Knysna Villas

One of the quirkiest stylish hotels we’ve seen . This converted power station has so many original pieces of machinery stylishly incorporated into the design of the hotel public areas and rooms . Excellent staff . Room was very comfortable and the small kitchenette is always helpful when travelling . We had breakfast and it was excellent . Short walk to two cool restaurants and a fab kids play area . Thesen island is a short bridge from Knysna and is a very manicured area with expensive properties but it grit safe and quiet - a bit of respite from the cities . The Spa is wonderful ( ask for Lydia !) . Book ahead so you can just saunter down from your room and relax . Great stopover on garden route .

Celebrated my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed our stay, loved the pool and our room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast is great, wish it had pancakes or waffles for vegetarians. The hotel is located at the heart of Knysna- short stroll to the waterfront, plenty of restaurants& activities. Parking is available on site for ZAR30 p/ night and tourism levy is ZAR30 p/ night. Our check in was 30 minutes late, (14:30) bit disappointed, but we understand it was peak period. Otherwise highly recommend and will definitely return!

The construction of the hotel aptly lived up to its name ! The room was spacious and well appointed, complete with balcony; the buffet breakfast was extensive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. And all within close walking distance of Knysna's waterfront !!

The hotel is beautifully furnished and offers very comfortable, quiet rooms. I personally missed having a bath, but the parking, friendly staff and walking distance to the waterfront (literally 50 metres) were an absolute bonus. The pizza oven in the restaurant is a real eye catcher as is the furniture in the restaurant. Stunning

5/5 Loved this place. The food was gorgeous, the room was clean, the bed was so comfy and the shower facilities all good. The staff were so helpful and Fortune even came out with me on a kayak as hubby not keen. Thank you Fortune! There is a very plush on site cheap taxi to take you where you want to go which was an unexpected bonus. There are quite a few steps which was my only small issue but that was because I had injured my foot at the previous accommodation, so tricky to negotiate. There are bikes that are free to use and also as mentioned, the kayaks. The local area is pretty. I’d go back in an instant. Thank you.

Lovely room and the most comfortable bed. The air-conditioning was a big plus with the hot weather we experienced in January. The view from the balcony is great and it is in a very central location. Was very pleased with everything as well as the friendly staff and parking space. Overall a great place to stay at an affordable price.
