The location is really great. I stayed at the Yihai Garden Hotel a month ago, and this hotel's service and location are even better. During my stay, I was bothered by the smell of cigarette smoke coming from other rooms, and they offered to move me from the 19th floor to the 13th floor. So, I just put up with the cigarette smell for all 4 days. I ended up using more than half a bottle of my Chanel perfume as an air freshener ㅠㅠ. And the cleaning... they barely did anything except replace towels and restock amenities ㅠㅠ. I even had to clean the hair in the shower myself. That's why I deducted one star from the service. Other than that, the breakfast, although it has fewer options than Yihai Garden, has a lot more edible choices, and they upgraded me to a room with a sea view, which was great ^^. Didi (ride-sharing) was also easy to catch. It was very convenient to get to Lichun Market, Taidong Pedestrian Street, and other places by bus or subway ^^. Receiving packages was also very good, and the night view from the living room is also wonderful~

This hotel's location is absolutely perfect for families with kids. The back door leads directly to Golden Beach, no need to cross any roads or take a detour. It's just a few steps with the little ones to build sandcastles or hunt for small crabs during low tide – super safe and convenient. The 'Lonely Whale' internet-famous photo spot is only about a ten-minute walk away. Plus, there are convenience stores, local eateries, and supermarkets all nearby, making it incredibly easy to find food if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The views are stunning; you can catch both sunrise and sunset from the beach. Getting a taxi to other attractions is also very easy, so it doesn't feel isolated or hard to get around. After a tiring day playing at the beach, you can just pop back to your room to rest. The pace of the vacation is so relaxed, no need to rush, making it suitable for both seniors and children. Mango at the front desk provided excellent, very attentive concierge-style service from check-in throughout our stay. We'd definitely come back again if we get the chance.

This was my first stay at the hotel and overall, I was very satisfied. The lobby ambiance was grand and elegant, making me feel very comfortable. The front desk service was professional, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The staff were warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and spacious, providing a great way to unwind after a long journey. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely choose this place again if I have the opportunity.

I booked a sea-view room. Molly contacted me a day in advance and arranged for me to stay on the 21st floor. Any requests I had were promptly met; the service was excellent. The hotel facilities are generally great, including a free swimming pool. Interestingly, I didn't smell any chlorine. Going early during the off-season means it's practically a private pool – very enjoyable with no crowds. Most hotels offer complimentary laundry service, but here it's charged, which is a bit of a downside. The view from the window is beautiful, but it's a bit far from the city center, making dining out inconvenient unless you eat elsewhere before returning. Delivery services don't reach here. However, the hotel has its own restaurant; I ordered a main course from the all-day dining on the 5th floor, and the taste was quite good overall. It's very close to Nashanghai and Blueweis, and the scenery along the cliff walk by the sea near the hotel is also stunning. If I come to Weihai again, I would still choose Crowne Plaza.

I always worry about being cold when staying in a hotel in winter, so I specifically looked for one with floor heating, and it was really warm. The room was also quite spacious. Highly recommended! There were no strange smells in the room, and the decor was simple and stylish, exactly the kind of hotel vibe I prefer.

Service: From the hotel staff to the restaurant waitresses, everyone was lovely and very enthusiastic. Location: It's in a prime spot on Torch 8th Street, very convenient. You can directly access Torch 8th Street from the hotel's second and third floors by elevator, so no need to climb hills, and it's great for photos. Room: We booked a sea-facing room, but trees were blocking the view, so we could barely see the ocean directly, which was a bit disappointing. You definitely need to stay on a higher floor here! And those rooms are even cheaper than ours! Cleanliness: It was just before peak season, so it was getting a bit crowded, and the cleaning wasn't as thorough. There were wrappers from kids' snacks near the sofa and some unidentified hair on the bed. If you like lively places, this is good, but if you prefer quiet, I'd suggest the Golden Sands area; it's less crowded and the hotels there are better. This place feels more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel. Overall, the value for money isn't great, so I wouldn't highly recommend it.

The Hilton Yantai Golden Coast truly exceeded my expectations! The frontline sea view was absolutely stunning, the room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was very pleasant. Mina provided warm and thoughtful service, making check-in quick and easy. The breakfast was rich and delicious, and the overall environment was quiet and elegant. This is definitely my top choice for a seaside vacation in Yantai, a perfect experience!

Big shoutout to Xiao Han for the warm milk at night! 🥛 Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel has a few restaurants to choose from, and we had dinner on the 23rd floor. The view was great, although the wait was a bit long. The location is quite convenient, with the Hongkou 1920 Street Block just across the street, perfect for a seaside city walk leading to Chaoyang Street. It's also not far from the Changyu Wine Culture Museum. My only minor complaint is that the toilet in the room faced the bed, which might be due to the room layout.

GGuest UserOn my recent trip to Qingdao, I stayed at this hotel. I arrived during peak check-in time and expected a long wait, but Aris greeted me with a warm smile throughout and efficiently processed everything in just a few minutes. She proactively and thoroughly informed me about breakfast hours, pool and gym opening times, and even thoughtfully recommended a scenic seaside walking route downstairs. She patiently answered all my questions regarding parking and local attractions. Her communication was gentle and well-mannered, and her professionalism was outstanding. There wasn't a hint of perfunctory service; every detail reflected the high standard of Marriott's premium service. The hotel room offered expansive views and was spotlessly clean, and the Heavenly Bed was incredibly comfortable. However, what truly impressed me most was Aris's thoughtful and attentive service, which made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable away from home. I will definitely choose The Westin again on my next visit to Qingdao, and I specifically wanted to leave this review to commend the excellent staff member, Aris. She is truly trustworthy and highly recommended!

FFrom a SingaporeanThe positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question. After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

YYanieve⸻ Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience . The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Not ideal if you need a car—there’s no on-site parking (). Amenities and service both come in around 8.6–8.9/10, with friendly staff and smooth check‑in/out process (). Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 . 🌞 What stood out: • Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept . • The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches . • The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day (). 💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10 • Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay. 📍 Location: 8.9/10 • Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving. 🤝 Service: 8.9/10 • Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless. 🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10 • Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool . ⸻ ✅ Quick tips: • Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅. • It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre. • No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉. • No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖. ⸻ Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

WWanwandeyueliangExceeded expectations! Upon check-in, they upgraded my room and offered a complimentary minibar, which was a fantastic start to my stay! Our butler, Evan, added me on WeChat during check-in, and every subsequent interaction was incredibly prompt. All issues I raised were resolved perfectly, and he even brought us fruit and snacks, which was a lovely touch. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around; a taxi to May Fourth Square only took about 15 minutes. The night view of Qingdao's skyscrapers and the sea is stunning. Pictures 1 and 2 really need bright sunshine and a clear blue sky to look that good. On our first two days, the weather was gloomy, which really diminished the view. The hotel also provided complimentary tickets to the nearby Ocean Cloud Sky, and picture 6 was taken there with a wide-angle lens – it's beautiful, and would be even more so on a sunny day, which it wasn't when I took the photo. I was initially torn between The St. Regis and the Hyatt Regency (Haitian Hotel), but ultimately chose the Haitian due to its value for money and the uncooperative weather. My mom and I were not disappointed, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Qingdao. ☺️

MMommy traveller**Location & Value** Good location and size for the price point. The building is actually a residential condo with local residents, which gives it an authentic feel. Connected to the mall at level 6, so convenient access to dining and shopping. Corridors are very dark. **Rooms & Comfort** Rooms are true to photos. Beds are firm but surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets provided. Fair warning though—this property is really more of a service apartment than a hotel, so manage expectations accordingly. **Cleanliness Issues** This is the main concern. Housekeeping mops the floor daily, but the water appears dirty and the floors end up grimier than before. If you're traveling with a child (as we were), you'll need to clean the floor yourself—and housekeeping will undo your work the next day. Frustrating cycle. **Breakfast & Food** Skip the hotel breakfast package—it's just delivery that you could order yourself. Better options are walking distance away. McDonald's is only 3 minutes on foot. **Service** Service is minimal to nonexistent. Asked about getting a local phone number for deliveries and the front desk was unwilling to help. Taobao/package deliveries get dumped in a communal basket with no sorting—you have to search through yourself. **Condition & Maintenance** Advertised as newly renovated in 2025, but visible wear and tear suggests low-quality renovation work. Concerns about long-term durability without proper maintenance. **Summary** Good for budget travelers who don't expect hotel amenities and don't mind doing some housekeeping yourself. The location and price are solid, but the cleanliness and service gaps are real issues.

GGuest UserCame to Qingdao on the 13th and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Shandong Port. Andy, the handsome front desk staff, was warm and thoughtful. He met our booking needs and even gave the kids beach toys. When we got to the room, feeling parched, he promptly brought us welcome fruits. The housekeeping staff left a sweet little note, and the full pitcher of water made us feel so cozy. After a short rest, we went down to the beach, and the dinner we had when we came back was also very good. All in all, we'll definitely come back to the Hyatt Regency Shandong Port next time we're in Qingdao!
