This hotel definitely deserves a great review! The scenery is beautiful, parking is convenient, and it's not far from the old town. It offers excellent value for money. It has all the amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel.
**Facilities:** Air conditioning, electric curtains, and a coffee machine are all available. The minibar included three drinks and three candies. Wi-Fi is provided, but it's very slow; you're better off using your mobile data. The decor is new and grand, though there was still a slight scent when we checked in.
**Hygiene:** Excellent.
**Environment:** Downstairs, there's a park and a Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient.
**Service:** Excellent.
The hotel's Spring Festival decorations seemed to block the main vehicle access, causing inconvenience for entering and exiting. If management truly considered the guest experience, they would at least choose times with less traffic for such arrangements. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, but there are few supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The reservations department showed a complete lack of awareness regarding their own issues (according to a self-proclaimed assistant department manager). When handling a lost guest request, they demonstrated a basic lack of service consciousness. On the other hand, the front desk staff were very proactive, responsible, and helpful, actively assisting guests with late check-out and document printing.

My experience at Quanzhou Hotel was truly excellent. It's an established five-star hotel with a grand feel, and the service and management were warm and attentive. The room facilities were well-maintained; I was lucky enough to get an upgraded room that looked quite new. Although the windows were locked, you could request to have them opened for better ventilation.
The hotel's proximity to West Street and Zhongshan Road is fantastic, so I explored them repeatedly. Being close to the attractions and having plenty of food options nearby was a huge plus. When I went hiking at Qingyuan Mountain and couldn't make it back for breakfast, I contacted the hotel, and they kindly prepared a package of bread, grains, milk, and fruit for me (as shown in image 4).
After arriving in Fuzhou and realizing I'd left a cultural souvenir at the hotel, I contacted them. They not only found it but also promptly arranged for SF Express delivery. I received it the very next morning, which I greatly appreciated. All in all, Quanzhou Hotel is genuinely great, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Quanzhou.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance of Bailuzhou Park and Yuandang Lake, offering a tranquil and pleasant environment filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers. However, the hotel facilities are dated, especially the TV, which I'd recommend upgrading soon. The service was great. A peculiar feature of the hotel is the abundance of mirrors – it's the most mirrored hotel I've ever stayed in, and I'm curious about the design philosophy behind it. My stay coincided with 'Bai Tian Gong,' the most important Hokkien celebration for the Jade Emperor's birthday. The hotel lobby even had offerings laid out, which gave us a taste of Hokkien customs. I must say, Xiamen and Taiwan are almost indistinguishable, from their food and customs to their local snacks – they're all identical. This was my third visit to Xiamen, and I explored some new places. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. It offers good value for money, and the breakfast was also quite nice.

This hotel truly understands what travelers need! The lobby surprisingly has a tobacco and tea shop, which is super convenient if you want to grab some souvenirs or emergency drinks and cigarettes – no need to run around looking for them. Even more thoughtful, there's a tea station, and the duty manager, Xiao Huang, served me a wonderfully fragrant jasmine tea. The staff are all incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place for my next trip!
This hotel is located by the Jiulong River, directly across from Zhangzhou Old Town. It offers the charm of the old city while providing a peaceful escape from the crowds. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's genuine care. The porter brought all our luggage to our room, and Zhang Jingyi at the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room and gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. The hotel breakfast, in particular, felt just like home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each dish to our table. Guests not only get to savor unique local flavors but also learn about the food, making for a truly rewarding experience.

The front desk staff was incredibly rude. When I was checking in, there was a male staff member who wouldn't even acknowledge me unless I spoke to him first. He didn't even say hello! He actually asked me, 'What do you want?!' We were a whole family with luggage, what else would we be doing at the front desk?! Are you crazy? In all my years of traveling, this is the worst front desk I've ever encountered. What's even more infuriating is that when we checked out, another gentleman was given a complimentary souvenir, but I wasn't! It's not about the cheap trinket itself; if I had to ask for it, I'd despise myself. But to be treated differently? Is it because I booked through Ctrip that they acted this way? This is the first time I've ever encountered such a disgusting hotel! They clearly look down on their customers! Honestly, everything else about the hotel was fine, but the front desk was absolutely repulsive.

The experience at InterContinental Quanzhou exceeded my expectations! As soon as I walked in, I was touched by the warm and thoughtful service; it felt incredibly welcoming. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade to a higher floor, and the view was clear and expansive, even better than the river view room I stayed in before. The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety, with both Chinese and Western options, all fresh and delicious. At night, the city and river views combined to create a fantastic ambiance. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, definitely worth checking out!

Traveling during the off-season 🏃 was incredibly comfortable!
This is an old-school state guesthouse, nestled against Dawang Peak, boasting a superb natural environment. The room layout was also very comfortable. The hotel grounds felt extensive enough for a half-day stroll, and a walk up the back hill was quite enjoyable. Plus, there's a cute little dog! 🐶

GGuest UserThis is an older five-star hotel, and the rooms are really spacious with unbeatable views. You can see Gulangyu Island right across. It's super close to the Eighth Market and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Getting anywhere from here is incredibly convenient. It definitely exceeded my expectations! I always prefer hotels with a great view from the room. The food was excellent too, with a wide variety of choices. Service was top-notch. All in all, choosing this hotel for my trip to Xiamen was truly beyond what I expected.
CChidaobaoThere was one staff member, 'Jingjing,' who particularly stood out. She was incredibly dedicated in her introductions and very good at solving problems, leaving a fantastic first impression of the hotel. When checking out, I encountered several housekeeping staff, and one lady in a black uniform was also very kind, repeatedly reminding us to call for the shuttle. I believe she might be a supervisor in that area. She even spoke Fuzhou dialect with my mother. I will definitely arrange future events here. I'm so satisfied that I wanted to write a bit more – these excellent frontline staff members are truly an asset and the management should definitely retain them.

KkobecissyThis hotel is amazing! You're pampered like a baby here. The hotel grounds are huge, but you don't have to worry about getting tired from walking. Each building has a button on the ground floor to call an electric cart. The staff will take you anywhere you want to go within the resort, and their attitude is excellent! What's worth mentioning is that there are several card-access gates connecting directly to the surrounding attractions and food streets, which is super convenient! It's a garden-style hotel with beautiful scenery throughout. Of course, other facilities like the swimming pool, gym, handicraft room, and personalized costume photography are all available too!
MM521513****A truly satisfying stay! The staff were all very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. The highlight for me was the hot springs – they were beautiful and left me feeling incredibly relaxed. There were also activities for kids and bamboo rafts to ride. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!
GGuest UserKicking off my Fujian trip during the Chinese New Year holiday, Xiamen was my third stop, and I chose to stay at the Marco Polo Hotel. I had a great experience here many years ago, so I decided to return after twelve years, and the experience was still excellent. The front desk lady upgraded me to an executive floor, and the hotel's facilities are very well maintained. The hygiene is excellent, truly meeting five-star hotel standards. The location is convenient, not far from the metro station, and the surroundings are lovely, right next to Yuandang Lake Park. Another pleasant experience, highly recommended!
AAprilblossomsGreat hotel with exceptional services.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. During our stay, we received remarkable services from the hotel staff beginning with the young Bellboy who greeted us on the day we arrived and thereafter. The front desk staff are friendly and professional; check-in was quick and easy, and especially Charis, who had patiently answered many questions that we had for Xiamen. We appreciated Lia, who helped us to get taxi by using her own phone with the local DiDi program and makes sure the taxi driver knows our destination. We also appreciated Alice from the dining room, who to cut and packed the fruits we brought from the market on the day we checked out. Last but not least was cleaned daily. We felt great when we saw a note from the housekeeper and found towels folded 🐘 on our bed one day and a swan on the next day.
HHuanhuanxiongI stayed at this hotel during the peak Chinese New Year holiday, and the staff were incredibly efficient and welcoming with check-in, check-out, and all other services. Their friendly attitude and willingness to help made me feel right at home. The breakfast was lavish, the room was spotless, spacious, and bright, offering a beautiful view of the sunrise. The bed was comfortable, and the facilities were comprehensive. The hotel's proximity to the beach and its lovely surroundings meant we could go '赶海' (collecting seafood/shells) in the mornings and evenings, which my child absolutely loved. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance.
