First off, the location is fantastic, right in the middle of all the attractions, and everything is within walking distance. Ordering takeout is super convenient too, with a little robot downstairs delivering right to your door.
The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay, from check-in to check-out, offering all sorts of services.
There was some construction going on in the neighborhood, but once I drew the curtains in my room, I couldn't hear a thing. The projector was large and clear, and both the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The tea and teaware provided were excellent as well – I was so happy! I even brewed a large cup of black tea and put it in the fridge, and it was so refreshing to drink when I got back!

Stumbled upon this hotel, saw the price was good, so I booked it.
Only found out upon check-in that this is the tallest building in Wuxi. The subway station is right downstairs, and Xiao Lou Alley is just across the street. Getting around is super convenient.
The hotel's ground-floor entrance isn't very obvious; I walked around a bit before finding it and initially thought it was an office building lobby. I went in and asked, and that's when I learned the hotel's front desk is on the 43rd floor. Taking the express elevator made my ears pop a bit.
The room was great, the view was nice, and it was clean. The complimentary soft drinks from the minibar for Trip.com members and the welcome fruit from the hotel were a thoughtful touch.
I had read reviews mentioning poor soundproofing and was worried it might affect my sleep, but it turned out to be very quiet.
Check-out was also very fast; I just handed in the room card and left.
Overall, it was a very good experience. I'd definitely stay here again.

Location: This hotel is a landmark in Xuzhou, right in the city center. It's incredibly convenient for visiting the Confucius Temple and Pengcheng No. 1, and also close to the 1818 Night Market. You can even see these attractions from the hotel rooms. Getting to the subway station across the street requires a bit of a walk around to the traffic light, so we mostly took taxis, though you can also walk to Hubu Mountain and Huilongwo, exploring all the way to the museum and Yunlong Mountain.
Facilities: There's a swimming pool, but we didn't use it.
Cleanliness: Tidy.
Service: I was initially worried that the front desk being on the 42nd floor would be inconvenient, but there's a dedicated elevator to go up, so it didn't feel like an issue at all.
The Atour Hotel Nanjing South Railway Station boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the South Station, making it incredibly convenient for catching trains. The rooms are clean and smart, equipped with capsule coffee machines and Dyson hair dryers. The service is attentive, offering late-night snacks, and complimentary laundry and gym facilities. It's a top choice for business travelers and offers great value for money.

The room was spacious enough for three people, very clean, and had a refreshing decor. Its location is super close to the airport, and they offer a free shuttle service. It only takes about three or four minutes to get to Terminal 2 from the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. The only downside I noticed is that the windows are sliding, so the soundproofing isn't great. You can hear traffic from the road outside, so if you're a light sleeper or prefer quiet, definitely ask for a room away from the road. You can order food on the ground floor of the hotel; the noodles were really good value and came in a huge bowl!

Booked an executive room for our Chinese New Year trip, which included access to the executive lounge. The room was spacious and the service was excellent. As the tallest building in Zhenjiang, it offers panoramic views of attractions like Jinshan, Jiaoshan, and Beigu Mountain. The location is superb, making it easy to get around, and with Suning Plaza right next door, shopping and dining are incredibly convenient. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but there were still enough options. The only downside was that the room was too hot; even with the AC on ventilation mode, it was still warm. After we reported it, they provided a fan, which made a big difference.

I chose the Marriott this time and had a fantastic experience. Everything from the cleanliness, concierge service, front desk, to the dining was incredibly professional. The only hiccup was with the executive benefit of a 4 PM late checkout; the front desk called to rush me out by 2:30 PM, which wasn't a great experience. It suggests there might be some issues with handovers between shifts at the front desk. Overall, it's up to Marriott's usual high standards. As both a Marriott Bonvoy and Trip.com Diamond member, I highly recommend this hotel. (It's a million times better than the Marriotts I've stayed at in the US, ranking top-tier in both service and facilities!)

I chose the Anyi Hotel on Guanqian Street for my business trip to Suzhou, and it completely met my business travel needs, exceeding my expectations! The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Guanqian Street, making it efficient for getting around and handling business. The surrounding transportation network is well-developed; taxis and subways are quick, saving time when traveling to and from the high-speed rail station and my office. The room environment was clean and quiet, with a sensible layout and plenty of light. There was no bothersome noise, allowing for both good rest and temporary work. The spacious desk and stable internet speed meant I could handle work without any stress. The service experience was professional and efficient. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and their 24-hour service meant I could check in smoothly even with a late-night arrival. Housekeeping was prompt, and the room was tidied up perfectly every day. The facilities were comprehensive and practical, including comfortable office desk and chairs, a wet/dry separated bathroom, and quality toiletries. The room had excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep without impacting my work. The value for money is outstanding – a definite top choice for business trips.

The hotel service was excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and responsive. Both check-in and check-out were efficient and convenient. The room facilities were complete, with a stable hot water supply and soft, skin-friendly bedding, providing a superb resting environment for tired travelers. Even more delightful was the free breakfast buffet offered every morning, with a rich variety of delicious local dishes. Every service detail showed great care.

📍 **Location and Transportation:**
The hotel boasts an ideal location in the heart of Zhangjiagang city center, right next to the bustling Wanda Plaza. From here, it's an easy walk to key attractions such as the Zhangjiagang Culture Center, Poly Grand Theatre, and Liangfeng Eco-Park. I traveled by high-speed train to Zhangjiagang Station, and a taxi ride from there took approximately 15 minutes to reach the hotel, which was very convenient. For those driving, the hotel offers a spacious underground parking lot, ensuring parking is completely hassle-free.
🏨 **Environment and Rooms:**
Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately struck by its modern and grand design, with soft lighting creating an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze; the front desk staff were warm, professional, and quickly got me settled into my room. My room was on a higher floor, and as soon as I opened the door, I was impressed by its spacious and bright interior. The panoramic window design is fantastic; the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the city skyline and the bustling nightscape of Zhangjiagang. The bedding was perfectly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring I had a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation and was stocked with premium toiletries, showcasing attention to detail and quality. Furthermore, the room's soundproofing was excellent; despite the city's hustle and bustle outside, it was remarkably quiet once the windows were closed.
🍱 **Dining Experience:**
I must commend the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet, served at Zhenchu Restaurant on the 39th floor, offered an incredibly diverse spread, with both Western and Chinese dishes to satisfy every palate. I particularly enjoyed their freshly-made noodles; the rich broth and springy noodles, complemented by a variety of fresh toppings, made for a truly satisfying start to the day. The fresh, seasonal fruits were also a highlight, wonderfully sweet and refreshing. For lunch and dinner, I tried Yunwei, the hotel's Chinese restaurant. Its elegant ambiance, imbued with Jiangnan charm, perfectly complemented the exquisite and delicious dishes. The menu beautifully blended Huaiyang cuisine with local Zhangjiagang specialties, making every dish memorable. Oh, and the Executive Lounge on the 36th floor is also exceptional. The afternoon tea offered delicate and delicious pastries that were perfectly sweet without being cloying. Happy Hour featured a generous selection of hot dishes and snacks, including freshly carved Peking duck, which the staff thoughtfully rolled and delivered to our table. Paired with expertly mixed cocktails, it was an absolutely superb dining experience!
🏊 **Facilities and Services:**
The hotel's fitness center and indoor heated pool are both located on the 4th floor. The fitness center is well-equipped and open 24 hours, perfect for my workout schedule. The indoor heated pool had clean, crystal-clear water, and after a swim, I could relax in the adjacent massage pool – pure bliss! The hotel's service also left a lasting impression. From the front desk to room service, every staff member was warm, attentive, and incredibly prompt in their responses. On one occasion, I needed extra towels, and they were delivered to my room within minutes of my call to room service. Additionally, the hotel provides a business center with well-equipped meeting rooms, making it ideal for business travelers.
My stay at the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel was excellent, whether for business or a family vacation. While the price might not be considered low, the hotel offers great value for money given its brand reputation, exceptional service, and comfortable environment. For Marriott Bonvoy members, the perks like room upgrades and late check-out make it even more worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

I booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby. The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt. The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone. The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

What we liked: Spacious and nice room design. Separate bath and toilet. Toilet has automatic flush, seat cover is also provided. Lots of snacks and amenities provided. There are amenities at the front desk such as disposable bath cover, disposable floss, mask etc you can collect from front desk. You can also ask for warm bottled water. Responsive staff, can communicate your needs via WeChat, very convenient. There are 3 lifts, very convenient. Snacks and drinks are free. Bath robes, room and bath slippers are provided too. Awesome that we stayed on the same floor as the lobby, very convenient. Location is near metro, malls, shops, and attractions, very convenient. I like that there are bath robes and different types of towels provided. What we think can be improved: We thought the big bath was indoors and wouldn’t be so cold in the winter but it has two open windows and it gets quite cold when the wind blows. It takes about 1.5h to fill up about 60-70% of the tub and you need to tap every 30 minutes or so to keep the water flowing. Quite time consuming to get it ready for a bath. Housekeeping is inconsistent, the cleaner left a towel on the floor on one of the days, left a cup unwashed, took away our straws and left the sink cover by the sink instead. They have a centralised heating system so it can get quite hot but the staff offered us a fan and we opened the balcony door for wind to enter so it was comfortable to sleep at night. There was some drilling going on in the early morning around 9-10am, it was just opposite our room so it disrupted my sleep, would be better for them to schedule it during non-sleeping hours. When we were checking out, the staff at the counter shared about them getting audited and if we don’t give a five star review, they will get a fine, I had never heard of it from other hotels and found it quite strange. She was insistent on us doing it on the spot even though we have to catch a train, that was not pleasant. We just went ahead to rush for our train. Not much to watch on the TV unfortunately.
All the staff were so friendly and hospitable. The room was unique and memorable. Great location, I really enjoyed wandering around at night after all the daytime groups left!

Excellent
Pros: Amazing location close to Shajiabang. Serene and calming environment. Very fashionable facilities that are spotless. Very good food. The takeout robots are awesome and when they are over-capacity, the front desk brings you the food Friendly and attentive staff The fancy hairdryer and the warmed toilet seat was amazing. Shower pressure was impeccable (but you take these things for granted at 4 star hotels...) TV software is very good, and you can easily stream stuff Cons: No English Signs / No communication with staff. Translation app helps a bit , but there were some misunderstandings and a difficulty to find the hotel lobby as there was no clear signage. Very good intentions though from staff, and you can't expect everyone to speak English. But having at least one person speaking English, as well as having billingual signs everywhere are important to ensuring that foreign guests feel more comfortable without having to always reach for their phone Different understanding of privacy: the housekeeping always knocked despite having Do Not Disturb on. I had to be mindful of them, which kinda stressed me. 2nd floor lake view feels exposed. My room was facing a public walking path into the reserve, and although not much traffic was happening, people could see me. Ideally the windows can be tinted to prevent this. Wifi is slow and not able to meet needs. Limited at around 10 MBPS (without vpn) and always buffered, but was good for basic stuff Bad soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in your neighbors Constant alarm sound from the door latch. If you open your door while having it on, it makes a very loud alarm sound that is good because it deters crime, but it's annoying to hear it on accident while other people have the same issue. at lots of times Weird floor plans. at 2nd floor where the rooms are, you can get lost very easily. same at first floor which I accidentally went into the restaurant. Smell of smoke coming when AC is off from other rooms. perhaps more smoke detectors can be placed to deter this while fining violators, as well as isolating the AC system per room a bit more...
I arrived at the hotel early at 12:30 p.m. and originally planned to just leave my luggage, have lunch, and check in later. Unexpectedly, the front desk staff—Ruyi—was extremely helpful and offered me early check-in as a room was available. I’m truly grateful! Miss Ruyi was very thoughtful that she even upgraded my room to one with a window and offered me hot tea to warm up. The hotel’s location is excellent—very close to Confucius Temple, surrounded by plenty of great food and attractions, and near the metro station. The bed was large and comfortable, though one minor downside is that the sink and desk looked a bit dated. When checking out, the lady at the front desk was also very kind and gave me a bottle of warm water. I sincerely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Nanjing!
Food: Breakfast was varied, with western, asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using Meituan set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.
