Any requests we had were quickly addressed, and they handled everything with great care and competence, making sure all arrangements were perfectly planned. Dino truly prioritized our stay experience, focusing on every detail, and proactively helped coordinate various matters. The service level was outstanding, making our entire stay relaxed and enjoyable. We had a fantastic experience.

I booked a double room, but it reeked of smoke. They graciously upgraded me to a double suite for free, which was fantastic and made for a great experience. Housekeeping cleaned daily and it was very clean. The only minor issue was that the windows, possibly for safety on the higher floors, couldn't be opened without a cleaner's assistance. The breakfast was excellent, especially for a four-star hotel. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I requested a change of pillows because the one for my child was too soft, and they promptly brought a buckwheat pillow. The room was spacious and soundproofing was decent. The hotel is conveniently located near Taiyuan Street, with plenty of great food options and shopping. Despite the crowds during the May Day holiday, I highly recommend staying here.

Their attitude was cold, which falls short of the service standards expected from the Hilton brand. 2. **Serious and Disappointing Room Cleanliness Issues:** * **Uncleaned Wardrobe Stains:** Upon checking in at night, even with dim lighting, we could clearly see large, uncleaned dragon fruit stains in the wardrobe. The color residue was obvious, suggesting a superficial cleaning job. * **Trash Left on Windowsill:** There were potato chip crumbs from a previous guest left on the windowsill, along with noticeable dust accumulation. The attention to detail in cleaning was completely lacking.

I was already looking forward to writing a review for this hotel before my trip even ended! It truly exceeded all my expectations! The front desk upgraded me, and I ended up with a huge room. Both the bathtub and the window view were absolutely superb, and I loved the small balcony in the room—it was great to get some fresh air without leaving. The Penhaligon's toiletries and the intangible cultural heritage exhibition in the lobby were also nice bonuses.

Shangri-La is my top choice for a vacation, a world away from business hotels and the daily grind. It truly feels like a getaway. The location is excellent, with direct access to MixC Mall from B2, and the metro station isn't far either. The service is superb; the staff are warm and friendly, always ready to guide you to the elevators or restaurant. The Horizon Club inclusion of afternoon tea and a light dinner in the evening was a pleasant surprise, and the view of Youth Park from the 30th floor is quite nice. Breakfast is also very rich, offering a great selection of local specialties, Western, and Chinese dishes.
