This hotel truly blew me away! Firstly, it's located right next to the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, and the hotel offers a shuttle service that drops you off near the side entrance. Plus, the scenic area entrance tickets and sightseeing bus tickets are complimentary, which is super convenient. Secondly, the design of this hotel is incredibly photogenic! Whether it's the lobby, the reception areas, the restaurant, the pool, or the garden, each space has its own unique charm and is perfect for photos! Most importantly, the service is excellent and very attentive. The package even included a travel photoshoot. My stay here was fantastic! Highly recommend!

This hotel truly boasts a first-class river view, offering stunning sunset views every day and a light show across the river. The front desk lady was exceptionally warm and welcoming. My only minor complaint is the constant buzzing sound at night, which seemed to be from the neighboring air conditioning unit, likely because our family room was on the end.

We had such a lovely stay here. We were offered free fresh fruit straight from the garden (mango and other local fruits). We were offered tea. The owners were very nice, and so helpful. They didn’t speak English but helped us book tickets for the sightseeing bus and provided great recommendations. Breakfast was unique but very nice. Rooms were so clean, massive. Great area. Comfy bed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The highlight of my Lijiang trip has to be the Jinmao Hotel Lijiang, a Hyatt Centric hotel! I've stayed in countless hotels, but this place truly captivated me with its 'bustling outside, serene inside' experience. It's just a 15-minute walk to Shuhe Ancient Town, and after soaking in the vibrant atmosphere there, you can retreat to this Naxi-style courtyard oasis. The red walls and black tiles reflected in the flowing water, even the air feels relaxing. The room was an absolute delight. The solid wood furniture exuded a warm, rich feel. The hotel offers many activities, and the service details were impeccable. You can even catch a glimpse of the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the breakfast restaurant. The room also came with a large bathtub, adding a perfect touch of vacation luxury. The hotel staff were always prompt and thoughtful, making the trip feel like a warm family visit. From the facilities to the service details, everything showcased a five-star quality. I particularly want to thank Christina for her attentive care, which made the entire journey incredibly comfortable. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

Cleanliness is pretty decent, but don’t expect the cleanliness of a 5* hotel. Bathroom shower walls are slightly moldy at the corners and edges, so if you’re a fussy traveler this may be a 3 or 4 rating. Depending on your requirements, this location can bea 5/5 or a 2/5. This is located far from Dukezong Ancient Town, and far from other restaurants. Scenery is great and quiet from the hustle and bustle , hence the potential 5/5 rating. But since it’s far from other places, food options and “shopping” are limited, hence the 2/5. The room we booked was quite far away from the lobby. It’s the furthest house located. Service is a 5/5. You’ll get full help with your butler carrying your luggage from your car arrival, all the way to your room, and from your room to the lobby when you checkout. Any issue? Just simply WeChat the group chat dedicated for your booking. You get free breakfast 2 choices. 1 porridge set with many side dishes. Or noodle soup. You get free afternoon tea with various choices (coconut latte was good) and a free ice cream cake. At night 8.30 onwards you get dessert soup which was great too. The afternoon tea and dessert soup can be delivered to your room. Not sure about breakfast, as we came out to the cafeteria to eat. Amenities are wonderful, 5/5. Don’t expect a swimming pool or gym here, but you’ll have activities for you to enjoy here without stepping out of the area. A small pool table near the lobby (albeit crapping conditions of the balls). Free sliced carrots provided to feed the farm animals (ducks, swans, goats, pony, donkey), but no feeding of carrots to the 3 doggies!! You also get to dress up in the traditional costume and get free photo shoot with 3 unedited photos for free (per room). If you want the edited photos, do expect to pay a sum (way more expensive than other market rates you can find outside) for it. The room has floor warmer and bed warmer which was great for the cold weather we experienced in end March. It was 0-10 degrees. The toilet was cold. The heating in toilet does not seem to work. So you have to brace the cold and take your shower. But the bed, floor and room was really warm. Hotel also have a restaurant which you can order food for lunch and dinner. But it’s a little on the pricey side. It would be better to ******* and order food delivery. But their restaurant food is surprisingly tasty. So if you don’t mind the price, can order from them. About 180 yuan for 1 meat and 1 vege dish. Overall experience was great. Love the service. If you want a chill time and not travel out to shopping areas, this is a great hotel for you to book. You get the enjoy the “pet farm” life and the nature.

Facilities: Compared to other hotels, the facilities here are truly unmatched – absolutely complete. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean and tidy. This is the only hotel I've stayed at in Kunming so far where I couldn't find a single fault. Service: Problems are resolved incredibly fast. The butler service is fantastic – very patient, explains everything clearly, and even helped upgrade my room type. I'll definitely be back to stay at the end of the month!

A real hidden gem, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Kungming hotel. The staff were very friendly, warm and really helpful, which is an important thing I look for in my stay. The hotel itself was very clean, neat and tidy, the room was beautiful with a large bathtub, clean linen and a comfortable bed. The hotel gives guests a complimentary fruit plate, bottled water and toiletries so no need to bring your own. There is a beautiful park only a two minute walk away, which in April, was in full bloom and worth a visit. I’m gutted I only spent on night there, would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back and visit again, for longer next time.

I highly recommend this rare gem in Gaozhuang that offers a tranquil escape amidst the bustle! Outside, it's lively; inside, it's healing~ Go for it, everyone!

Out of the two hotels I stayed at in Lijiang, Jishanxing was where I spent my last night. The hotel's overall ambiance was fantastic. The bed faced the snow-capped mountains directly, and I even got to witness the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' phenomenon on my last day. The hotel boasts a large lawn, perfect for kids to play, and there are even lambs and ponies you can feed! You can also enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains directly from the hotel lobby or your room. Drinks at the bar are all-you-can-drink! Dinner is also available for order at the hotel, which is super convenient. Highly recommend!

The courtyard environment is lovely, and the rooms are spacious and bright enough. The owner's service attitude is super good! The hotel is located on Lion Mountain, and a morning stroll is very pleasant. However, it might be a bit difficult for elderly people to walk around, and the breakfast is a bit too simple. Overall, it's still recommended, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!
