What a find! This high-value sea-view hotel truly delivers. When traveling, choosing a sea-view room often comes with the fear of 'what you see isn't what you get' or poor value for money. However, this stay completely exceeded my expectations—for a mid-range price, I got the 'view + comfort + convenience' trifecta. Students, budget travelers, or anyone looking for a practical vacation, go for it! The location is truly impeccable. Just a 300-meter walk to the beach, and opening the window reveals an unobstructed, first-line sea view, with no awkward buildings or trees blocking the way. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening, with the mountains (or coastline) framed perfectly with the sea. Even phone pictures look like wallpapers. What's more surprising are the surrounding amenities: a convenience store downstairs and direct transport to popular attractions, balancing the romance of the sea view with the convenience of a city walk. The room amenities far exceeded the price expectation: the 1.8-meter king-size bed was so soft, melting away all travel fatigue after just one night. The 180-degree panoramic window maximized the sea view, and all basic facilities were complete, including a wet/dry separation bathroom, free WiFi, and clean bedding. It was incredibly friendly for tourists staying for a few days, completely lacking the perfunctory feel of a budget hotel. I compared it with other hotels in the same area, and this one is at least 20% cheaper, but the view and comfort are not compromised in the slightest. It doesn't aim for luxurious decor but perfects the core needs of 'sea view, convenience, and a good night's sleep.' Every penny is well spent here. I will definitely choose this place again next time; it's the ultimate high-value sea-view room!

I was truly impressed! I came to Dalian during the off-peak season and booked two rooms. Upon entering, I was amazed by how bright and tidy the rooms were; they were incredibly clean, excellent housekeeping. Being on the 48th floor, the night view was simply stunning and so comfortable. The soundproofing was also great, not a single noise. The temperature was perfect, and the bed was large and soft. The TV was clear, and all amenities were readily available. Even though it's a high floor, there are plenty of elevators, so there's never a long wait. The surroundings have everything – restaurants, bars – making it convenient to go anywhere. What I want to highlight most is the amazing service from the front desk ladies; they were so kind and lovely, haha! They were also very patient during check-out and didn't rush us at all. This was, without a doubt, the most satisfying hotel I booked for this trip. I can't praise it enough; in short, it's excellent, and I will definitely come back again. Shout out to the lovely ladies!

An absolutely perfect stay. The InterContinental Dalian boasts luxurious, elegant, and grand facilities. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and inviting, offering breathtaking views of the East Port shipyard and the ocean. Its prime downtown location provides incredibly convenient access to subway and bus lines, and taxi rides around the city are also very affordable. It's just a short walk to the historic century-old buildings around Zhongshan Square. Check-in was a breeze, and the service was attentive and incredibly warm.
A special thank you to DANA at the front desk for her excellent service. I also appreciate the doormen who always helped me with my bags from the taxi. Finally, kudos to the F&B department for the thoughtful gesture of delivering red date and pear soup to my room in the evening, which was a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Dalian truly is a fantastic city!

After this trip, I will never forget this hotel🏨, and I plan to come here again with friends when I have time.
My husband chose the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel is very close to the seaside, just a minute or two walk away.
The decoration inside the hotel makes people feel particularly comfortable, with reasonable layout and practical placement of items. It feels like the decoration design is very thoughtful.
I heard that there were no vacancies when we booked a suite. The big bed we booked was also very good. This hotel was the most comfortable hotel to stay in during this trip.
In addition, the breakfast here is also very rich, and the service staff are also very good. I will definitely come again next time. grateful

Unable to secure a twin room at the Four Seasons, and with our elderly family members specifically requiring separate beds, we instead booked Fraser Suites' largest three-bedroom apartment.
We were assigned to the 21st floor (out of 25, a minor disappointment as it wasn't one of the top two floors). The apartment featured an L-shaped layout, which felt a bit unusual. The master bedroom had a king bed, while the other two bedrooms had a queen bed and two single beds, respectively. Without floor-to-ceiling windows, the visual impression of space felt a little constricted.
The layout of the living and dining areas wasn't ideal and could benefit from an upgrade or rearrangement. The open-plan kitchen was tastefully designed, and both a washing machine and dryer were conveniently located next to the fridge. However, the range hood's ventilation wasn't very effective.
The use of Villeroy & Boch and Hansgrohe for bathroom fixtures suggests a relatively high investment in the property's hardware.
We had requested mouthwash and a variety of pillows during booking, and thankfully, these requests were eventually met, partly due to the booking platform's coordination.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable, offering a perfect balance of softness and support – a truly unexpected highlight.
The swimming pool was the most satisfying feature. The water temperature was a bit on the cool side, and while its length was acceptable, it was rather narrow. The depth, ranging from 0.9m to 1.5m, was fine, though I did graze my toe on the pool floor in the shallowest section. The changing rooms were excellent, complete with hot and cold plunge pools and both wet and dry saunas. Plus, they had Dyson hairdryers, which were far superior to the ones in the apartment.
**Points for improvement:**
1. The toothpaste provided was Meijianjing, which seemed out of place for a hotel of this caliber.
2. After checking in, we discovered there was only one hairdryer for three bedrooms. Furthermore, it was one of those models that require you to continuously hold down the handle to operate – a type I'd never encountered before. After calling room service, they simply provided another identical, awkward hairdryer. Why not the Dyson ones found in the gym changing rooms?
3. The toilet paper was incredibly thin and rather rough. For a property of this standard, one would expect at least Kleenex-quality tissue.
4. The living room television was too small and had poor picture quality; it definitely needs an upgrade.
5. There weren't enough waste bins, and their placement was inconvenient.
6. Out of the three bathrooms, only the master bathroom featured a non-standalone bathtub, which was awkwardly placed inside the shower cubicle, making it very inconvenient to use. What's more, there was a small, completely empty room right next to it with no facilities at all.
7. The wardrobe hangers were not suitable for delicate clothing, as there were no padded or silk hangers provided.
Overall, while it offers excellent value for money, it doesn't quite qualify as a luxury hotel apartment, falling more into the category of an entry-level five-star property like a Shangri-La or Hilton.

Novotel will be my top choice next time I visit Dalian! Absolutely fantastic!
This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my Dalian trip. For the first two days, unfamiliar with the city, I booked a highly-rated hotel online based on its location. To my dismay, it didn't even have blackout curtains, and I was woken up by sunlight shining on my bed past 5 AM. I decisively switched to Novotel, which, coincidentally, is located in the same building. I regret that Novotel wasn't a recommended option when I made my initial booking online.
**Location:** Situated in the heart of Zhongshan District, it's near Dalian Times Square (luxury shopping) and very close to Zhongshan Square and the charming Nanshan Street. Its excellent location makes it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. A taxi to Xinghai Square only costs around 10-20 RMB. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and leisure options in the vicinity.
**Ambiance:** The hotel boasts a 'light luxury' design, which feels very comfortable and inviting. It's impeccably clean, fresh, and hygienic, with a complimentary fruit platter provided daily.
**Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive and include everything you'd expect. There's both a laundry room and a well-equipped gym. The on-site restaurant also serves a delicious breakfast!
**Service:** The service is exceptionally warm and friendly, truly making you feel at home. The staff are polite and greet you every time they see you. Even the cleaning staff proactively offer a greeting with a smile.
The only minor drawback is that it shares elevators with several other hotels, and there's no key card required to access floors directly, which could be a slight security concern.

Staff are kind and patient. Was upgraded to a sea view. The room is spacious and very clean. Wifi works. Air-conditioning is strong. Hot water is strong. All appliances work. Bed is comfortable. I decided to extend my stay and an extra 3 nights. Will stay again.

Staying at The Castle Hotel Dalian is like stepping into a fairytale! Perched on a hillside, it offers direct views of Xinghai Bay Bridge, and the sea-view rooms boast incredible vistas. The concierge service is attentive, and the front desk staff are efficient. The shuttle bus is always on call. The guest rooms are exquisite, the bedding is comfortable, and the Bvlgari amenities are top-notch. The breakfast is authentic, and getting around is convenient. It truly lives up to its reputation as a Dalian landmark – I'll definitely be back!

The location is average, but as a new hotel in the same price range, its advantages are obvious. The bathroom shower is very comfortable; it's great to take a hot shower after returning from the beach. It also comes with charging cables and USB charging ports, smart control, and a large TV that can screen mirror. The room was exceptionally warm, definitely exceeding expectations, offering great value for money!
The relative downside is that daily cleaning wasn't very thorough; sometimes mineral water wasn't replenished, and the bed was only made without a detailed cleaning. However, the front desk was always responsive to requests. Water and takeout could even be delivered to the room by a robot, so that was acceptable. Also, the vanity mirror was stuck to the wall and kept falling off.
Finally, regarding the key card for electricity: it seems you must use the room key card here; a regular card won't work. In that case, I'd suggest the hotel proactively provides multiple room cards when multiple guests are checking in.

This was an excellent experience. The hotel's location is superb; you step right onto the beach as soon as you exit, making seaside strolls incredibly convenient. From the rooms to the restaurant and the service, everything deserves five stars. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a large floor-to-ceiling window offering an endless view of the sea and a clear sight of the cross-sea bridge – truly a fantastic view. The breakfast at the restaurant was high quality; I tried several dishes, and they all tasted great, especially the beef noodles with their large, tender, and flavorful beef chunks. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently, which made me feel comfortable and welcome. If I get the chance to visit Dalian again, I'll definitely stay at the Grand Hyatt again; it offers incredible value for money.

LLiangguniangOur first stop in Dalian was Jinshitan. The hotel's back entrance directly faces Gate 4 of the scenic area, leading right to a pebble beach. It's also very close to rocky areas perfect for tide-pooling. Our little one had a blast, catching crabs and hermit crabs. The room's facilities and amenities were quite satisfactory, and the service was excellent. Since our child has a habit of napping, the front desk was very accommodating and arranged a late check-out for us. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely visit again.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a fantastic location. Right outside, you'll find a scenic viewing platform, conveniently situated between Gates 3 and 4. For just 20 RMB, you can enjoy unlimited rides on the shuttle bus all day, which conveniently connects all gates from 1 to 7. Gates 3 and 7 offer water activities, while Gate 6 features a charming beach dotted with pink tents. If you're looking for dining options, Gates 1 and 2 have a wider selection. In the evenings, Gate 3 also hosts vibrant stage performances. The hotel rooms are generously sized. Photos 1, 7, and 10-13 below were all taken from the hotel balcony, showcasing the stunning views. In the evenings, you can clearly hear the lively buzz from the Gate 3 performances, and at 9:30 PM, you're treated to the spectacular fireworks display from Discoveryland. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunrise in the morning.

VVerusha GovenderBayshore hotel was an amazing stay we stayed in the family suite and it met our expectations. Everything was clean and spacious, the breakfast was okay, they did t have much of a western spread but it was up to standards just the food was always cold. The location was great it was really close to Xinghai park and xinghai square. The only issue we had was the elevator I know the concept of the twin elevator was innovative but during peak time you would wait a good 5 to 10 min for the elevator. However the stay was great and I would definitely consider staying at bayshore hotel again.
SShenyangjinxuanya.Come check in at Dalian's internet-famous puppy Fimia's homestay~
The B&B is located at Dalian Fisherman's Wharf, directly opposite the sea. The first floor is a breakfast restaurant + coffee bar, and the second floor is a B&B. The overall accommodation is very retro and very photogenic.
The environment is super good. I stayed in a triple room for two nights and a quadruple room for one night. The price is fair and reasonable! I came before May Day so there weren't that many people.
The big bed in the room faces the sea, it has a duplex structure, dry and wet separation, clean bedding, and it is pet-friendly! ! ! I brought a kitten and a puppy. My dog is very well behaved and doesn't bark. The staff will also take care of the kittens and puppies.
Travel photography at the pier: I especially want to praise the travel photography! The retouching is super natural, I’m not even wearing any makeup! The photos you took of me look really good. I’ll give you five for free! Posting to Moments is especially chill
Service: The breakfast is very good, and the best way to describe it is clean! The wontons are freshly made by the old man, the noodles are all hand-rolled, the shrimp paste is especially delicious, and the Italian meat sauce is not bad either! I want to praise the coffee, the Americano and latte are very pure~

EE0108****A very memorable weekend trip. I booked a sea view garden room on Ctrip, and the front desk upgraded it to a sea view garden suite for free. It was a 180-degree unbeatable sea view. The afternoon tea snacks and fruits were of high quality. All the drinks in the small refrigerator were free, and the breakfast was also rich. After checking out, the hotel also gave us a gift. I have been to many places in China, and the Kowloon Bay Full Sea View Hotel left me with a very good impression. I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future. The hotel has an excellent geographical location, with one mountain and two seas, and is very close to the first mountain in southern Liaoning-Dahei Mountain. Across the road from the hotel is Tongniuling, which is surrounded by mountains and the sea, and the scenery is pleasant. In the colorful autumn, between the mountains and the sea, encountering this hotel is the most beautiful encounter!

KKaytodayI just got back from an amazing stay at Amano Hotel in Dalian, and I can’t recommend it enough! Being so close to Xinghai Beach was a game-changer—I loved starting my mornings with a stroll on the sand. The hotel itself felt really welcoming, with cozy rooms that made me feel right at home. The staff were really friendly, always ready to chat or offer tips on what to see in the area. There's usually sojourners who can speak English to help international tourists. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. I’m already planning my next visit!
NNiaomingzhijianThe environment is very good. The hotel is clean and tidy. The lady at the front desk is very nice and provides attentive service. The children I brought with me were also provided with children's slippers, toothbrushes and shower gel. It was very good. The service attitude and sound insulation were excellent. The American-style rooms are very high-end, the bathrooms are all brand-name, and the price/performance ratio is first-class. The hotel facilities are complete. I will come again. I am very satisfied!
