This hotel offers great value for money, and it's super close to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street, both within walking distance. Parking is available right across the street, and it's free for guests – just let the front desk know when you're leaving. Crossing the small road is pretty convenient too. There's a clothing shop next door with some really beautiful clothes. The front desk staff, a young man, even proactively upgraded our room to a courtyard room on the first floor with a lovely little private yard, which was very comfortable. They also thoughtfully provide small amenities like hair ties and cotton swabs at the front desk. Overall, very considerate!

The location is excellent, and the high-floor view is quite good. The afternoon tea included in the Trip.com package was incredibly good value for money, I just forgot to take a picture before eating it.
The room is quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The facilities aren't brand new; there's no high-speed hairdryer or smart toilet, and the power outlet next to the desk was a bit difficult to open. There's only one tissue box, placed on the vanity. However, these are minor issues and don't really matter; they're easily adjustable.
What I found unacceptable were two problems. Firstly, the elevator shaft connecting the suspended lobby to the first floor constantly emitted a whistling wind sound, which was noisy and unsettling. Secondly, I'm not sure if the air conditioning system is old and ineffective, or if they're saving energy and haven't turned it on properly. I couldn't adjust the temperature or mode. Outside, the temperature was dropping fast, nearing zero degrees, yet even with the in-room AC control set to 28°C, there was still no airflow. I called the front desk, and it took an age for someone to arrive. They pointed a forehead thermometer at the vent, it beeped, and they claimed the vent was blowing 26°C, saying there was no problem and that this was the set temperature, controlled centrally by the hotel. The problem is, I had the whimsical idea to hold a paper-thin tissue up to the vent, and it didn't even flutter.

Everything was top tier. From the check-in where I was upgraded to a river view room, the clean, spacious and inviting room to the service and superb breakfast. The view from the restaurant was amazing.
This was my pre birthday trip and the Hyatt made it so special. I even got a slice to birthday cake. The lady at the front desk who checked me in spoke really good English and was so kind and caring and she’s also a Gemini 😁🎉 I would 100% recommend and come back here.

This hotel is perfectly situated right on the bustling Guanqian Street, meaning as soon as you step out, you're surrounded by an array of shops, authentic local snacks, and popular photo ops. It's incredibly convenient for both shopping and dining. I was particularly impressed by the hotel's cleanliness standards. The lobby, hallways, and other public areas were spotless, with a faint, pleasant scent in the air. The room cleaning was even more meticulous; the bedding was pristine white, soft, and comfortable to the touch. The hotel boasts a modern, minimalist design with clean lines and warm tones, giving it a sophisticated feel. The smart control system was easy to use, significantly enhancing the high-tech and comfort levels of my stay. What surprised me most was the self-service laundry room – it effortlessly solved the problem of changing clothes, making my trip much more relaxed. Another highlight is the hotel's terrace; it's a fantastic spot to unwind after a day of exploring, and at night, it's perfect for photos. From check-in to check-out, every staff member greeted me with a smile and a warm, yet professional, demeanor. The front desk was efficient and professional, answering all my questions and even kindly recommending nearby restaurants and sightseeing routes. Room service was prompt; whenever I needed something replenished, a quick call brought it right to my door, making me feel truly cared for. Overall, it was a flawless stay, and next time I'm in Suzhou, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

I travel a lot these days, but this was my first time staying at a Manxin Hotel, and I was so pleasantly surprised by the Manxin Hotel in Nanjing's Confucius Temple area. The decor is very minimalist, clean, bright, and has a strong modern vibe with warm color schemes. The in-room facilities are advanced and convenient. What's even better is its proximity to Nanjing's core scenic spots; the Confucius Temple is within walking distance. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – they were warm, attentive, and polite, making me feel truly welcome. I'll definitely choose Manxin again next time I'm in Nanjing.

The Crowne Plaza Suzhou is ideally located on the west bank of Jinji Lake, south of Modern Avenue, just across the street from landmarks like the Gate of the Orient and Suzhou Center Plaza, and right next to the Musical Fountain Square. Its unique cruise ship design is a real eye-catcher. From the east bank of Jinji Lake, you can see the 'Big Underpants' (Gate of the Orient) and the 'cruise ship' (Crowne Plaza) in the same frame, especially dazzling at night with all the lights.
The hotel's service truly reflects the high standards of the IHG group:
The night before check-in, a hotel representative called to confirm our reservation. Upon learning that our party included two seniors and one child, they specially noted our requests for early check-in and a twin room at the front desk and tried their best to accommodate them.
Upon arrival, the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Room, which was very spacious. The two single beds, in particular, were wide enough for one adult and one child to comfortably share a bed without feeling cramped.
The service throughout our stay was incredibly warm and attentive. The bellhop proactively helped with our luggage, and after checking in, the front desk staff kindly escorted us to the elevators. Learning that we had a boy with us, they even arranged for housekeeping to deliver a pair of children's slippers.
The breakfast buffet was a definite highlight. The dining environment at Saint Saloon Western Restaurant was very bright and comfortable, and we were even able to sit at the 'bow' of the ship, enjoying the beautiful views of Jinji Lake while we ate.
Guests also enjoy complimentary parking. After registering our license plate number at the front desk, driving in and out of the hotel multiple times was very smooth.
Whether for a family vacation or a business trip to Suzhou, the Crowne Plaza Suzhou is an excellent choice.

The Hanamura Ryokan by Slender West Lake is located near the south gate of the Slender West Lake Scenic Area, about a 5-minute walk from the attraction. There are plenty of restaurants, foot massage parlors, and traditional scrubbing baths nearby. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively helping with luggage to the room and even sending a robot with a bedtime dessert.

The hotel facilities are excellent, and its location in the famous Xinjiekou bustling area makes getting around incredibly convenient. Right outside, you'll find a variety of restaurants and two great coffee shops. What really stood out was having Peet's coffee capsules and a Dyson hairdryer in the room – super convenient! The circular bay windows in the room offered stunning views, with the autumn scenery and the glow of the sunset complementing each other beautifully. Overall, the experience was fantastic and definitely a highlight of our trip.
Our trip was an excellent experience! The concierge, Fiona, reached out early via WeChat, arranged a fantastic room for us, and even booked a table with a window view at the Chinese restaurant. She was incredibly warm and lovely, always responding and resolving any issues immediately. The hotel has a great location and wonderful views. The duck blood vermicelli soup at breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar. The concierge service was outstanding; a particularly enthusiastic doorman, Lu Yuanzhen, helped us with our luggage every time we came and went, and our bags were always delivered to our room. This hotel offers truly exceptional service. I'll definitely choose InterContinental again on my next visit to Nanjing. Our first trip of the New Year was absolutely delightful. Wishing everyone here a Happy New Year!

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!
11595191****Located in the Science and Technology City of Suzhou High-tech Zone, the surrounding area integrates the elements of ”technology, landscape, and humanities” and is close to an artificial lake. The environment is quiet and suitable for vacation.
The hotel is close to Taihu Avenue and has convenient transportation, but the business atmosphere in the Science and Technology City area is relatively quiet, and you need to travel a short distance to nearby commercial entities.
With environmental protection, natural landscape and family-friendly facilities as its core advantages, Element Suzhou is suitable for tourists seeking a quiet vacation or a short business trip. Its kitchen configuration and parent-child services are particularly outstanding, but improvements need to be made in terms of spraying less air freshener and surrounding convenience.
CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

VvasuuuHighly recommend this hotel for couples! It's a three-story building, and the hallways are great for photos. You can even see the Gate of the Orient from the 7th-floor balcony. The hotel is super close to the newly opened MixC World, just a skywalk away. It was renovated in 2025, and there's no strong formaldehyde smell in the rooms. The facilities are quite complete, and the toothbrushes aren't those cheap disposable ones. The hygiene is excellent.
For couples checking in, here are a few tips:
1. When you check in, ask the front desk for a disposable bathtub liner. The tissue box might not have a tissue sticking out; you'll need to flip it over and open the bottom to get one.
2. The fixed showerhead can be adjusted, so you don't have to stand right against the wall.
3. The main bed doesn't have outlets at the headboard, but the two side beds do. The switch for the inner side bed only controls the small circular light at the foot of that bed (see pic 5). The spotlights for the side bed near the bar are what control the ambient lighting at the headboard and under the bed.
4. Also, I want to complain that I didn't get a random cultural and creative blind box!
5. Still, I highly recommend staying here.
MM38243****The rooms are charmingly vintage and cozy. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with a picturesque view at every turn. The owner's thoughtful touches shine through in every corner of the guesthouse, especially by the floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the lobby, which are a popular photo spot for everyone. The pool might not be huge, but the kids absolutely loved it. The hostess is incredibly kind, and the guesthouse is well-equipped with a variety of facilities. Guests can even experience unique activities like traditional fireside gatherings and incense crafting. I'm already looking forward to visiting again when it gets colder!
XxyxySuzhou's ancient charm blends seamlessly with modern trends, and the pet-friendly rooms at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou are an absolute haven for pet owners and their beloved companions, offering an exceptionally comfortable stay. Stepping into the room, we were met with delightful surprises: an adorable paw-print key card that was playfully charming, and a personalized welcome card hand-drawn by our butler, Cherry, featuring a lovely picture of our pet, Shuping, and her name. It was such a thoughtful gesture that instantly warmed our hearts. The room amenities for pets were incredibly comprehensive, including pee pads, food and water bowls, a pet bed, a toy ball, and even a dog tent – everything needed to meticulously care for our pet's well-being. The front desk also offers complimentary pet stroller rentals, making outings much more convenient. The pet-friendly courtyard room was spacious, bright, and filled with greenery, providing ample space for our pet to run around and play freely. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly towards pets. Our butler, Cherry, proactively communicated with us beforehand about our pet's habits and needs, providing personalized and thoughtful service that catered to both us and our furry friend throughout our stay. This pet-friendly trip was exceptionally satisfying, and we will definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit to Suzhou!

MM232545****The location of the hotel is easy to find, and the staff will contact you in advance to guide you to the location before you check in. The hotel is located in a resort. The environment is very good. It is comfortable and quiet. The rooms are clean and complete with complete sanitary facilities. The hotel manager Nice and the housekeeper Guo Juan provide warm, meticulous and proactive services. The shuttle bus within the resort is also very convenient. The hot spring included in the package was as good as expected. Since I had children with me, the hot spring attendant Aunt Niu Xia took special care of the children. Overall, highly recommended!

CCyfer3185Stayed at this homestay for 3 nights in July which is peak season for summer domestic travel in China. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect of a 4 star hotel - comfortable beds, lounging area, balcony, TV, good toiletries, hair dryer. Other positives were very friendly service staff, hearty breakfast from the cafe with is on the same premise. There’s also local restaurants nearby to dine at which are not bad, just 5-10 mins walk down the road. I also enjoyed waking up to run across the bridge which has a great sunrise view. A lot of tourists visit the cafe for the sunset views. The hotel staff can do room service and bring food ordered from the cafe to your room if requested.
Note though that location wise it is not as close to other cafes and stuff. You’ll need to travel a fair bit if you want to venture and do other things. I wanted a peaceful retreat with a good view but nearer to mainland (compared to the main 西山岛) so this worked for me.
I stayed in 3 different rooms (Rm 1,4,5) for my 3 nights as I had asked for a room with a view but was initially assigned one that was completely blocked by trees. In trying to accommodate my request I ended up having different rooms (to no fault of the staff and property) each night. There are 8 ‘normal rooms’ and one suite room that is round and more suited for honeymoon/romantic occasions. Rooms 3,4,5,6 are the ones with the better view. Room 1 (my first room) has a completely blocked view which is a waste staying by the lake. Rooms 4 and 5 have the best view. Note also that rm 1 and 4 have a skylight that cannot be blocked so by 5 am your room is gonna be bright although they do give you eye shades to help.
There is also no laundry facilities on site.
Only additional feedback to the property would be that they could consider a discount for guests to dine at the cafe, that could encourage guests to have more meals there.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this for anyone looking for an escape for the buzz and want a tranquil place to rest!
