Hotel near Jianghan Road/Hanzheng Road,Wuhan 10.5% of visitors choose this area

The location is excellent, though it's a bit of a walk from the subway station (fine if you're not dragging luggage, but with bags, it feels a bit far). Just a 200-meter walk to the right from the hotel entrance leads you to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, and the Feifei Shrimp Restaurant there is delicious and incredibly popular! Upstairs from the nearby Muji store, there's an amazing massage place I highly recommend. The hotel environment is fantastic. In the lobby, you can enjoy complimentary snacks, refreshing fruit tea, and coffee with unlimited ice. The room is well-equipped; the hairdryer works great, and the shaving kit is decent – not super sharp, but gets the job done. The heavy room door provides excellent soundproofing, so even on the tenth floor, you can't hear the bustling street below. And wow, the night market downstairs is something else! Even at 1 AM, it's still packed with people. It's unbelievable – do people in Wuhan ever sleep? A truly shocking experience for someone from Nanjing!

A very beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, close to the ancient city. The room was well equipped—even had a Dyson hair dryer, which was a great touch. Special shout-out to Demi, Cherry, and George for their outstanding service. They were friendly, helpful, and had great personalities that truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommended!

I booked this Holiday Inn Express along the river in advance on Ctrip, as I was taking my parents back to Yichang to visit family and pay respects at the cemetery. My flight landed a bit late, but the front desk service was excellent when I checked in. The hotel's overall environment is very clean, and the room amenities are complete. Although the room faced the street (with a river view), the soundproofing was good. There's also a laundry room and a gym on the second floor. The restaurant is next to the gym; while the breakfast selection isn't huge, they have hot dry noodles, which taste great. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Nestled amidst the sounds of birds and the fragrance of flowers, you can stroll by the lake, reminisce at Mao Zedong's former residence, or immerse yourself in the romantic essence of Chu culture at the provincial museum. The rooms have been renovated, and the family room is spacious, tidy, and a hit with the kids. The breakfast was delicious, I especially loved the Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) – simple yet all the flavors were outstanding. The hotel's golf cart can take you to the vicinity of the Provincial Museum's South Gate, which is very convenient. I'll definitely choose Donghu Hotel again next time I visit Wuhan. Highly recommend!

A high-quality hotel worth staying at again. Both the interior and exterior environments are excellent – clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay. The room's facilities and amenities are complete and perfect, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering a superb lake view. The experience far exceeds that of other hotels in the same price range! Plus, it's very convenient to the city center! I'll definitely be back!

The front desk lady sister service is super intimate (Zhai Li, Gaoling), check-in and check-out are very fast, and patiently answer questions. The cleaning aunt cleaned very meticulously, the room was clean and the experience was full! The service is particularly user-friendly, the demand response is super fast, the hygiene control is strict, and the living is assured and comfortable.

I had an amazing stay at Four Seasons International Hotel (Shiyan Beijing Middle Road University Town). The room was exceptionally clean and the mattress was incredibly comfortable — one of the best I’ve ever slept on. The overall cleanliness and room ambience truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were extremely sweet, helpful, and quick to respond whenever I needed anything. Their hospitality really stood out. The most surprising and heartwarming part of my stay was that the hotel provided me with free breakfast and dinner. On one of the days, I was very hungry and didn’t know where to go for dinner, but the staff kindly arranged a complimentary meal for me. I genuinely appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Overall, this hotel offers excellent service, great comfort, and sincere hospitality. I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area. I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future!

The location is great, right next to Wanda Plaza and diagonally opposite the Three Gorges Tourist Center, making it very convenient for tours to the Three Gorges. The room itself was pretty good, up to Crown Plaza standards, but some details were a bit perplexing. For example, the teacups were IKEA brand, and the TV remote control's back panel was missing. I stayed for two days and went swimming twice. The changing room was consistently very damp, with water all over the floor. Even the lockers were damp, damaged, moldy, and had an odor.

SShalinda WIf you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station. Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked). The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning. In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers.

GGuest UserThe 270-degree river view room offers an unbeatable view. There's no need to splurge on an executive floor; even mid-level floors provide a nice view of the greenery. Watching the light show from 7-10 PM while enjoying a bubble bath is pure bliss! It's super close to Huangpi South Road, and I highly recommend staying here when visiting Wuhan. The only minor issue is that the riverside road can be a bit congested during peak hours, but booking a taxi in advance easily solves that problem, especially given the hotel's excellent location. The heated pool and 24-hour gym are a lifesaver after indulging in some carbs!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to Metro Line 7. The room has a good view. You can see the lake. The lake is downstairs. You can go to the lake at night. The hotel is very close to Wansongyuan Snack Street. Wansongyuan Snack Street is very famous in Wuhan. There are many delicious foods. I checked in for crayfish, hot dry noodles, duck neck and lotus root soup... They are all very good. The hotel service is also very good. The child got greasy all over after eating crayfish. I asked the front desk for detergent, which was delivered to the room quickly. The hotel bar has free drinks, and the front desk also has free water and drinks. The hotel service staff are very friendly. There is no uninterruptible power supply at the bedside of the room I stayed in, so it is not convenient to charge the mobile phone at night.

GGuest UserThis stay was fantastic! The hotel is right at the entrance of Hanjie Street, and the Line 8 subway station is just outside. Line 4 is only a few hundred meters away, making it incredibly convenient to get around; nothing feels far. The room was clean and comfortable. Even though it's an older hotel, around fifteen years old, all the facilities work perfectly. The shower and hairdryer don't feel like they belong to a hotel of that age. The bedding was also very comfortable, and they even offered free pillow changes for different types. The lobby service was exceptional. We were delayed getting back due to traffic, and the lobby staff kindly extended our check-out by an hour. They also promptly arranged for SF Express to mail back an item I'd left behind, which I'm incredibly grateful for.

GGuest UserThis hotel is really great! I thought it was an old hotel, but when I got to my room, I realized it had just been renovated. The facilities are excellent. The service is also superb; the front desk staff were warm and patient, which was very comforting. The location is right in the center of Wuhan, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Thumbs up! 👍

CChul H AhnThe facility was clean and the food was good. Most of all, the services by people in the frond desk and cleaning crews were excellent. Especially, Zeng Cen was phenomenal. When a taxi driver charged a fare of 839 Chinese Yuan from Wuhan international airport to the hotel, he explained to the driver why the fare was ridiculously high and made him to reduce to 355 yuan. I really appreciate his willingness to speak up for a foreign customer.

GGuest UserI brought my family to Wuhan for the National Day holiday. We stayed in Wuchang on the first day, but because we needed to catch a train from Hankou Railway Station the next day, we opted for a hotel near Hankou. This hotel was conveniently located, not far from Hankou Railway Station, and near Metro Line 2. The hotel area was quiet, the hotel environment was nice, the rooms were large and clean, and the service was excellent. In the evening, we asked the receptionist for a recommendation for a nearby restaurant serving Hubei cuisine, which was within walking distance. We were very satisfied with the price and the food! I was very happy with this last-minute hotel choice, and I would definitely choose it again next time I'm in Wuhan!
