The hotel has a multi storey parking for hotel guest use, free of charge, but need to have a chop at front desk.
Also there is a Aeon nearby which is tax free. We buy a lot of souvenir there!
Hotel is located just next to American Village Depot Island. It is just across the street... and u will find plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment there. Although the view is not good, there is a balcony in our room.
There is also a public bath (free of charge) as well...open till very late, many people go there at night.
Remember to go before sunset as the sea view is great and many people go there for photo taking.
100% will want to stay here again. A very new and nice hotel. Great amenities, nice room space and decorations. Staff were friendly. Public bath within the hotel. Thoughtful enough to provide slippers for room and within hotel use to walk to the public bath. Free welcome drink tickets with a range of alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks to choose from. Huge carpark at the side of the hotel with a huge convenience store (family mart) right in front. Huge plus for those who doesn't want to eat in the hotel and too lazy to drive out of the compound for food.
Very good experience. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They are willing to go the extra mile to make one's journey smooth. The swimming pool is awesome, and enough lifeguards are there to make everyone safe. Oriental is not the only hotel we visited this time, and I would say their standard room is big when compared with the other same grade hotels.
One thing to highlight is the varied cuisines at the grill restaurant, value for money.
Overall, we would recommend this hotel to anyone we know, especially families. Would like to visit again.

The hotel is top notch in terms of cleanliness, I have never seen anything like it even in expensive hotels like Sheraton and Hilton. All the hidden places where dust usually accumulates were absolutely clean. The only thing is that the windows were not very clean from the outside. But you can only wash them with climbers, so this is forgiven. The food is also very tasty and high quality. There is a swimming pool, but it is not heated, so you cannot relax in it in cloudy weather or in the evening. It was upsetting that you cannot bring your own food and drinks to the pool, you had to buy them at the pool bar (very expensive). Overall, the hotel left a very pleasant impression.
Ocean view from room balcony and close to the cultural & F&B experience spot Gala. Direct access to beach and lovely to listen to waves to sleep and wake up.
Love the spaciousness in the room and amenities are good. Staff are helpful. Convenient transfer from hotel to airport. Unfortunately If not driving it’s hard to go to Yomitan town to get food or walk around because the estate was surrounded by fields and village houses and some graves.

Very nice design with loft theme. We love the room, come with everything, it's big enough and clean. In the bathroom you can try Marin & Goetz soap amd shampoo, they are good. At first, when you come to the hotel, it feels like you are in a meuseum coz it's got a unique decoration. The breakfast is also great, we're delight to add it, you wont be disappointed. Staff of so helpful and no problem with English. Car park is available for ¥1500, not a bad deal but I just think it'd be free for customers.

A major highlight of the hotel is its airport shuttle service. The minibus operates precisely on schedule. However, on my return trip after check-out, I just missed the bus by literally half a minute and had to wait another half an hour for the next one. The driver was very professional and always proactive in helping with luggage when getting on and off. My favorite part was the hotel breakfast; apart from sushi, the selection of seafood, milk, coffee, and delicate pastries were all superb. I also enjoyed the hotel's hot springs (onsen); a daily soak really helped melt away the fatigue. The toiletries provided at the onsen were also of good quality. The bar and the paid swimming pool on the 14th floor offer fantastic beach views, making them excellent spots for sunset watching. The hotel's surroundings are convenient, with supermarkets, convenience stores, and small restaurants nearby. Naminoue Shrine is right next door, and the beach is just a 10-minute walk away. The only downside is the inconvenient transportation. Getting to any attraction requires either taking a taxi or walking over 1.5 km to catch a bus or monorail. Despite the language barrier, using a translation app to communicate with the staff always yielded helpful and satisfactory responses.
My first impression was the excellent sea view from our hotel room.
The location was perfect, right in front of the beach with full frontal sea view.
Our family booked the executive loft unit which was on the top floor. The children loved their separate private area in the loft.
Although there is no swimming pool or gym, it is not an issue for us because we were out most of the day and we can swim in the sea if we want to.
Breakfast was excellent too. Good variety of food and the quality was good too.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Check in is in a self service concept where you have to queue to access a kiosk to key in your check in details to be issued keycards to your room. Then you pick up the amenities you need form different baskets in the small lobby which was quite difficult to manoeuver with luggages and many people trying to check in. Room was quite small space was tight with two single beds squashed in with very little walking space available. Toilet was automated and I like its functions.
Lives up to the hype! Absolutely amazing!
🏨 Hotel Monterey Ambiance: Elegant, wood-paneled 'old money' aesthetic. The attention to detail is remarkable – even the waiting areas for the restaurant and the smoking room offer sea views. The pool area is flanked by Tiger Beach on one side (which houses an activity club and restaurant on its ground floor) and a charming white chapel on the other.
Tiger Beach offers a wide array of water activities, making it easy to keep the kids entertained without ever leaving the hotel. While the QR codes on the promotional posters are for booking activities starting the next day, you can book same-day activities directly at the on-site club. We personally booked our glass-bottom boat tour and jet ski rides this way. The main draw here is that you barely need to leave the resort. The pool is also fantastic for kids, featuring slides and a trampoline. My son bounced on that trampoline for an entire day and still wasn't tired! Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian *in the water* – just watching from the side isn't enough. Otherwise, a staff member will soon approach with a sign asking, 'Otou-san (Dad), where are you?'
In July and August, there's a 3-minute fireworks display at Tiger Beach every other day at 8:45 PM. Make sure to head down to the beach, as you won't be able to see it from the balconies of the premium rooms. I foolishly thought I could see it from afar, but when it started, I had to dash to the elevator lobby just to catch a glimpse. The experience from the beach would undoubtedly be much better.
🍽️ Dining: The breakfast spread is incredibly lavish! Remember to scan the QR code to get a queue number in advance. Because breakfast was so impressive, we decided to book the buffet dinner, which unfortunately was a huge disappointment. There wasn't much worth eating, and it frankly paled in comparison to breakfast. Soft drinks are an extra charge, and an hour of alcoholic drinks costs 2800 JPY (all-you-can-drink). One dinner set us back roughly 10,000 JPY, which felt overpriced. However, after a full day of water activities, we were too exhausted to venture out, so we just put up with it. There are numerous restaurants just outside the hotel, but it's advisable to go early or make a reservation beforehand, as walk-ins almost always face a wait.

Very Good
GGuest UserSmall room with washing machine and pantry. The worst thing is the air conditioner has a weird sound, the frontman said it is because there is a strong wind hit the condensing unit outside. This made us hard to sleep. Though the location is closed to the sea, I will not stay this place again for sure.
WWilasineeThe accommodation is high a little up hill so you can see the nice view and kouri bridge and the beach. Rooftop is very nice. On the sunny day you should go up and observe the view :). The room have a nice Jacuzzi with the amazing view. I enjoy my time in Kouri Okinawa so much. Super thanks to Mr.Tom the owner to guide us many things. He is super helpful and friendly. We enjoy his company so much. The breakfast was delicious coming with spam/ egg sandwich and fries :) .
RRosita_chingSaid to be a hotel, more like a bed and breakfast, the rooms have laundry and drying equipment, however you have to buy your own detergent. Microwave freezer with a stovetop, however to cook utensils you need to rent. There is a terrace outside the room and free parking downstairs. In addition to being some distance from the city center, there are convenience stores nearby where you can buy things, which is good value for money.
