I went to this Starry Sky B&B during the summer vacation. Isn’t it magical? There is a small Crescent Lake next to the accommodation area. It is so beautiful. The room facilities are also complete. I slept very comfortably. The experience is really good. It is a separate area. , it is very quiet at night, no motorcycles will pass by. The most important thing is that the starry sky over there is really beautiful, the field of vision is wide, visible to the naked eye, there is no light pollution, and the effect is excellent. You can also set off fireworks there if conditions permit. , very beautiful

The hotel environment is elegant, and the lobby gives people a feeling of being at home. The front desk is very warm, the room is clear, the bed is very soft, and the parking factory is more convenient. I recommend everyone to stay at Renhe Hotel!
Hanting Hotel (Dazhong Lane Branch, Zhangye Road Pedestrian Street, Lanzhou)
9.6/5592 Reviews
This is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators. Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back. As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers! One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best! Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

The hostel is just down the canal a little from the centre of the city, an easy walk. The bus to and from the railway station is less than 500 metres away (ignore what Google maps tells you, they'll take you to a toilet in the wrong direction, use the Trip.com map, and click through to Google maps to get it right). Go a couple of km the other way and you're at the Dunhuang Museum. There is plenty of space downstairs to hang out, they sell a few cold drinks, and might even make coffee - they have the equipment). The rooms are on the second and third floor, no elevator. My room, #304, was quite rustic and not very big, but had a small table and adequate bed. The shower was just far enough away from the toilet that the floor there stayed sort of dry. Air con did struggle a bit with the 40 degree heat.

A friend came to Dunhuang to camp, which was highly recommended to me. It was the most interesting day of the Northwest trip. Not only did we have accommodation, but we also had dinner and activities. I was very happy.

Greetings from our thrilling cycling journey that began in Xi’an and unfolded towards Dun Huang. Our lodging arrangements, thoughtfully made via Trip.com for August 24-27, 2023 unveiled an exceptional experience that we’re eager to share. The establishment, overseen by the affable Padma and Dorje, left an indelible mark on our sojourn. Nestled in the heart of Dun Huang, the inn effortlessly harmonizes ******* influences with the comforts of a welcoming abode. The spaciousness and impeccable maintenance of our accommodations, coupled with the inviting reading/working enclave, afforded us both tranquility and productivity. This inviting setup was made even more special by the attentive presence of Padma and Dorje. Their hospitalities proved to be a highlight of our stay, as they not only welcomed us warmly but also lent their expertise to enhance our exploration of Dun Huang’s treasures. Their guidance led us to uncover remarkable places that enriched our travel narrative. It is with utmost sincerity that we endorse this establishment to fellow travelers seeking both comfort and cultural immersion.
Nanshe Inn

This time we booked a suite with one king bed and two twin beds. This is a B&B that was renovated from a self-built house. The owner is very enthusiastic. The next day we slept until we woke up naturally before going to the Guancheng Scenic Area. Turn right after exiting the inn. , you can reach the Guancheng Great Wall Museum after a 10-minute stroll, and then continue 100 meters further to reach the entrance of the scenic spot. There is no need to go to the visitor center again to take the sightseeing bus (but the sightseeing bus is free). The room decoration is pretty good, but the bathroom is a bit hard to describe... A few comments and suggestions: The first is that there is no hand soap/soap in the bathroom; the second is that the toiletries are placed in the box on the wall, which is not very clean, and the toothbrushes, shampoo, and body soap are still the ones used in small hotels many years ago. , like B&Bs cannot have the same configuration standards as branded hotels, can you choose a brand that is easy to use, with large bottles for home use? The quality of the people is still quite high. There should be no customers taking bottles home with them anymore, right? 😅; The third is that the air conditioner in the twin room is like a tractor and is very loud. On the contrary, the electric heater in the other room is surprisingly easy to use, but if it is summer, how will that room be cooled? The fourth is that the door of the room is very thin. , but there was no sound insulation problem the night we checked in; fifthly, the hair dryer in the room, uh uh uh uh. Small details like this to improve customer happiness do not cost a lot of money, so it is recommended that the boss be willing to invest in them. The key point is worthy of praise - this room comes with breakfast, and the breakfast tastes great. Cold vegetables, steamed buns, cakes, white eggs, millet porridge, corn, sweet potatoes, and sweet ginseng fruit... everything is available In short, the breakfast is 100 points and the service is 100 points. The only shortcoming is that the facilities need to be improved and the bathroom hygiene needs to be improved.
Tianzhu Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tianzhu Hotel, located just an hour away from Lanzhou, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The spacious and well-appointed rooms were immaculately clean and provided all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The on-site parking was also a plus, making it easy to come and go as I pleased. But what really set Tianzhu Hotel apart was the great staff and fantastic breakfast. The food was fresh, delicious, and varied, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. I also appreciated the hotel owner's personal touch, as he went out of his way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Tianzhu Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay near Lanzhou. The staff, accommodations, and breakfast were all top-notch, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Datang Food Street
There are many restaurants around and the bus stop is a short walk. Easy to catch a taxi. Staff is helpful despite our language barriers, we managed to communicate with translator apps. Hostel is relatively clean but can be improved and more organized. For example, the faucets and mirrors need to be cleaned more thoroughly. There aren’t toilet tissues.
