My recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to ”Julie” and ”Zhang Kai Yi” (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive. The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort. Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days. Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. The peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail make it a hidden gem worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, culturally immersive getaway!

First off, the front desk staff provided exceptionally professional service. They immediately offered Atour's complimentary tea service, showing genuine care and attention to detail. Check-in was very efficient, my requests were met, and I felt completely valued. The lobby atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the 'Zhuju' (bamboo lounge) was incredibly relaxing – definitely a highlight! Secondly, the hotel parking is super convenient! You can access the underground parking directly from the hotel entrance, so no worries about rain or wind. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with a great location. Parking is easy, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the IFS (International Finance Square). There are convenience stores and a hospital nearby. Right outside is Fengying Xili, a popular spot for photos, and a few more minutes takes you to Huangxing Pedestrian Street. One subway stop further brings you to the bustling Wuyi Square. Upon returning to the hotel, I was just in time for the late-night congee service. They had my favorite millet congee, which is very good for the stomach and especially friendly for children and pregnant women. I can't say enough about the soundproofing in the room. When you pull back the curtains and open the window, you can fully experience the vibrancy of Changsha's nightlife. But close the window, and it's like all the hustle and bustle disappears. The room also had a pleasant bamboo and wood scent. I visited during the off-season, so the price was great and offered excellent value for money. The hygiene was meticulously maintained; the room facilities looked brand new, perfectly clean and spotless. The soundproofing and hygiene service were top-notch. The 'Anxin' (peace of mind) program made me feel very secure, and the comfortable bedding significantly improved my sleep quality – I even wanted to buy the bedding to take home. They even called in advance to inquire about my needs, which showed great care. I had a very pleasant stay this time and will definitely return.
