LuobinI'm a british traveller with a Chinese wife. I'm mostly located in China and I speak the language.
Hunchun is near to Russia and most of the guests were Russian.
Some of the staff can speak a few words of Russian but not much. And no English!
The Hotel itself is modern, clean and very technically equipped.
The toilet seat is heated, and it flushes itself. The shower took a bit of working out, but once I had mastered it, it was possibly the best shower I'd had in years.
The shower is partitioned from the rest of the toilet, which isn't always the case in China.
There's an AI person who greets you in Chinese when you enter, but we couldn't work out what the purpose of this was. It didn't understand English and my wife couldn't get a lot of sense out of it in Chinese.
But everything else worked, including the curtains which opened and closed remotely.
The TV was large and of an excellent quality. The bed was firm, but not hard like some Chinese beds can be, and we slept very comfortably.
The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. My wife and I are diabetic, so we avoid sweet things.
Although there was plenty of meat, vegetables and eggs to keep us going for the day, there was only sweetened coffee, sweetened milk tea and I think sweetened soy milk, in the drinks machine.
We managed to get plain hot water out of the machine, but there was only paper cups provided, which was a disappointment considering the price we'd paid and the excellent standard of everything else.
I would suggest a coffee machine and milk available at breakfast, and maybe a hot water urn and some tea bags.
And some proper cups!
I think a place of such good quality deserves a bit more of a variety of food. It was OK, but not great. Disappointing.
For people on a low budget (like we were) one should bear in mind that the location isn't very central and it's a bus ride and a 25 minute walk, from the high speed rail station.
Taxis are not very expensive but we don't have much money so we got local buses which are not very frequent.
So I consider the location to be the most disappointing aspect of this hotel.
Everything else was either fine, or excellent.
We would definitely consider going there again in the future.
It was also the only hotel that has allowed us the late checkout which I've been promised by Trip.com.
Thank you!

JongaI recently stayed at Hanting Hotel during my trip to [insert city]. While the hotel provided me with a comfortable stay, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired.
Firstly, Hanting Hotel's location was superb. It was conveniently situated in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible to popular attractions and public transportation. This was a major plus point for me, as I could explore the city effortlessly.
Upon arrival, the reception staff greeted me warmly and check-in was smooth and efficient. The hotel's lobby exuded a modern and clean atmosphere, which was quite welcoming. Furthermore, the hotel's security measures were commendable, ensuring a safe environment for all guests.
My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly.
The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience.
In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort.
One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff.
Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. However, improvements in sound insulation, room cleanliness, and inclusion of additional room amenities would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Guest UserLike this hotel, I will write a good review for free. It is really cost-effective. This time I went to Yanji for a business trip. His facilities are very complete. The rooms are also beautifully decorated. The facilities are very good. The bathroom is dry and wet. Separate, projection, and the price is also favorable. Everyone must live here when you come to Yanji. The main parking is free and the parking space is convenient. Not far from the net red wall Yanda. If you see this comment when you pick a cost-effective hotel, you don’t have to pick it directly. It’s not good to follow up with me below.

Guest UserThis is my second time staying in Erdaobaihe Town. Last time, I stayed at the more secluded Jingya Villa, but this time I'm in town, and the styles are quite different.
Right across the street is the riverside green belt of Erdaobaihe, which is perfect for walking the dog. A short walk south leads to the Chinese Merganser Park, which is a bit busier, but thankfully, people there, whether old or young, aren't afraid of dogs.
The guesthouse is located in an older residential area, and the only downside is that parking can be a bit challenging. However, for both days I was there, the owner and housekeeper went out of their way to find me the closest parking spot, making it convenient for me to get my luggage.
When the owner's family saw we had a dog, they proactively invited us to let our dogs play together. Unfortunately, my super introverted dog gets very nervous and wary around all dogs, big or small. Plus, there was a hilarious mix-up when we first checked in, and my dog ran into the owner's room, leading to a little doggie squabble, haha!🤣
The housekeeper's service was also very attentive and responsive. They were always available via WeChat.
The room felt very homey. On this trip, from Shanghai to Inner Mongolia, to Mohe, and then to Changbai Mountain, this was the most relaxing stay. It's the combination of the layout, cleanliness, and facilities that gives you this feeling. Dogs aren't allowed in the scenic area, so I spent a day playing with my dog in the room and around the guesthouse, and it truly felt like being at home – relaxing and enjoyable.
There are plenty of food options around the guesthouse, making it very convenient for both takeout and dining in.
The summer weather in Changbai Mountain is truly delightful; the temperature is very comfortable, and it's not even too hot in the sun. On the day my family went up to Tianchi, they were incredibly lucky to have clear skies and see the lake. My fondness for Changbai Mountain continues to grow, and I'll definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area.

Marsha MarshaI had a great time in Yánjí since I planned a lot of border excursions. I can speak both Korean and Chinese comfortably to navigate this region, which is also known as the Third Korea. The location of this place was great since it was in the city center across from Yanji University. (I was assigned room 1206.)
I'm not sure which photos they're using for advertising, but my room looked far more beat up and outdated. I also killed a lot of small cockroaches that were roaming around the kitchenette area. Again, this was not a big deal for me since they weren't ginormous, but one huge cockroach did appear one day near the bathroom. It's one thing for the room to look somewhat different from the advertised photos, but please at least keep the space much cleaner. (The laundry machine was bonus, but I had to buy laundry soap next door at the convenience store. This should have been provided considering there was an empty soap box on the floor next to the machine.) The reason why I booked this place was to do frequent laundry rather than stay at a hotel...
I traveled from NYC, so it wasn't like I was an average Chinese tourist from a domestic region. This was my first visit to China since 1996.05 and I used my 10-year China visa for the first time since I applied back in 2017.08.
Note: I checked out the other rooms on the floor and they were much nicer than what I booked. I'm guessing those were listed on WeChat and the less attractive rooms are listed on here, etc.
After I checked out by 12:00 noon, I stored my luggage next door at the convenience store for a few hours. They charged CN¥5/per hour… I paid CN¥15 since I knew 3 hours was all I needed before my flight.

Highly recommended! I discovered this treasure hotel by accident. I am one of the first guests to check in. The beautiful lady at the front desk has a great service attitude. The environment of the hotel and the room is clean and tidy. Basically, it is as smart as the introduction. The most important thing is the bed! bed! bed! When I placed the order, I didn't notice that it was a zero-pressure bed. As a senior patient with spondylosis, I had a full night's sleep. The most important thing is that the price is not expensive, and several attractions are nearby. You can just go for a walk. The hotel rooftop is also very unique. You can take photos and check in with the scenery. It is very cost-effective. When I checked out, I asked how to become a member. There is no need to charge money. , it’s free, and you’ll get discounts when you book a room for yourself and a friend later. There are pictures and the truth...

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful.
There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead.
Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming.
We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch.
There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful.
What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture.
Will definitely be back

Cris R.I arrived so early in this hotel that the boss was still asleep. It was easy to locate this hotel if you book a Didi ride from Changchun Railway Station.
Because he was still asleep and didn't hear me entering the lobby, I had to contact Trip and a customer service representative was quick to help me out. Long story short, I was able to leave my luggage and use the bathroom of one of the rooms before I headed out for my one-day Changchun adventure. I visited the former site of the Changchun Film Studio and the Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo.
I had a truly interesting day. I usually take the subway wherever I go but for Changchun, since I only had a day, I chose to take Didi. It was affordable and convenient and the hotel was within easy reach from the spots I enjoyed.
This property is located in an area where there are local eateries and shops so no need to worry about food and drinks. I found a local eatery next to it that served affordable yet delicious dishes and I can easily rank it as one of my favorite meals in northeastern China.
Book this hostel when you're in Changchun. I paid RMB 50 for this room for a one-night stay.

The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hotel is also very close to Genting SkyAvenue; just downstairs, you'll find a food street, which is super convenient for guests. It's also within walking distance of Genting SkyWorlds.
