WestopiaFantastic location and large common area, with inclusive breakfast and a welcome drink at their downstairs bar! The domitory is clean with all the facilities you would need, and the staff are all very nice! There are hot water in both the shower and the sink, which I really appreciate. If they could provide hair-dryer in the dorms it would be perfect, right now you can only borrow one from the reception, and you might not br in luck if someone else has taken it.

Guest UserI stayed at Pensao França Hostel and overall had a good experience. The hostel is clean, although the room size is quite small, which is typical for backpackers. They provide both small and large towels, as well as body soap and hand soap.
There was a slight urine smell when I first arrived, but it disappeared after the bathroom was used. The bathroom has a shower with both hot and cold water available. The room is also equipped with a fan.
A microwave and an electric kettle are available for shared use on the second floor. The hostel has three floors and no elevator. The owner lives on the second floor and is very kind and friendly to talk to.
Since the hostel is located near restaurants and bars, there can be some noise from outside. However, once the windows are closed and especially when you are tired, it is not too disturbing.
The location is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of Porto city center.

It’s far from everything. No groceries stores or any nearby restaurants. There is a mall but you have to take the bus to get there. Location is not really ideal. Be prepared to take Uber to get to the attractions and it’s not really economical if you’re on a budget.
Room is fine for a single occupant. Toilet, sink and bath are all separted which I liked (Japanese style). Overall, the hotel is clean. Breakfast area is too small. On the first day, only one coffee machine was working. Very few selections and same all throughout my stay. You better have your breakfast early otherwise it gets really crowded and no available seats.
This is the cheapest I could find in Porto that’s within the budget but considering I had to take Uber to get to the center, better spend more that’s within the city.

SSparrowzThis place is so relaxing to stay in! It’s a super nice little cafe with the rooms in the back through locking doors for easy access and security. The service is mostly seen outside your room as there isn’t much to be serviced inside, either way they were very friendly and helpful with menus in different languages and all that. The facilities for our room were all you needed, our “bunks” being cubby’s in the wall with lots of space and a locking compartment below for bags or valuables. The bathroom is tight compared to what I was used to in Canada, but it has your toilet, sink, and shower. What more do you need? Lastly the food was very very good, this was our first stay on our trip from Canada so maybe it’s normal here but it is so fresh and simply tasted awesome! Highly recommend!

It was exactly what we were looking for! The room was basic, but very clean and staff was nice/helpful. Location was great. Also they had so many water stations which was so handy. We plan to return to Porto and will definitely be staying here!

nao51I stayed in a twin room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was great. They provide a hairdryer and towels. You can also watch Netflix and Amazon Prime. The shower pressure was good, and the heating worked well. There wasn't a kettle in the room, but I used the shared kitchen. The location is excellent, and I'd love to stay again. The free breakfast included bread, ham, cheese, juice, and a coffee machine. The muffins were also delicious.

YPLIt was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.

This is a formally registered hotel with a certain history. The location is good, not far from the subway station. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. The rooms are fairly large. There is an elevator. The light switch design is somewhat inconvenient. There is a TV in the room, but it is very small. Some rooms are right next to a main road; there is noise when the windows are closed, and even more so when they are open. The bathroom is also quite large. The front desk service is very good. The hotel breakfast is very affordable. Overall, it offers good value for money.

Excellent! It's not luxurious, but very comfortable for an overnight stay during a trip. The cleanliness is excellent, and it's very welcoming. The only downside is that if your room faces the road, you'll notice vehicle noise until a certain hour, which is normal given it's a busy area due to Norte Shopping. I recommend it.

It's best not to stay here in winter; it's too cold, and I often wake up freezing at night. Breakfast is decent but filling. The location is excellent; it's convenient to get around. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
