I took my mother to travel to Yanji while the children were at school. The price of Yunduo B&B was reasonable and the location was convenient, so I booked four nights. The following is my long-winded review, I hope it can help you:
Room environment: The room is large and there is a lot of space for luggage. The bathroom and toilet are separated from wet and dry, and can be used by two people at the same time. We like the big and comfortable bed the most. There are two pillows with different softness and thickness. I, a patient with cervical spondylosis, also slept on a comfortable bed. It relieves the fatigue of the journey; the air conditioner is very powerful; the hot water of the water heater is enough for one person to use in this cooling season, and the second person needs to wait for half an hour if he wants to wash; watching movies on the large projection screen is very enjoyable, and there are many movies to choose from , no need to pay yourself. The B&B provides Adolf's shower mousse and shampoo, and you need to prepare your own conditioner; it provides a hair dryer, curling iron, nail clippers, disposable cotton slippers, disposable bath towels and towels, a small refrigerator with a freezer layer, etc., etc. There is also a washing machine and laundry detergent for use in the road, which is very considerate and thoughtful.
Surrounding aspects: 1. A 3-minute walk downstairs is the West Market, which is very wonderful for tourists who like the local life atmosphere. We visited it in the morning and afternoon. The row of shops on the south side outside the West Market is also worth visiting. After we buy things here, we can directly find a courier company in the market and send them in ice-packed foam boxes without having to take them home ourselves (we sent 3 items here) - Ordinary express delivery of a 4kg ice pack costs about 30+ yuan); 2. From here, a taxi to the floating market, internet celebrity wall, and several bridges with beautiful night views costs about 5-7 yuan (because my mother has inconvenient legs and feet, So give priority to taking a taxi). It costs about 20 yuan to go to Maoershan and 18 yuan to the airport. Basically, we take orders for a dozen (we caught up with the rare State Day when we came and watched the drone show and fireworks that night. It was almost impossible to get a taxi, so we walked several kilometers back to the B&B, and my mother’s heart and legs were broken); 3. There is Han Zhengshen Chicken Soup 2 minutes away. We think their chicken tastes better than Master Zhang’s, and Master Zhang’s ginseng soup The chicken soup tastes better than Hanzheng's), and there is Xingdou Restaurant in 5 minutes' walk (their food is very large, so be careful if there are a few people, the two of us ordered the food for five people, and we almost cried), There is a 7-8 minute walk to the En Ping Guan restaurant where you can eat honey-potted pork (it also provides simple breakfast). There are also several small shops nearby, as well as some restaurants and cafes that have not yet been explored.
Unexpected episode: On the first day we stayed, we met families with children next door and across the street, making a lot of noise during the day. The boss immediately proposed a room change plan for us. We wanted to observe it before making a decision. That night, these families kept their doors open to coax their babies. It was difficult for my mother and I to fall asleep. During this period, we kept in communication with the owner of the B&B. The owner went to remind the residents with the children, but the children were not useful if adults reminded them. Finally, we struggled until twelve o'clock. . My mother didn't sleep well that night, tossing and turning. The next morning she communicated with the boss to find a better deal. The boss happily said that he had already prepared another room for us that was not next to other rooms and was waiting for us to move there. He also prepared a small apology gift for us. We felt that the boss was very sincere. Living in such a cost-effective B&B, some small shortcomings can be tolerated. The B&B is in an old building, so the wall panels are thin and the sound insulation is average. We can understand these. If you want a more luxurious and quiet environment, you can add more A few hundred to stay in a hotel.
We like Yanji very much. Whether it’s the extremely clean streets, the specialty food on the street, the fireworks-filled markets and shops, or the locals who are friendly to tourists, they all make us want to come to Yanji countless times.
