2-Star Hotels in Western Region, Iceland

We added bed linens with additional charges but then we need to install it ourselves. We are already tired travel from far and setting the bedlinen ourselves is unacceptable. For the men's shared bathroom( not the toilet), the floor is full of dirt, without slippers it is very bad experience. I was showering with naked feet because I only travel with shoes. As there's a short distance from room to the bathroom that need to step through murt, other traveller slippers also became dirty and just walk into shower area with slippers on. There's plenty of space for shared kitchen which is awesome, but the auto door lock made it very inconvenient for a single person that is in middle of cooking and need to open door for partner, because 1 room is only given with 1 set of keys. I did not expect that the full windowed view of waterfall is only for ordering meal, oherwise I would rather spend 1 meal there for the scenery, sadly I missed the awesome breakfast.

A little further out from Borgarnes but it’s a nice quiet place. It’s very cute and had everything needed during the stay. The breakfast had a large variety but pretty simple—still a good spread though no continuous restocks through breakfast time. There’s only stairs to get up to the second floor in the main building. The common area/lobby was very nice and cutely decorated. I greatly appreciated the various board games provided and we spent the night playing, laughing, and relaxing after a long day. Overall a clean place! Staff were very friendly and nice too!

This lovingly furnished accommodation is in a prime location, clean, and easily accessible. It has a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The furnishings are charmingly hand-picked from ”Grandma's time,” giving it a very special character! Our room was large and spacious and contained everything you need for a comfortable stay!

The house was not missing any details, shoes, jackets for if we were cold. Apart from the kitchen, I had another ”zone” with Nespresso coffee shop next to and silences,books,... It is noted that the house is prepared with ”mimo” so that we feel happy. To improve towels that were already too used, that is, clean.

Very warm homestay, really like a warm time back to my hometown, the furnishings are also very distinctive, the room is clean and tidy, the living room kitchen is really good 👍🏻

My wife and I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, full of large rooms, and a cubicle similar to the living room, and the sofa is a sofa bed, so if there are 3-4 people, it is no problem; you can see the church directly from the window. The room is completely slippers, very clean! The kitchen on the 1st floor has complete ovens, gas stoves and other kitchen equipment to use! There is a parking lot nearby and parking is very convenient.

A good hotel to see Aurora in western Iceland. Each container is glass on one side, so you can warmly observe the Aurora in the room. The location is a bit out of order, so the cost performance seems to be very good.

A great house, at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, super beautiful. Driving to Church Hill for 5 minutes, I saw the northern lights at night, The house is very clean and can cook. I also saw a rice cooker.

The four of us opened two double rooms, the room was clean with kitchen equipment, no breakfast, the manager was enthusiastic, you could watch the Northern Lights, the type of bed and breakfast
