Beach Hotels in Hebei, China

Location: it’s right in front of the beach. You just cross a small road. Not many things to do around the area but a 15min Didi drive gets you in many hot spots. Service: Front desk service was really excellent, willing to help book tickets for local attractions. The staff was generally friendly and even gave me a gift at the end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rooms: Even though the hotel can do with an upgrade of some stuff, the rooms are exactly as seen in pictures and are all sea facing. I loved that rooms came with a mini kitchenette with a proper big sized fridge. 👍 There was no tea/ coffee in the rooms, even though there’s a “tea station”. I asked the ayi for a teabag of green tea, she said they don’t have. 🥴😪🥴 Breakfast: Breakfast is standard Chinese breakfast. Not too much variety but changed from day to day, which I liked. Cleanliness: The hotel is Chinese “clean”. The ayi came in to clean but left the glasses in the sink unwashed and the bed “made” as seen in the pic. 🫣🤣😂 Even the kitchen counter wasn’t even wiped. 😭😭😭 It had some crumbs from my previous meal. The bathroom sink had water marks/ stains that could easily be polished of, if the ayi took her job seriously. The disposable bath towels in the bathroom were a winner though.🥇 And the sheets, towels and bedspreads were great and clean. 🙌🏾 Overall: If you want downtime and relaxation, and are not too picky, this place is great. I would stay here again simply because of the service received. But I wish the hotel can train the staff on proper hygiene.

The front desk service was excellent; they brought out a lot of beachcombing tools for the kids to choose from. The room was spacious with a good sea view, but the decor was a bit basic, and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The toiletries and towels were disposable, and while their quality was just okay, they were convenient. I have a few complaints. First, the hallway lights were broken. We checked in at night, and the hallway was dim with one light flickering, which was a bit spooky. That's why we didn't bother asking for another room despite the bathroom smell. Second, the shower was open-concept with no curtain, and it faced the sink directly. After showering, the area around the sink was soaking wet and very difficult to clean. Lastly, the power outlets were all located at the foot of the bed, which is a strange design and made charging devices very inconvenient.

This hotel offers a fantastic view and a peaceful, relaxing environment. The room was clean and beautifully kept, and basic amenities were provided for a comfortable stay. It's an excellent choice if you're looking to enjoy the scenery without any disturbances. Just be aware that the room rate doesn't include meals, so you'll need to make your own arrangements for food. Also, if you're someone who enjoys a morning coffee, remember to bring your own supplies, as these aren't provided. Overall, a wonderful place to stay for the views and tranquility. Just come prepared for your own dining and coffee needs.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Laohushi Park, just a two-minute walk across the road. There are plenty of seafood buffet restaurants nearby, and one is even right downstairs. The front desk staff are all very warm, polite, and attentive. There's also a self-service coffee machine in the lobby. Plus, the hotel has a laundry room, which is a nice touch. The room was very clean and well-stocked with toiletries, and the towels were soft and comfortable. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small, and the bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area, but everything else was fine. It's also easy to get to other attractions by taxi. Beidaihe is beautiful!

I specifically chose this hotel for my trip here, and I definitely picked the right place! It's very close to the attractions, which made getting around incredibly easy. The room's decor was simple yet elegant, perfectly adequate for everyday living. The bedding was comfortable, making for a truly relaxing sleep. The cleanliness was exceptional; every corner was spotless, which made me feel very secure and at ease. The staff were all incredibly genuine and enthusiastic. They patiently answered all my questions, making me feel very welcome. Overall, I couldn't find a single fault. My stay was fantastic, and this will be my first choice for accommodation when traveling. You can't go wrong with this one!

This time, I brought my family to Beidaihe for a vacation and specifically chose the Meisiju Hotel in Beidaihe New District. I chose it because of its long-standing reputation and also wanted to experience the heritage of the old hotel and the newly renovated rooms! The service at the old hotel has always been heartwarming. The front desk staff were welcoming and meticulous during check-in, and the friendly atmosphere of the long-time staff immediately made me feel at ease, showing the hotel's dedication to its loyal guests. What surprised me even more was the upgraded room, which completely overturned my impression of traditional hotels! The room was simply yet elegantly decorated, with excellent natural light and a view of the park's greenery right from the window. The toiletries were all newly replaced with high-quality products, and the mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable. The combination of the old hotel's warmth and the new room's refinement was so touching. I felt both safe and comfortable during my stay, and I'll definitely come back!

The location is absolutely fantastic, super close to Laohushi Beach. You step right out of the hotel onto the sand and into the sea, making it incredibly convenient to catch both sunrise and sunset. The hotel's decor is exquisite and creates a great ambiance. The 'Ocean City Love Theme' is very whimsical and kid-friendly. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was really comfortable. I'm very satisfied!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious. There's a laundry room on the second floor, making washing and drying very convenient. I'm especially grateful because I went to do my laundry after 10 PM and all the machines were occupied. A patrolling staff member very kindly offered to take my clothes, saying they would wash and dry them overnight and leave them at the front desk for me. That was incredibly heartwarming! Downstairs is a lovely street, and directly opposite is the beach. The aquarium is diagonally across from the hotel, and there are some great restaurants and snack bars next to it. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The front desk staff had a great attitude and quickly resolved any issues. I initially didn't realize the 'starlit ceiling' room was slanted, but after mentioning it to the front desk, they promptly helped us switch to a different room with a projector. The room was clean and well-maintained, and they were very accommodating to all our requests. When I called for an extra blanket at night, it was delivered within minutes. Most importantly, it's pet-friendly!

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and patient, showing genuine care for everyone, especially the kids. This will be our top choice for future stays. The surrounding area is great too, with plenty of dining options and decent shopping, plus it's very close to Liuzhuang Commercial Street. The environment is lovely. I won't say more, we'll definitely be back with the little ones next time.
