crowds and easily return to the hotel for the restroom, eliminating the need to queue or worry about public restroom hygiene in the scenic area. This is particularly convenient for families with children. Although the room rate is over a thousand per night, considering the location, views, service, and overall experience, it's definitely worth it.

Guest UserStaying at Junlan after hiking Mount Sanqing really helped alleviate the fatigue. The hotel is nestled among the mountains, and the courtyard environment is quiet and peaceful. Taking a walk around the grounds in the evening and enjoying the mountain breeze was incredibly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was just the right firmness. Lying down after a day of hiking significantly eased my aching muscles. It's very close to the Jinsha cable car and offers a shuttle service, which means you don't have to rush early the next morning to go up the mountain – that's a huge plus for tourists. The staff were all very approachable; they responded quickly to any questions and even offered simple hiking tips. The breakfast selection was sufficient, with plenty of local flavors to try. In your free time, you can take a dip in the pool to relax your muscles. Overall, it's not a flashy luxury hotel, but it excels in providing a comfortable and reassuring stay. When you're traveling, a hassle-free and effortless stay is all you need, and this place is a truly practical choice for a visit to Mount Sanqing.
