We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Dali. The biggest highlight was definitely the amazing view from our room – waking up to the mountains and city skyline was truly memorable. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options. The staff even asked if we needed anything else, which was a nice touch. They offered tea, water, and coffee (not the best, but still appreciated!). Every evening, we were surprised with a small snack delivery to our room – such a thoughtful detail. Another big plus was the laundry service, which was very convenient during our travels. There's also a nice rooftop terrace, perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing. The location is in the city, not the old town, so it’s relatively close to the train station, which made arrivals and departures easier – especially with the complimentary pickup and drop-off service (very much appreciated!). Just be aware that you’ll need to take a taxi to the old town, which takes around 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. Communication via WeChat in English was a bit tricky – even with the translator, it was sometimes hard to understand what the staff meant, but we managed. One thing to note: the walls are quite thin. On our last night, there was a child in the next room who screamed and cried for hours, and we couldn’t sleep. So if you’re a light sleeper, I definitely recommend bringing earplugs. Overall, a comfortable stay with beautiful views and great service – just be prepared for some minor inconveniences.

The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. they have one staff that can speak english, so it is easier for us. Erhai view lake from our bedroom. they have hot water shower too. our room is at 2nd and 3rd floor. no lift but the staff help to bring our luggage. we request for early check in and since the previous customer already checkout, they quickly clean the room. they provide breakfast and we can request them to make halal food. they will make the broth from water and vegetable oil. its near to santorini but quite far to ancient city, about 1 hour.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Dali, Yunnan, and had an overall pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impressive — everything was well-maintained and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The service stood out as one of the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with directions or local recommendations. They made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. But would like to comment on the photoshooting service that this hotel provided, although they stated it’s free, but each room ONLY FREE 5 PIECES NON EDIT photos no matter how many days you stay. So please don’t ask for this service if you don’t want your pocket to have a hole 🤣, would recommend you to have the traditional costume shoot in Lijiang or Shangrila which will cost in cheaper price where they can provide costume rental and full make up. This hotel they charge a very high price for the photoshooting if you want to buy the photos from them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang, if they like photoshooting. Or else you can stay in other better choices hotels.

Great hotel with warm stayed, very appreciated to stay there. Staffs very helpfulness and suggested many interesting things. The location near the dreamland convenient to traveling around. It’s my nice Dali holiday.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the best hotel in Shangri-La, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every part of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a touch of traditional ******* design. I had a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains from my balcony, which made every morning feel magical. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The location of the hotel is also ideal — close to the old town, but still peaceful and serene. It was easy to explore the area, and the hotel even offered guided tours and helpful tips for sightseeing. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. If you’re visiting Shangri-La and looking for a luxurious yet authentic experience, I highly recommend staying here. I can’t wait to return!

Facilities: The B&B provides a complete range of things, including shampoo and shower gel from Adolf, and even a body lotion dryer, which is a pleasant surprise! Hygiene: I pay a lot of attention to hygiene when I go out, especially the cleanliness of the bathroom. I have stayed in a B&B with poor hygiene before, so I am afraid of staying in such a B&B again. However, their B&B is cleaner than hotels. I have not seen any strange insects for three consecutive days. It is really nice to come back to the clean B&B to wash away the fatigue of the day after a day of play. Environment: The B&B is on the 19th floor of the apartment. You can see the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake as soon as you open the curtains in the morning. It is very quiet as soon as the balcony door is closed at night. The overall stay is very comfortable. They even installed sound insulation cotton in the gap of the room door, which is very considerate. Service: The service is really good, free airport pick-up and drop-off, 24-hour fruit and beverage supply, travel food guide, etc. If you have any problems, you can call the housekeeper directly, and almost all of them can be solved. This stay is the most comfortable and comfortable one in more than a dozen trips, even better than the service of the hotel. I feel very safe. If I have the opportunity to come to Dali next time, I will choose their home!

We planned our trip to Yunnan quite last minute and luckily managed to book this B&B — and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations! The hosts were so nice, helpful, and friendly, treating us more like family than guests. They even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off, which made everything so convenient. We also had dinner at their restaurant — the food was pretty good too! The highlight was definitely the view from our room: a stunning, scenic view of Napahai that I’ll never forget. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La. Hopefully, we’ll get the chance to come back in the future!

Absolutely loved my stay at The Lakeview! The view of the lake was simply gorgeous and truly the highlight of the experience. The room was cosy and well-equipped, with lots of thoughtful free gifts. The pillows and mattress were super comfortable, giving me a great night’s sleep. The butler was very helpful and attentive. I especially appreciated the in-room washer and dryer — such a convenience! Plus, they use Apothecary products for toiletries, which I absolutely loved. Highly recommended!

Very satisfied with the two-day stay! The B&B is located in the Erhai Park half-mountain villa complex, quiet in the bustling city, facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, and truly achieved the experience of lying down and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The proprietress was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to explain the changes in Dali City. I learned a lot. The other staff were also very nice. It is a B&B that makes people feel warm and comfortable! The breakfast is also very rich, especially the rice noodles are delicious! It is a place that I will choose unconditionally next time I come to Dali. I highly recommend it~
