## Pros:
The location is superb, directly across from the beach and a bustling fish market. The ocean view rooms offer unparalleled views. Public transportation is also very convenient, with bus routes 101 and 201 making it easy to reach any destination. While there are many dining options nearby, not many are particularly good. However, Haenyeo Bibimbap was the standout among the popular (or 'internet-famous') eateries.
## Cons:
The room size and facilities are average and feel a bit dated. For a hotel claiming four stars, it's nowhere near the standard of a domestic 'Quanji' (All Seasons) hotel. They are very strict about the number of guests allowed. We booked an ocean view room with a double and single bed for two adults and one child. Since this exceeded their two-person occupancy limit, we had to pay an extra 10,000 (presumably KRW) per night for the child. Other policies are quite standard for hotels overseas: check-in is strictly at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. Late check-out incurs hourly charges, and staying past 2 PM will result in being charged for an entire additional night. Furthermore, they don't provide any disposable amenities, such as slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or body lotion. And no umbrellas are available for guests to borrow.
Our second stay and I would love to return again
It's basically a honeymoon / baby hotel. Many young couples and families with children under 10. Very calm and peaceful.
Clean, nice, heated pool.
Breakfast could be better, we opted out, but it's still convenient.
The sauna is absolutely wonderful, I really healed my body and soul there.
As for the room type, the last year we stayed in a standard view room. You have to know that there is NO view. It was a ground floor room with all the consequences. We didn't use the balcony at all. This year we chose garden view but got upgraded to a poolside view.
The poolside view honestly made the stay. Choose poolside or at least garden view if you can. Try to stay away from standard view.
There's also this hill suite building, we'll probably try and book a room there next year but we couldn't quite figure out how to use the spa. It wasn't clear if the building has its own spa or some overpass or underpass, or you'd have to walk across the road to the main building.
The beach is 5 minutes away by car and around 30 on foot. There's surfing lessons and surf rentals there, you can rent a chair, an umbrella, a sunbed and a tube.
Also, if you're thinking Lotte because of the closeness to the beach, note that the pedestrian walk to the beach is awful from there. It's 5-10 minutes of stairs.

We booked a standard room with one large and one small bed, and it was quite spacious. The bus stop is conveniently located about a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is right by the beautiful sea. However, there was a persistent unpleasant odor in the hotel corridors throughout our two-night stay. I couldn't tell if it was a fishy smell from the sea or from discarded takeout food. Waiting for the elevators was also frequently time-consuming.
I recently had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Lotte Hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The highlight of our visit was definitely the heated pool and jacuzzi, which provided the perfect oasis for unwinding. Enjoying live music in the evening while relaxing in the warm pool and jacuzzi was an unforgettable experience.
The hotel’s location is another major plus. It's conveniently situated next to two charming shopping and restaurant areas. We loved having options like Starbucks and Olive Young just a short walk away. For food, we indulged in the famous local pork BBQ at a nearby restaurant, which was a real treat. Additionally, there are two convenient stores within a 5-10 minute walking distance, making it easy to grab essentials.
Overall, Lotte Hotel offered a perfect blend of relaxation and convenience

The location is convenient, and the room was clean and tidy, directly facing the sea. It features both a shower and a bathtub, but be cautious as the tub can be a bit slippery.
The staff's foreign language proficiency seemed generally poor. We even encountered front desk personnel who struggled with both English and Chinese. As a result, we couldn't confirm our breakfast reservation for the following day, and the child policy regarding charges was not clearly communicated. When we went to breakfast, the hostess at the restaurant entrance and the front desk manager were quite rude. Communication was still a struggle, and they simply stated that our booking wasn't registered, repeatedly emphasizing the price. This level of service was utterly unprofessional.
However, other service staff we encountered were polite and helpful, which made our interactions pleasant.

The room was very clean and in a good location. I didn't stay in a room with an ocean view this time, but the room opposite should be facing the ocean. The hotel is right on the beach and there is a good cafe next to it for breakfast. Many people are running in the morning. It only takes ten minutes to walk to Dongmen Market. It is also very close to Pork Street. There is a parking lot in the basement and a gym on the first floor. The swimming pool is not suitable for use until 3 pm.

The best part of this hotel is the amazing beach view — you can see the ocean right from the room, and it's beautiful any time of day. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The staff were very nice and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed, which made the stay more pleasant.
The hotel itself is a bit old and could use some updates, but it was still comfortable overall. If you're mainly looking for a great view and friendly service, this place is a good choice.
The hotel is in an excellent location, right next to a popular fried chicken restaurant – and surprisingly, there was no queue! It also features a convenience store where you can pick out and cook your own instant noodles, offering a fun taste of the local instant noodle eating experience.
This complex consists of three interconnected hotels, with an outlet mall directly downstairs. The mall offers a wide range of outdoor leisure brands and golf apparel, making it a great find for golf enthusiasts. Outside, there are two amusement parks: a water park and a Larva-themed theme park.
If you're planning a visit to the water park, be sure to bring your own towels and water shoes, otherwise you'll have to purchase them inside. They don't accept Alipay or WeChat, so make sure to bring a credit or debit card. Even life vests must be rented for a fee. It really feels like you have to pay for every little thing here; it's truly a place where every item comes with a price tag! Still, seeing the kids happy made it all worthwhile!

Nice little hotel, clean, comfortable and quiet with stable and fast wifi. While the parking lots are cramped, the Kia Ray we rented had no problems maneuvering. Paris Baguette is just 2 streets away. Walking distance to Jeongbang waterfalls, Saesom Island Bridge, and Maeil Olle Market. Highly recommended as a southern base for a self-driving free and easy trip.

On holiday with friends, we booked a family room with two queen-sized beds.
Facilities: The facilities were decent. Although it's a newly opened hotel, to be honest, it didn't quite live up to 4-star standards. The breakfast selection was only mediocre, comparable to what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel in China. However, the rooftop pool was excellent, and the kids absolutely loved it.
Service: The front desk staff were very helpful, and some could speak Chinese.
Location: The area is lively and bustling. There are convenience stores and pharmacies nearby, and the Shilla Duty-Free Shop is directly opposite, making shopping incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of dining options.

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable!!! I chose the ocean view, but I could see the sea in the distance and had a comfortable stay. One thing that was disappointing was that there was nothing on the breakfast menu other than bibimbap, which was disappointing (a bibimbap restaurant). If you're going to visit Geumneung Beach, I highly recommend it.
KKarina_kkDisadvantages: It takes around 10-20 mins walk uphill to a bus station, which is a bit tiring on hot days. There are some restaurants and cafes nearby, but many of them are closed, so the choice is very limited.
Advantages: Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel a lot. We stayed in the main building, and were lucky to be on the first floor with a direct entrance to the pool. There is one indoors pool and two outdoors as well as a hot tub. The breakfast choice is not very wide, but it perfectly matched our taste and we loved it. The staff is nice and helpful. We would like to return to this hotel next time.

CCindyTook Bus 600 from Jeju Airport to Saetgijeong Park, about 1.5hrs. After that, have to walk about 5-7 mins to the hotel. Easy to get cab via Uber from hotel. Washing machine is provided but need to bring or buy detergent from convenience store. No dryer, need to hang clothes on 5 hangers provided on the false ceiling to dry naturally. Rather quiet in December, need to walk nearer to market to find food. Room good size for family of 4, with separate cubicles for shower room and toilet.
GGuest UserThe hotel is stunning and the rooms were really nice. Special mention to the bathroom which was so clean and so luxurious. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. However, we were quite disappointed to face a price to access the sauna and nothing to eat or drink offered in the room for such a high-standard hotel. The swimming pool was nice but so stinky that we weren't comfortable going in it. The outdoor pool was not heated enough to swim in it during winter. The hotel had so many things included (24-hour convenience store, multiple restaurants) you could basically live there. Beware that there are a lot of families, therefore kids and you can hear them from early morning. If you go there it's good to have a car but the village next to them has many different restaurants and a large nice beach.
The big minus: we booked a room for 3 on Trip.com but when we arrived at the hotel they said it was only for two and we had to pay an extra per night quite high.
In short: I highly recommend the place.

Very Good
DDmytro_wandererFriendly service. Delicious breakfast featuring salmon, cream cheese, bagels, salads, decent coffee, and a selection of Korean dishes. The heated pool is a great bonus for colder weather. Free parking is available, and the location is convenient—close to Starbucks, waterfalls, shopping areas, and several museums. Jungmun Saekdal Beach is about a 25-minute walk away (5 minutes by car). If the room is on the first floor, there is a terrace with a table and benches.
GGuest UserStayed in a family room which seemed new with 4 single beds. It's huge and able to open two luggages with ample of walking space. We did not request housekeeping at all during our stay. But they were kind enough to provide clean hand towels and bottles of water every day placed outside of our door since we indicated DO NOT DISTURB. Nice comfy bed, perfect aircon temp during summer. Nice heated shower and they even have heated floors. CU and a bakerywas at lobby and Olive Young was opposite the hotel. Halal food at Asalam was good and 5 mins walking distance. Famous brand Shopping area and dongmun market was like 8 to 10mins away. MacDonald and 24/7 emart supermarket was 5mins away. Had to catch an early flight out at 5am. Best to book a maxi cab the day before at K Ride app. Cost about Sgd17.
LLeeWe had to change the room for three times due to facilities of misleading in a description of website and bug issue. However, they tried to provide their best cinfirtibg service to customers possible as much as they could. Once we changed tgectoon three times, they kept cleaning morning and late afternoon twice before we finally checked out the date.
Bblue ceoThe ocean view was so good, the price was so good, the outside view from the bathtub and the sunrise and sunset were all good
There are 7 Olle Trails around and the airport bus is quiet.
Hong Chef Chinese restaurant Ganjang is really firey, delicious, and the is not stimulating and delicious
The facilities are a bit aging and it is a great place if only bedding and mattresses are complemented.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious with two double beds. The bathroom was excellent; the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were all of good quality, and the water pressure was very comfortable. The toilet was clean, and there were plenty of towels. The only downside was that the pillowcases were a bit old-fashioned. There was a small kitchen with enough utensils for snacks, and a rice cooker was available if you wanted to cook. I stayed two nights. The parking lot was large, making it very convenient to get to nearby attractions.
