It’s a really nice hotel. The breakfast is great. However the location is a little bit awkward. Really far away from the metro and the bus is not reliable.
If you are using uber to get around the city. It should be all right.
The district of the hotel is okay. Sometimes you feel sketchy when you walk alone, but if you choose the different route with more people. It feels all right.

The hotel was very good !!! Super indic the hotel team of the super gentle and well-functioning breakfast, drinks and petiscos in the pool tdo very good tb and out the rooms all clean and smelling. You can certainly come either in couple or in family worth it very much and close to everything you can do on the night several well-legal restaurants I still had the surprise of my new with this decor in the room ❤️
I came to check in around 21:00 and it was quiet and quiet, the attendant wasn't very nice but I understand his side, it was a girlfriend day and it was already at the end of the day, and then I picked up the lift and went to the room. When he arrived there was everything well organized and clean, good shower, quite strong, the bathroom makes a noise due to the pipes, but nothing that disturbs when closing the door, air conditioning ok also, only negative point was the fridge being empty, but they leave It is clear when they deliver the paper at the reception that you need to ask for the drink and that if you prefer, you can bring drinks.
The breakfast was delicious, served in 19th floor with a variety of things and everything was fresh. (I don't know how it is if served in the room).
We did not take advantage of the pool, it was written again on the paper that Monday was a day of maintenance, we gave it to chance.
Finally, I recommend the hotel, I had no problems.
I found Ibis New America by chance on Google trying to find some place in Rio de Janeiro to go to Rock In Rio. I booked the time for the best value.
I didn't think it would be such a perfect location for the event! Besides being a meeting point, the site's infrastructure is excellent, offered a coffee with numerous delicious options and completely responded to what we needed. I would like to congratulate especially the receptionist Lucas who has done a wonderful service and has done everything possible to keep us from losing the transport!
The beautiful shelters, in addition to the good cleaning, the afternoon reception team are super performing, make you feel welcome.I don't remember the name of the afternoon receptionist with clear, super sympathetic hair. The breakfast team always very well performed and I loved the coffee, the second time I host super recommended . And I will come back soon .

IIza M.RainbowI’d describe this hotel as utilitarian. No decor or warmth at all. The common areas are spacious and quite bare.Table and chairs at the restaurant are plain brown wood, The lobby is sparsely furnished with some worn , drab and very uncomfortable seats. Bathrooms are the same. Just the very bare essentials, not even a box of tissue paper ( and thin toilet paper) We travelled long hours, arrived at 22:00 looking forward to a good shower …not to be. We were up for a bad start. There was just a trickle of water not enough to bathe or properly brush teeth either. That could have been a whole area problem as we were told that water pressure can sometimes drop in some areas of the city. We changed rooms , water pressure wasn’t much better the next day either, the water flow improved just a little and remained as such the whole week. We had paid for 5 nights and ended up staying as the city was packed that week . To go looking for another hotel during the G20 summit which Rio was hosting that week of November 2024 would not be an easy task.
On the positive side, staff was pleasant and accommodating, bed was comfortable and from our perspective, the breakfast buffet was the best feature of this hotel offering abundant variety of food to meet all tastes- cereal, fruits and cheeses, cold cuts, several hot savory breakfast dishes - incl. some Brazilian regional dishes as well, a huge selection of breads, cakes, good coffee, and more. Very satisfying. Including breakfast in the booking is highly recommended.
The good fare offered at the hotel at lunch and dinner not good at all. However, there are also three of four restaurants lined up on a small stretch within 5 min walking distance of the hotel- one of them is a very good authentic European Portuguese cuisine and wine. Aprox. US$ 52 for a meal for two. On the same cluster of shops there is a well established Brazilian cuisine restaurant with a good menu where one can eat well for anything between US$ 12 to US$ 15 and a steak house similar to the Australian Outback steak house.
There are also other eateries snd convenience shops, a pharmacy on the same stretch ( 5 min walk ffrom the hotel) including a 24 hr laundromat where one can expect to wash and dry a load for about
US$ 7.
As for location, this hotel is not close to the most well known districts of Rio - places like Copacabana, Ipanema , Leblon - but Barra da Tijuca is a special area in itself and arguably has the best beach in town. The hotel is just a 10 - 15 min taxi ride to Barra Shopping- the largest and best shopping mall in the whole state of Rio de Janeiro where one can find anything, including restaurants (recommend trying Jappa all you can eat Japanese food spread for US$ 26 as in Nov 2024).
On the whole , when compared with the fashionable and pricey districts of Copacabana , Ipanema Leblon this hotel is good value for money . I’d stay there again if they fixed the shower situation b’cause this feature matters for me.
AAnonymous UserGreat accommodation! I like staying at the Riale, especially because of its location in Catete, close to the subway and the Museu da República, shops, restaurants, pharmacies and the Flamego park, which is a wonderful tourist attraction in Rio de Janeiro. However, I still think the hotel needs to be renovated. The daily rate does not match the accommodations offered.
The cleanliness is excellent and the breakfast is reasonable. However, when the room key card did not open the door, I had to walk back to the reception through the huge, hot hallways. I stayed in a room with an air conditioner so old that the noise did not let me sleep well. I shared the room with a friend and we could not use the bathroom in private because the bathroom door did not close.
The staff is very friendly, but they forgot some cosmetics in the shower and did not even contact me to let me know, which I thought was rude.
HHelcio Fidelis Lopes PequenoExcellent accommodation, breakfast and location. Close to the metro station. Attentive reception. Everything is very clean. I highly recommend it.
RRangziyouzhifengyongyuanchuifuThe room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The water pressure of the bathroom tap is low and the breakfast is rich. The hotel is conveniently located, with many restaurants around. It is 70 meters away from the subway entrance. It is a recommended budget hotel for traveling in Rio de Janeiro
QQingdajiangjunHotel health is very general, there is long hair on the bathroom wall, there is a mineral water bottle under the corner of the bed, the surrounding environment is general, it is not recommended to go out alone at night, there is a problem in the hotel, the staff will be enthusiastic to help, thank them very much. The disadvantage is that this time I lived on the 5th floor, the wifi was very poor and the room could not work. The room card is invalid almost every day, and you need to go downstairs to do the card again. The towels and bath towels are very old and slightly yellowed.
OOstocIt’s a really nice hotel. The breakfast is great. However the location is a little bit awkward. Really far away from the metro and the bus is not reliable.

RRicardoHotel meets the basic requirements, but it is very well located, staff are very attentive, cleanliness is ok, I didn't use the pool, but it was very clean, the view from up there is beautiful.
AAnonymousPros:
- The staff was friendly and helpful
- Easy Check-In
- Clean
- Good & Safe location
- COLD A/C
- Fresh sheets and towels daily
Cons:
- Bad Wifi (needed to use cellular data the whole trip)
- Only one power outlet by the bed
- The evaluator on the 9th floor did not work properly
- The shower ran out of hot water quickly
EEllenThe stay was wonderful, however, we had some problems at the checkout time concerning the shift of consumption payment in the room. According to the receptionist, I had to leave the value of R$100 if there was some consumption in the room, be charged at the end of the stay. However, at the time of Checkout the transfer was not made at that time because they said that the card was not the same as the check in (but it was) and when confirming the room consumption, it was said that we had consumed a cooling in the pack that was not available. Nothing was charged about this cold, but we need to sign a ”term” that we did not consume. Taking this countertime, at the most, the stay was great!
GGlenio GarciaI bought the four-day breakfast package from the trip and was informed by the hotel that the meal is not included in the daily. I would like the trip to answer me about this situation, because I have already tried to talk to the company without success .
