Beach Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Regarding the facilities, I need to pay by my own self for the car parking service. They are charging RM 24 per day and I am staying for 4 days 3 nights. Do you think how much I need to pay for the car parking which they never stated that visitors or customers need to paying by ourselves. I hope that in the future, please stated very clearly that we need to paying by ourselves without inform us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful family stay at Lone Pine! We absolutely loved the vibe here — peaceful, relaxing and beautifully surrounded by nature. It really suited us and was exactly the kind of getaway we enjoy. The breakfast was also one of our highlights — so good and we really enjoyed the variety! ❤️ The staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. And a funny little note… my teenage daughter loved Lone Pine so much that she has already started planning her wedding here! 😅😂 I guess that says a lot about how much she enjoyed the place! Definitely a memorable stay and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

We love everything about this resort. Kids & family friendly, service & hospitality was very nice, breakfast spread was nice and tasted good, the views here were breathtaking, my kids enjoyed the pool, they have splash pool with 2 different slides and the adults can enjoy the slides as well. Easy access to the beach with many watersport activities but need to pay for them, we spent on their dinner buffet which was so good. In the evening, they have BBQ and you can enjoy taking pictures during sunset. However, I hope they can improve their maintenance at the pool area (there was a shower by the poolside that needed to be repaired), the cleanliness of the room can definitely be improved, the hairdryer in our room was out of service, but other than that, everything else was definitely great. We may repeat our stay here in the future 👍🏻

Overall, everything was pretty good. While the rooms and hotel facilities are a bit dated, it is an established hotel, and the overall maintenance is quite good, reflecting the quality of a traditional hotel. The resort atmosphere is excellent, with a relaxed and comfortable environment, perfect for slowing down and getting some good rest. The service was generally quite attentive, with friendly staff and smooth communication throughout my stay. The dining was decent overall; the selection was reasonably rich, and both the taste and quality were good, satisfying my needs during the vacation. Although the hardware facilities aren't the newest, the overall experience was still quite comfortable, and the ambiance of an established resort hotel was definitely present.

The overall experience at Hard Rock Hotel Penang was great. My girlfriend had a hotel massage, and she found the techniques professional and comfortable. There was also a discount at the time, making it excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and tasted delicious. The hotel pool is spacious and perfect for kids, with direct access to the beach. The beach itself is large; although the sea water isn't the cleanest, it's great for taking photos. The room design is trendy and distinctive. The only minor downside is that parts of the hotel are currently undergoing renovation. There was no noise, but construction areas occasionally appeared in photos. Overall, it's still highly recommended.

The best feature of this hotel is its direct beachfront location. Our room had an absolutely perfect, completely unobstructed view of the ocean.. The pool faces the cafe, so we could easily watch the kids swim while enjoying breakfast. The room cleanliness needs improvement, and the mattress was way too hard for a comfortable sleep..

The facilities are indeed quite old. The bathroom door creaks loudly when opened or closed. I also requested a high floor, away from the elevator, in my Ctrip notes, but it had no effect. The shower and bathtub are combined, and the bathtub is so old that using it for a bath is out of the question. When paying at the front desk, I was overcharged for the tourism tax, even though it was included in the booking. Luckily, I noticed it during checkout. The front desk staff's professionalism is questionable. The pool closes at 7 PM, which is too early. It's barely 6 PM before the sun isn't too harsh, so if you're concerned about sunburn, you can't really enjoy it for long. Pros: Multiple pools with waterslides, making it more family-friendly than Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. The breakfast selection is also quite good. The king-size bed is spacious, so sleeping with a child isn't cramped. The Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk were very helpful. You can walk to Rasa Sayang next door for activities. Food options nearby are also convenient, with a night market. However, in comparison, I feel that the adjacent Parkroyal Hotel is better, and the price is similar. The beach area there is flatter and larger.

Excellent service, friendly staff and the room are clean and comfortable with the sea view. I could sense their enthusiasm and dedication in serving guests. I could really feel their enthusiasm and dedication to serving guests, get a piece of welcome biscuits. It was my birthday on the day of check-in; my husband had specifically informed the hotel staff before check in and they kindly decorated the room a little for the occasion and a slice of cake by room service . In next day morning we going for breakfast ,the staff wished me happy birthday . so grateful

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Overall, everything from the room quality to the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose G Hotel Gurney again on my next visit to Penang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The hotel has a great location with a private beach, and you can see a beautiful sea view right as you enter. The customer service staff were also very friendly. The only minor drawback was the small ants in the room.
