The hotel is located right within the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, and I honestly think it's the best hotel both inside and around the area! You can enter and exit the scenic area 24/7, allowing you to fully enjoy both the day and night views. During Chinese New Year, there were even light and dance shows, making the night scenery mysteriously stunning. The hotel itself is an Instagram-worthy spot with a fantastic design; every photo turns out great, so definitely set aside time to explore it slowly. There's a shuttle cart service from the hotel to the scenic area, and within the area, you can use the shuttle carts or rent a small electric scooter for a fee. I wouldn't recommend walking as it's sunny and vast, not very suitable for the elderly.
**Facilities**
We stayed in a suite with two rooms, and it was super spacious – easily accommodating our family of six. Snacks, drinks, and water were proactively refilled, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit warm during the day. We had to open the windows for ventilation to sleep. The hot spring area incurs an additional charge, so you can experience it if you wish.
**Cleanliness**
It was clean and tidy, with prompt housekeeping. There were no unpleasant odors, and both public areas and rooms were cleaned very promptly. Drinking water supply was unlimited and delivered to the room as needed.
**Dining**
The breakfast spread was rich, and the restaurant's location was superb, creating a fantastic ambiance for eating and taking photos. Lunch and dinner were on the pricier side and not very extensive, but the taste was decent. If you have time, I'd recommend heading into Mile city to try local delicacies instead.
**Surroundings**
It's a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, but a bit far from the city center and the Mile Giant Buddha. For a day trip or two-day trip, I'd suggest booking a private car. The nearby wineries aren't particularly special, so you can skip them. The hotel itself is worth staying at for two or three days, perfect for a vacation.
**Summary**
High aesthetic appeal, excellent location, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended for family trips, couples' getaways, especially for those who love taking photos, travel photography, and exploring Dongfengyun in depth!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable.
The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special.
This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time.
I will definitely recommend this homestay to others and hope to visit again in the future.

Lijiang, a small city brimming with romance and poetry, is home to a truly captivating place to stay: Jinmao Hotel Lijiang, A Hyatt Centric Resort.
**The Hotel's Night View: Picturesque Romance**
From the spacious balcony, the entire Lijiang Old Town twinkles with lights, resembling a flowing painting. The hotel's design cleverly blends modern and traditional elements, making the night view not only romantic but also classic and elegant. Waking up and drawing back the curtains, the scene before my eyes was even more refreshing. The hotel's balcony offers an expansive view; the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is faintly visible in the morning light, while the nearby Old Town appears exceptionally serene in the tranquility of dawn. Breathing in the fresh air and soaking in the natural beauty, a wonderful day begins.
Beyond comfortable accommodation, the hotel provides guests with an excellent experience in terms of night views, morning scenery, and convenient shopping. Jennifer at the front desk provided excellent service. Here, you can fully enjoy the romance of the Old Town and its natural beauty. Whether you're a traveler seeking relaxation or someone looking to experience local culture, this is an outstanding choice.

Seriously, who understands this feeling? Waking up to a stunning view of Napa Lake right from your bed!
The room design at Ritzman Xinsu is absolutely incredible – a massive floor-to-ceiling window frames 20 acres of grassland pasture, turning it into your private landscape. In the morning, I'd pull back the curtains to see snow-capped mountains peeking through the morning mist, and sheep grazing right below the building. I could watch that scene forever!
I stayed in a private log cabin, which perfectly blended rustic charm with modern amenities, offering both wilderness luxury and comfort. Every angle in the room was picture-perfect: sipping coffee by the window, reading by the fireplace, or standing on the balcony posing with the snowy mountains… My friends kept asking if I'd gone to Switzerland on WeChat!
The hotel's public areas are also beautiful. There's a coffee shop with mountain views, grassland swings, and golden prayer flags… Every photo taken here looks high-end. Plus, there's a billiards room, so you won't get bored even on a rainy day.
The biggest surprise here were the animals! Sika deer, alpacas, Indian Runner ducks, black swans… They roam freely around the hotel, and you can interact with them up close (but please be gentle!). 🦌
Dinner was a Yunnan-style fusion cuisine, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Eating while watching the grassland outside turn from golden to deep blue, and stars slowly appearing… In moments like these, you feel like all the fatigue from traveling was worth it.

👗 Recommend bringing light-colored or earthy-toned clothes; they blend perfectly with the grassland.

3. **Cleanliness:** The bathroom and room were spotless. Daily cleaning was thorough and meticulous, and the disinfection measures were well executed, giving us great peace of mind.
4. **Dining Experience:** The breakfast selection was rich and varied, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The restaurant environment was elegant, and the service was thoughtful.
5. **Location:** The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to transportation and plenty of commercial amenities nearby, making it perfect for both family trips and sightseeing.
6. **Extra Delights:** The hotel even provided welcome flowers, food to feed the seagulls, and a farewell gift upon departure. These thoughtful details truly touched us.
After our trip to Xishuangbanna, we stayed in Kunming for two days, and the hotel I booked exceeded everyone's expectations. The underground parking had plenty of spaces, which was very convenient. We didn't even have to leave the building to get from our room to the hot spring pools, saving us a lot of time. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; I couldn't find a single fault. Right across from the hotel is Daguan Park, which was teeming with seagulls. We didn't have to deal with the crowds at Haigeng Park; we just fed the seagulls for two days straight, and the kids absolutely loved it.

First, let's talk about the sleep experience. The mattress and pillows are super comfortable, making you feel right at home. The king-size bed easily accommodates two adults and one child without feeling cramped. The room's amenities are thoughtfully designed – the sink height prevents splashing, and the bathtub is perfect for a relaxing soak, especially with the snow-capped mountains in the background. The water temperature was just right, and disposable toiletries were provided! The bathroom floor tiles were spotless! Barefoot is definitely a-okay!
Next, about the service after check-in. We had a dedicated butler who was truly on-call and responsive! They helped us with every single request. All drinks at the front desk are complimentary during your stay and are of excellent quality. The lattes were delicious, and the juices were freshly squeezed. I had breakfast past 10 AM, and our butler even arranged for a late breakfast service – so thoughtful! The breakfast was simple yet tasty. For dinner, we ordered three dishes, which were reasonably priced and very delicious, with flavors suitable for both the elderly and children.
Finally, the scenery – it's truly right at the foot of the mountains. Around 7:30 AM, you can witness the stunning 'Golden Mountain under the Rising Sun' right from the hotel! This is an excellent hotel with fantastic service; I'll definitely be back! It's a warm and inviting guesthouse amidst the cold, snowy mountains.

Reasons for recommendation:
Firstly, the boss is great. Despite his cool exterior, the young man has a warm heart. He offered a welcoming tea, actively helped with luggage, and saw guests off. He also proactively helped book various tickets at fair prices with guaranteed quality, and provided all sorts of assistance to meet guests' needs.
Secondly, the guesthouse location is excellent. Situated on Lion Hill, it offers a super wide view. The path from Sifang Street back to the guesthouse is my favorite in the entire ancient city. The winding uphill trail becomes less crowded the further you go, leading to a very tranquil part of the ancient city. There are no bars nearby, so you don't have to worry about noise. Plus, it's very convenient to get back to the guesthouse from outside the ancient city; cars can drive all the way up the hill, and it's just a few tens of meters walk to the guesthouse.
Thirdly, the guesthouse environment is lovely. The guesthouse's signage, much like the boss, is understated, so much so that you might often accidentally walk past it. Beyond the outer corridor, the small courtyard is a hidden gem with flowers, plants, fish, and even a white magnolia tree. On the first day, there was an available room, so the boss upgraded our room type for free. From the room, you can enjoy the ancient city's night view and watch the sunrise over the ancient city in the morning. However, most houses in the ancient city are wooden structures, so soundproofing is a bit lacking. Those sensitive to noise should consider this carefully. But everyone staying there was quite considerate, and I wasn't bothered by noise at all during my stay.
I'm writing these genuine stay experiences hoping they can help those of you on your phone screen who are still undecided. Finally, the key takeaway: the boss is handsome and kind-hearted. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will still choose Yueshang. I hope it stays around forever and its business thrives.

GGuest UserAmbiance: Tranquil and secluded, a unique Chinese aesthetic. The entire room was filled with the scent of aromatherapy incense, which was incredibly refreshing. I loved the citronella essential oil and bought over 1000 yuan worth, getting a 30% discount – quite a good deal.
Facilities: The open-air heated massage private onsen was fantastic. The room directly faced the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view.
Service: Our butler, Luna, provided excellent service. She helped us book a photography session in advance, arranged our room, including housekeeping, answered all our questions, booked our airport transfer, and took care of little things like the 'Little Turtle' welcome gift and bottled water. Highly recommend! The turndown service was particularly special: on the first night, we had a rose milk foot bath in a copper basin, and on the second night, it was a coarse salt foot bath in a copper basin. Breakfast was also good and came with a scenic view.
One-way airport transfer between the hotel and Lijiang Sanyi Airport: The airport drop-off service was good.
One complimentary ethnic costume photography session (requires booking at least 1 day in advance): I had already taken photos in ******* and Yi costumes a few days prior, so here I tried on Miao ethnic clothing, which was another great experience of local culture. I didn't add any extra photos beyond the included five.
Seasonal welcome fruit: We received small fruit baskets on both days. In the evening, there were fresh juices and small cakes – red pitaya juice and orange juice. There was also a large cake in the fridge!
GGuest UserI just want to show my appreciation to the staff at the motel!
First of all, the staff was super nice and attentive! She spoke softly and gently.
And most importantly, we booked for the most expensive type of room, and it’s definitely worth it! The view was amazing!!!
The room was also spotlessly clean, with heater and humidifier (which are crucial in winter)
Honestly, there is not much in the neighbourhood, but I did enjoy the quietness and peaceful moments there! We took a free taxi (offered by the staff) and visited lijiang old town (around 20 mins away)
The breakfast was good enough (given it’s a small motel) My kids got their portion of breakfast for free too. And the staff kept asking if we needed more!
I wish I had stayed for 1-2 days so I could have more time to enjoy the peaceful time!
Will surely recommend this place!
GGuest UserThis hotel in Lijiang completely exceeded my expectations! Located in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, it manages to be a tranquil haven amidst the hustle and bustle. The traditional Naxi courtyard, with its 'three rooms and one screen wall' layout, paired with blue-tiled wooden buildings, offers a beautiful scene at every turn. Every photo I took looked like a masterpiece, providing an immersive experience into the rich Naxi culture.
The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to Sifang Street, so you can easily pop back to the hotel to rest whenever you get tired of exploring, saving you from unnecessary detours. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The service was simply impeccable. From check-in to check-out, it was efficient and thoughtful throughout. The front desk staff proactively offered tips for exploring the Old Town, porters helped with luggage, and the room service was prompt and attentive, even providing local specialty teas and snacks. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, including freshly cooked small-pot rice noodles. The hotel also has a viewing terrace where you can overlook the entire Old Town and gaze at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance, truly setting the perfect mood.
It's perfectly suited for couples, families, or solo travelers. Staying at this hotel in Lijiang Old Town truly unlocks the slow-paced lifestyle. It was definitely the best decision of this trip – a guaranteed fantastic choice!
GGuest UserEverything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way.
The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers.
During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊
On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us.
We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there..
GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location with panoramic views of the snowy mountains and ancient city. If you're visiting in summer, it would be lovely to sit on the open-air balcony in the evening, enjoying drinks and chatting with friends – very relaxing indeed. I stayed here on my last day in Lijiang and even got to see the 'golden mountain bathed in sunlight' phenomenon. The owner is incredibly kind, helping with luggage and treating you like an old friend. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit. Oh, and it's also pet-friendly, which is a big plus if you're traveling with your furry companion.
MM2be7dsk1****I've stayed in many guesthouses, and this time I chose Guanxin Guesthouse online. First and foremost, their service is excellent. Their housekeeper contacted us a day in advance to ask about our arrival time and came out to pick us up. They also offered afternoon tea, and what touched me most was their complimentary late-night sweet soup – so thoughtful! The room was very cozy, and the biggest surprise was the underfloor heating, which wasn't an extra charge. I feel really lucky to have found such a hidden gem this time.
__WeChat423078****The inn staff met us at the nearest drop-off point outside the old town to help with our luggage. The owner was super welcoming and recommended some amazing local eateries – every single one was delicious, no duds at all! The inn itself is filled with so many plants and flowers, it really feels like you're staying in a lush, green garden. The facilities and service are excellent too; the air conditioning in the room runs 24/7, so whether you're back from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain or a late-night stroll through the ancient town, you instantly feel warm and cozy. There's also a rooftop terrace with direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
GGuest UserThe best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip to Yunnan. We got a free upgrade from the owner, and the benefits that come with the room were aplenty (afternoon tea, great breakfast set, a tea-making session etc). The owner also helps us buy a nice, affordable day tour to Dali, which we enjoyed tremendously. The hotel itself is new and spacious, and our room has the view of a peaceful small river. The surrounding area is serene and quiet, with a handful of quaint cafes, restaurants and bars. It feels like a complete contrast of the other commercial side of Lijiang. Overall, we loved the stay. Will definitely recommend this our friends.

GGuest UserA few years ago, I stayed at a Pullman hotel in Thailand and had a fantastic experience! So, this time, I decided to book it again for my child and mother. Unfortunately, the service was truly disappointing. I called several weeks in advance to request a room in a good location, and the front desk agent said they'd make a note. I called again a few days before arrival, and even on the day itself, to inform them we'd be checking in late. Yet, they gave us a room right at the very end of the hallway – it was a super long walk from the elevator, from room 01 all the way to 26, around several bends! When I complained, the female manager on duty said, 'It's fine, I think it's perfectly fine!' Her words were truly unworthy of a hotel of this star rating. Ultimately, she told me the hotel was full and no room change was possible. Then, late that night, we discovered the balcony sliding door lock was broken. We had no choice but to pack up our luggage and move rooms the next day. A high occupancy isn't an excuse for poor or slow service! On a brighter note, the breakfast was still good and very plentiful. Also, the complimentary DIY craft experience, painting a Dai umbrella, was a letdown – many of the watercolor pens were dried out and wouldn't work. My child had to search for ages to find a functional one! Overall, this stay was just very mediocre.
