The front is renovated very nice but the room is not so. The room is not sound proof inside and huge noise of opening and closing doors from the hallway is always heard, more than 5 mosquitos met in the room, bathroom had strange smell. Breakfast was not bad but very limited choice and most of the items just taste bland.

A bit hard to find. It would definitely help if they'd put the correct location in Google maps. But other than that. Everything was great. Breakfast is great btw.
The facilities were all great, and the staff were very friendly. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast selection was a bit limited! The food at the restaurant in the evening was also delicious, but it's a shame they stop serving at 10 PM.
The bedding was clean, and the room condition was decent.
There was a small bug in the toilet, but that was quickly taken care of. ^^
Other than that, the breakfast was decent, and there was a gym right in front of the restaurant, which was nice.
I'd definitely stay here again on my next business trip.
Very good hotel room is very quiet, the bathroom is big, very convenient, especially thanks to the hotel's Chinese-speaking young lady and a little handsome guy, very enthusiastic, can provide good help, thank you
This was my second time staying at this hotel. Everything was great – clean, and the staff was friendly. They did implement a slightly odd rule this time where you have to leave your passport at the reception for immigration purposes, but oh well.
Since it is a general residential area, transportation is not that good and shopping is difficult. It has facilities that are useful when using the airport in the early morning or late at night, but it is not recommended for stays of more than 2 nights. There is a local night market 5 minutes away, so it is good for a day to look around or buy food.

GGuest UserAs a solo female traveler, I truly appreciated the hotel’s professional travel information and thoughtful safety reminders. They made me feel well-supported throughout my entire stay in Yangon. The staff were always kind, attentive, and ready to help whenever I had questions about transportation or places to visit. Thanks to their guidance, everything went smoothly and I felt very safe exploring the city on my own.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay in Yangon.

CChris PabI had originally planned to stay for two nights, but I needed to cancel my second night. The staff were very understanding and accommodating, which I really appreciated.
The room was simple and functional. There was nothing particularly luxurious, but it had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious considering the size of the room. I also enjoyed the view from the room.
Breakfast was good, and the hotel itself was very clean and well organized. The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. Even when there was a language barrier, they made a genuine effort to communicate and help in any way they could. Their friendliness and professionalism made a very positive impression.
Overall, this is a clean, practical hotel with excellent service, and I would recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable stay in Yangon.
MMaksimPretty varied impressions of the hotel.
The hotel is located in the city center, no big problems to get anywhere.
Most of the staff is friendly, but the problem is that only one of the staff speaks good English. Also the owner of the place speaks English.
It happens that under one type of room with one name there can be 2 types of rooms: you can easily be given a room without windows, or you can be given a smoky room.
I do not recommend to take breakfast, as it is rather poor for this price and the choice of dishes is not great.
Do not think of giving your clothes to the laundry. A few things were in disrepair afterwards.
Overall, a normal hotel with a good location and friendly staff, if you are willing to sometimes long to explain your needs or fight for the paid level.

PP.atricia_a.The accommodation is clean, exactly as in the picture. I had to check out at 5 a.m. so I didn't have breakfast. But the cuteness of this hotel is that it prepared snacks for me 😊🙏❤️ I am very grateful. Thank you Myanmar Life Hotel 🏨 ❤️🇲🇲 Thank you kaa 🙏🙏🙏
AAnonymous UserBalmi Hotel is located in the heart of the city, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was reasonably clean, offering a comfortable stay.
However, I did encounter an issue that needs attention. I spotted two small cockroaches during my stay. While this did not ruin my experience, it needs to improve pest control measures. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall quality of the stay.
Despite this, Balmi has a lot to offer and could easily be a top choice for travelers once this issue is resolved.
EEvgenii KonovalovThe hotel is, of course, very old. There are some downsides, such as non-working sockets or lamps that don't turn on. On the plus side, the rooms are very spacious. But the main advantage, which outweighs even the downsides, is the hotel's location. It's a 19-minute walk to the Shwedagon weather station. There are a couple of shops and a cafe next to the hotel that works even when the lights go out. There's an improvised market where you can buy fruit. The bus stop is also 20 meters from the hotel.
MMakkiesOur stay was short but the Holly Hotel is very close to the bus station and 20 minutes from the airport. The staff is very helpful! It is a little sad that you can not open a window in the room as we don't like to use AC.
The hotel is also close to the Terminal M shopping mall with Ocean supermarket.
