I arrived at the hotel in the morning to check in. The room I booked wasn't ready yet, but after asking, I found out there was a family room available immediately. I decisively opted for it, and the handsome guy at the front desk even gave me a discount, upgrading me directly to a sea-view family suite. The room and all its facilities were clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The room offered a 180-degree sea view, with Gulangyu Island, Yanwu Bridge, the Twin Towers, the ferry terminal, and even warships all visible at a glance. Both the night view and the daytime scenery were absolutely stunning. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to go anywhere.

Highly recommend this hotel! 1. The best thing is its location: inside the ancient city, the North Gate leads to the food street and is next to Taigu Bridge; the South Gate connects to Taiwan Road, making it super convenient to reach all the scenic spots and food areas in the ancient city within minutes! You can slowly experience the ancient city by day and night: mornings are peaceful but full of local life, where you can chat with residents and enjoy local breakfast in nearby streets to start a vibrant day; at noon, it's too hot, so head back for a nap and scroll through your phone; at 4 PM, head out to find food or a spot for coffee and just relax; evenings are all about the hustle and bustle! 2. Hotel environment: It has a courtyard design, with flowers and plants everywhere, making it a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action. It offers the warmth of a B&B with the management of a hotel! 3. Room: We chose the 3rd-floor LOFT, which gave the kids their own space. It would have been even more perfect if the view from the balcony was a bit better! The public area on the 2nd floor is also great, you could sit there all afternoon with a coffee or tea. 4. The ancient city offers a variety of snacks, so you can spend a whole day just walking, stopping, eating, and exploring 😁 Everyone can cross中山公园 (Zhongshan Park) to 青年路 (Qingnian Road) for more food! I recommend 锦群饭店 (Jinqun Restaurant); for a Cantonese foodie like me, it's right up my alley – large portions with that 'wok hei' flavor! It has that street-side stall vibe! We ate there two days in a row. Although the rating isn't high, I've included photos, so you can judge for yourselves.

The hotel is easy to find, it's just along the street with a big signage. It also a walkable distance going to West Street and Ancient City... You can also scan and ride an e-bike, if you have a Chinese number. I didn't have much interaction with the front desk, but the check-in process was quick. The room was clean and very spacious! Toilet was also nice and tidy. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a very comfortable hotel with a classic, established feel. I kept looking at the photos on the wall and thinking they looked familiar, and then I realized it's part of the Accor Group. The room was comfortable, and I especially loved the spacious vanity design in this room – perfect for all a girl's bottles and jars! (There was even a small TV in the bathroom, haha). The staff provided professional and thoughtful service, especially the manager at the front desk. He not only called me in advance to ask about my check-in preferences but also remembered my surname throughout my stay – such an unexpected and considerate touch! This staff member's service really added a lot to the hotel.

This is an older hotel with a nice environment. However, the service awareness is poor. The staff at the entrance were a bit unprofessional when we arrived by car, and we had to wait a long time at the front desk to check in. Lobby staff didn't offer to help with our numerous bags. Also, for two mornings, no staff seated us for breakfast, but I noticed they enthusiastically seated foreign guests – a clear double standard. The room decor is a bit dated. Another complaint is the laundry service, which is not very user-friendly. It costs 25 RMB to wash, with extra charges for detergent, disinfectant, and separate charges for drying. Overall, aside from the service, everything else was acceptable.

This hotel is located right by West Lake, offering unbeatable views of the lake and mountains. I really appreciate the classic feel of this older hotel. The breakfast selection is extensive, and as a tourist, I found the Fuzhou specialty snacks to be authentically delicious, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful, polite, and enthusiastic. Staff members always greeted us when passing by. They also took into careful consideration our needs when assigning a room, knowing we were traveling with a child and elderly parents. When I had a minor scrape from an electric scooter outside, the hotel even provided iodine and Yunnan Baiyao. What's more, the Yunnan Baiyao was brand new, and they even removed the plastic packaging for me – impeccable attention to detail! When I went to concierge to pick up our takeout, the staff even pointed out which items had just arrived, giving me a 'clue.' Haha. All in all, highly recommended! If I ever come to Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here.

Airport shuttle: Very close to the airport; free airport shuttle service is available if you book in advance. Free flower hairpin: The hotel provides two flower hairpin vouchers, one for West Street and one for Xunpu; you can choose one. New hotel: Modern Nanyang style, feels like home. Room: Very comfortable, nice bed, convenient for getting around. Will come again next time.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and large. I checked in late at night, and the front desk staff was very patient and provided excellent service. They even upgraded my room! The breakfast buffet was also abundant with a great variety of options. The hotel is conveniently located close to attractions like Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road, and getting a taxi was easy. The front desk service was great; check-in was fast, and they even upgraded me to a river view room, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of local specialties like taro paste, fish balls, seafood hotpot, peanut soup, vermicelli paste, and oyster cakes, all of which tasted delicious. It gets quite busy during breakfast, so if you go too late, you'll likely have to wait in line. The only minor inconvenience was that food deliveries can only be left at the hotel lobby on the first floor, while the front desk is on the 40th floor. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would choose this hotel again if I'm back in the area.
