Huangshan Villas

The hotel had a great location close to some of the most famous peaks. We stayed for a night to be able to see the sunset and sunrise and all was arranged in order to allow it in the most comfortable and convenient way, from tours planned to down jackets in the room free for use. We were upgraded during check-in for a better room and used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. On top of that we also found a voucher for the spa in the room ☺️

Location is perfect at the top of the mountain, we arrived after a day of hiking and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff - especially Qinqin who kept in touch with us and sent us weather/cloud cover/sunrise details by message. We were so impressed and pleasantly surprised by the hotel facilities - really good food (and very reasonably priced), warm and clean room, smart toilet, mountain-view from the window, warm jackets provided for watching the sunrise (we were lucky to catch a clear sky for the sunrise!). They also prepared small items of complimenary local snacks and coffees throughout our stay. There was a small performance of the traditional opera style in the evening in the main hall which was lovely (especially for my UK partner to experience!). Would highly recommend and would stay again

We had a wonderful time at Yupinglou Hotel. It is a very beautiful hotel. We enjoyed everything about our stay there. The hotel rooms are really beautiful and also very clean. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and the service is excellent. We want to thank the staff very much for their great hospitality. They also gave us a lot of recommendations about hiking routes on the mountain, which is really helpful. We will never forget the wonderful time we had at Yupinglou hotel. If we will visit Huangshan again in the future, we will definitely choose Yupinglou Hotel again.

This is a very large hotel with lots of rooms and floors. The rooms are big, comfortable beds and great furniture. Staff tried really hard although some didn't speak much English, the concierge was great and arranged transport for us. The pool is big but lots of children! The buffet breakfast was great but the dinner not worth it. Only local beer available.

The room is a suite, the space is very large, this should be the only advantage, the location is good, along the Xin'an River, but the room I live in is just opposite, I did not experience the river view room. The price is also very high, I lived in a suite of 200 yuan for the first time 😂😂😂 Facilities: The setting has not been updated and maintained for a long time. It should still be like ten years ago. The TV is too old, the remote control battery is leaking and cannot be used, and the bedside lamp is also bad. Hygienic: The sanitation is very diligent and the overall praise is good, but the details need to be improved, such as the quality of toiletries, basically can not be used, such as the grade of small hotels, lowering the overall level. Environment: The environment is very good, very suitable for a family of three, there is a small refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave oven, stove, range hood. Service: The service is quite satisfactory, and overall it is still a bit old. If the overall renovation and upgrade, I believe it will be better!

To my surprise the facilities and room were all super clean and modern. Bed was comfortable, the air conditioning in the room actually works well and you’re able to flip between A/C and heat. Dinner buffet was meh for the price but understandable given the high effort to bring ingredients up the mountain. I only hope that the workers that bring up supplies get paid fairly :( Staff were all really nice, breakfast was okay and sufficient. Location is close to Danxia peak for both sunrise and sunset which is nice.

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

I climbed the Yellow Mountain 3 times and every time I stayed at this hotel. For the second time I chose this hotel because I remembered the little stone tigers leading you to the entrance. It’s a beautiful way of settling in the mountain. Also, I still knew it had a good location and I liked the warm coats that you can borrow. The third time I choose this hotel because of mr. Xiao Li (管家小李). He is truly a great host. We were taken care of so well: he sent us weather reports, gave us a good overview of the mountain, led us to the sunrise viewing spots, and just has a very warm personality. Mr. Xiao li will be the reason for me to book this hotel again in the future. Thank you for your care.

The front desk staff are warm and thoughtful, the facilities are good, and the breakfast is okay. Convenient parking

The room was okay, it was old, but it was clean, tidy, and quiet. I went a little late and the breakfast variety was a bit limited. The deposit was refunded quickly, within 5 minutes. The lobby is very grand.
