This small hotel in Guilin was an absolute delight and made our trip even more enjoyable. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the Li River, the famous Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and local shops. Despite being so central, the hotel is tucked away in a quiet street, making it easy to relax after a busy day exploring. The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed: good air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi, and cozy beds. What truly made the experience stand out was the amazing service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. They spoke excellent English, gave us great local tips, and helped us arrange boat tours and transportation around Guilin and Yangshuo. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the staff even accommodated our early departure with a takeaway option. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a warm and welcoming base in Guilin, this hotel is a perfect choice. The combination of its fantastic location and outstanding service makes it a true hidden gem!

Very good value for money and convenient transportation.

I chose Shangkeyou among many hotels, and I was not disappointed. Hotels under unified management are different. The hygiene is very clean, there is no peculiar smell in the room, and I slept until 7:30 in the morning. Thank you 🙏 Because I checked out, I didn't take any photos of the room, and the bedding was very white.

Good location of 150m from Train Station, in commercial shop lots area, thus 2-3 mins walk to mini marts, eateries etc. 5-6 mins DiDi ride to scenic spots, Park ,Historic Old walking street, malls, museum, night markets etc, or best is eBike around as weather is great and good road conditions and traffic to eBike around! Hotel is well maintain, super clean, smell fresh, keycard access for security, lift to each floor. Hotel room is comfortable, hot water shower, water dispenser at lobby, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee, strong wifi signal, TV with local tv box channels. Host is helpful and room is great pricing for foreigner-guests. Safe choice for Solo female backpacker definitely value for money probably one of my best stays in Guanxi province. Highly recommend!

Guilin's peak tourist period is actually a good alternative. First of all, walk down the North Station for 5 minutes. The whole neighborhood is full of various hotels, mixed with convenience stores and restaurants, very nostalgic. The room is clean, there is no smell, very quiet, you can open the window, hot water hot air conditioning, there is an elevator, the basic living conditions are satisfied, and the price is quite high.

Easy to find. Kind staff. Rooms spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. Wifi and hot water is strong. Aircon works. Extended my stay.

The inn is not far from Guilin Station, and is not far from the pedestrian street, East-West Lane, and Elephant Trunk Hill. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the bus station, which is convenient for travel. The inn is a bit like a self-built house, there is no elevator, and the owner will help carry the suitcase upstairs. The decoration is a bit old. The room facilities are basically complete. The room hygiene is basically clean. The bed is a bit hard. The air conditioning hot air comes quickly. Hot water is available 24 hours a day, and the amount of hot water is large. Overall, the cost performance is very high.

Going home a little later and not wanting to disturb the family to rest, I chose to stay at this hotel at 3 o'clock in the middle of the night. The boss is very enthusiastic and very powerful. In order to let me rest well, he specially helped to delay the check-out until 3 pm. When I checked in, I also upgraded the room type and the experience was full! The ice cream next to the front desk on the first floor can be taken for free, and the details are full. The most detailed place I think is the charging cable on the side of the bed. Many hotels are doing the kind of scanning code charging. The power is small and the charging is slow. The charge is also outrageous. The free charging cable set by this store is definitely worth giving full marks. The room is big enough and the distribution is reasonable, and it is worthy of the designer's origin.

My friend was traveling by high-speed rail, so he chose this store near the train station, which is very close to the train station. The price/performance ratio is high. The room is warm and clean, and it is very comfortable to live in. There are many restaurants nearby, and it is also convenient to rent a car nearby.
