this hotel is good overall, but when we arrived, they told us that we didn't have a booking with them and they couldn't locate our booking and details. the room was also said to be taken, and they are waiting for a cancellation in order to get our room. There is a lot of confusion among staff. some visitors were told to leave their rooms once they have entered. we waiting 1 hr 30 min to get our room. so check in was at 4.30pm. parking was also very inconvenient, as we had to park at the basement, which was impossible to even get one if you came into the hotel late and a T&G card was also needed to get validated before leaving the hotel if we wanted a free spot. Room was very spacious and clean. the tea and coffee was hard like its never been changed.

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Pine Penang! Everything was great from start to finish. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the hotel was beautiful, and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the facilities, the ambience and especially the beautiful beachfront view. Everything was well taken care of and made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Lone Pine Penang. We’ll definitely come back again!

Trip.com A Wedding Gift Made More Special by the Reservation Team I arranged this stay as a wedding gift for a newlywed couple. PARKROYAL Penang Resort holds very special memories for me. I previously celebrated my wife’s birthday here with the newlywed couple, and my son still remembers his experiences at the kids’ pool and kids’ club. Because of those wonderful memories, the newlywed couple themselves chose this resort for their stay to celebrate the beginning of their marriage. I personally contacted the Reservation Team by email with a simple request for a few thoughtful touches to make their stay more memorable. My sincere thanks to Reservation Manager Ms Leow Lee Fong for arranging the thoughtful touches, including a stalk of flowers, pralines and a beautiful swan towel arrangement in the room. My appreciation also goes to Reservation Supervisor Ms Nurul Hazwani and Ms Maniarasiy for their assistance in coordinating the arrangements. A special thank you to the receptionist for making their arrival smooth and welcoming, and to Mr Faris from the Bell Team for his kindness and assistance. The flowers planned for their arrival could not be provided as arranged, but I completely understand that such things can happen when arrangements involve different teams. There was no issue from my side, and I truly appreciated the team’s effort to make their stay special in other ways. Thank you also to the Housekeeping Team for preparing the room and having it ready when the couple arrived at around 2.30 pm. The couple shared that the room was clean and comfortable, with an unobstructed sea view that made their stay even more enjoyable. From my own experiences with PARKROYAL, both in Penang and at other destinations, I have always found the service genuinely warm and welcoming. In my opinion, PARKROYAL Penang Resort is a wonderful choice for special occasions and stays, with a beautiful resort setting, lovely sea views, good swimming pools for both adults and children, enjoyable food and an excellent breakfast. Once again, my sincere appreciation to Ms Leow Lee Fong, Ms Nurul Hazwani, Ms Maniarasiy, Mr Faris and everyone working behind the scenes. Thank you for your kindness, attention and effort in helping make this wedding gift a more memorable experience for the newlywed couple.

My husband and I took a leisurely stroll along the beach at Laoshu Park, enjoying the romantic sunset. 🏖️ We then relaxed on beach chairs, listening to the soothing sound of the waves. 🥰 The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. This is a great place to relax, and we look forward to visiting again! 👍

Even though the place is a bit old. But i must say the cleanliness and also service are very efficient. Staff are also very helpful and friendly. I would say that I will definitely book again for my next trip to Penang.

We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel offers an excellent range of facilities and activities for both adults and children. There’s a mini theme park, kids’ playground, Adventure Zone, and the beach is just nearby, making it a great choice for a relaxing yet fun-filled family getaway. We were also impressed with the breakfast selection. There was a wide variety of delicious food, and everything we tried was enjoyable. The only thing we felt was missing was a sea-view room. Unfortunately, our room did not face the sea, which would have made our anniversary stay even more special. Overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. The combination of great facilities, delicious food, and a beautiful seaside location made our anniversary celebration truly special. We would definitely consider coming back again!

The hotel has a swimming pool. It was very humid, and even with the AC on, there was still water on the walls. For under 500, it's pretty good value for money. The area across the street is lively, with a Domino's Pizza just a short walk away and local fried rice shops. There's a bus stop downstairs, though buses are infrequent. A taxi to the city center costs around 80 RMB. It's not far from the Spice Garden, about a 4-minute taxi ride for 7 RMB.

Everything is so great, the room, kids club, pool, breakfast. Eventho I only took the deluxe king lower floor, it is still absolutely nice. Room is so spacious, it is just that the toilet is a bit small. All the facilities are top notch, really suitable for family travelling with kids. Breakfast has alot of choices. I will definitely come back and stay at higher floor and maybe for longer stay.

I had an excellent stay at G Hotel Gurney in the Executive Suite. The suite was spacious, modern, and beautifully maintained, with a comfortable bed and a great view. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Penang. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to Gurney Plaza and within walking distance of many popular eateries. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Executive Lounge was a great addition, offering a quiet and comfortable space to unwind with complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection of local and international dishes. Overall, everything from the room quality to the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely choose G Hotel Gurney again on my next visit to Penang and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Great location, conveniently situated between the city and Batu Ferringhi. The beach is beautiful, and breakfast facing the sea is especially enjoyable, with the refreshing breeze gently blowing towards you. 🌊🌴 The gym also faces the beach, making workouts more enjoyable. The room is quiet and spacious, with warm ambient lighting that creates a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Looking forward to stay again next time 🌈👍
