My stay here was fantastic! The room had great natural light and was incredibly clean, without any strange odors. It was well-equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, a desk, a TV, WiFi, and even a washing machine, and the room itself was very spacious. The soundproofing was excellent, so it was really quiet at night! The hotel felt very safe too. You can't use the elevator without a room card, and food deliveries go to a locker downstairs, so even solo travelers who are a bit wary can feel secure [happy face]. The location is superb, right next to a subway station, making travel super convenient. It's also very close to Dalian Station, within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy! I even asked how much it would cost to extend my stay by an hour, and the owner said it was no problem and wouldn't cost anything [rose][rose][rose]. The owner is incredibly kind. I had to leave unexpectedly and didn't have time to buy disposable bedding. I was thinking of bringing my own sheets but felt lazy and didn't want to carry them. I asked if they had any, and they gave me a disposable set for free! They even upgraded my room for free, and I could see a stunning sunrise right from my bed. The view and my mood were both perfect.

To be honest, I was a bit surprised the moment I stepped into the room, and my family was equally amazed when they saw it. The room was exactly like a family apartment, with very tasteful decor. It easily accommodated our family of five (four adults and one baby). The room and living area were spacious. Since it was raining, we ordered takeout and ate at the dining table in the living room – it felt just like home. If you're visiting Dalian's Water City, this is absolutely, unequivocally my top recommendation. It’s just across the street from Water City and a mere 100 meters from the seaside boardwalk. Absolutely fantastic! Oh, and the owner was incredibly welcoming; they came downstairs to pick us up as soon as I called.

After this trip, I will never forget this hotel🏨, and I plan to come here again with friends when I have time. My husband chose the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is very close to the seaside, just a minute or two walk away. The decoration inside the hotel makes people feel particularly comfortable, with reasonable layout and practical placement of items. It feels like the decoration design is very thoughtful. I heard that there were no vacancies when we booked a suite. The big bed we booked was also very good. This hotel was the most comfortable hotel to stay in during this trip. In addition, the breakfast here is also very rich, and the service staff are also very good. I will definitely come again next time. grateful

Had a fantastic experience! It's super easy to find, right across the street from the subway exit. Plus, it's not too far from Venice Water Town and Sea Rhyme Park. The front desk service was excellent, and the room itself was spacious and well-equipped. Security is great too, with a controlled access entrance to the building and a key card entry system for the room. The natural light is amazing, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning. Plenty of dining options nearby for all your meals, including late-night snacks!

I did a lot of research before coming to Dalian, and with a two-year-old, this room type immediately caught my eye. I thought my child would absolutely love the slide. And sure enough, as soon as we entered the room, she adored it! Every time we were in the room, she'd go up to play. The castle 🏰 is beautiful and great for photos. I also booked a room with a soft play area, and my child had a blast there too. Choosing to stay at Castle Hotel this time was truly worth it.

The room style was pretty much as pictured. We booked a loft without a sea view, but actually, the view from the 3rd floor was decent. However, having stayed at so many seaside hotels, this view wasn't really stunning, just a nice bonus. Back to the room itself, the front desk service was excellent. They were so polite and attentive, the staff even helped us apply the disposable liner for the soaking tub. The tub itself was fantastic! Even though it was square and the plastic liner wasn't a perfect fit, it was genuinely very large. Our room on the first floor was near the car park but it wasn't noisy, and delivery food could come straight to our door, which was super convenient. The Arabian-themed decor was quite amusing, with a canopy bed on the main floor. The second level was a small half-story with a tatami-like dessert bed, which our child absolutely loved sleeping on. Honestly, I think it's a pretty versatile room, suitable for both couples and families.

The location is very good, making it easy to drive anywhere. The room is clean and tidy, and there's parking in the basement. I stayed for two nights, and the owner even asked if I could help with the cleaning on the second day. Overall, it was very good.

Absolutely worth every penny! I can sum up my stay in one word: exceptional value. The room was very spacious with a million-dollar view, all at a very friendly price. There is a washing machine in the room, and hot water was not an issue at all during winter. Just a small tip: avoid showering while the washing machine is running, as it seems to draw the hot water away. At first, I thought there was a food warmer or stove, but this room does not have one. However, the staff kindly allowed us to use the microwave at the office. The host was incredibly helpful and always replied very quickly on WeChat — so fast that I honestly wondered if they ever slept! 😄 The bedding was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was smooth and flexible; we could easily request cleaning or refills on the days we needed them. If there is one area for improvement, I would suggest renovating some details, such as repainting areas where the paint is peeling and re-sealing the sink edges and other parts of the bathroom. There was a slight cigarette smell in the room, but it really depends on how sensitive you are. For us, opening the window for ventilation or using a spray solved the issue easily. Some noise from other areas was noticeable, as there is a gym on the same floor, and during our stay it was New Year’s, so there were some party noises. That said, this can happen anywhere and is not something the property can fully control. Getting there was easy — we took a taxi directly to the hotel address. Check-in is on the 23rd floor, Room 19, where they provide the room number and access code. Wi-Fi is available, and only a passport is needed for registration. For check-out, simply notify them via WeChat. Around the hotel, there are a few small local eateries within walking distance, though we did not notice a convenience store nearby. Overall, I would rate this place excellent. I’m not judging it by hotel star standards, but by value for money — and what we received was far beyond what we paid for. Highly recommended!

Booked 2 rooms on a higher floor to enjoy the city views. Unfortunately there was a noticeable toilet smell in both rooms. Reporting this to the hotel staff we were allocated alternative rooms. They still had a smell but it was less pungent than the others. Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago, its showing signs of tiredness in fixtures, fittings and facilities. We were told the hotel will be refurbished in the year ahead. Breakfast buffet is good with a wide selection of western and Asian cuisines. It gets busy, especially at the weekend. There is a decent sized pool though the changing rooms are in need of refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of other 5 star properties in the city. Room rates are currently low to reflect the hotels current situation, as told by a manager when the room smell was reported. Still a great stay thanks to its location and breakfast offering and the room rates. Look forward to its refurbishment in the future.
