This is a five star hotel in a three star body. Rooms are TINY, like scandanavian homes, but everything was clean and fresh, staff were outstanding, we could store out bags before and after our stay, missing personal articles available for free downstairs. Clear rooftop vie of the castle so you don't have to leave the hotel for beutiful shots of the castle. Near a huge gorgeous, covered pedetrian only walking are. Only sorry to have had only one night here.
The hotel is well located and the room was clean. However, I felt uncomfortable during check-in because I did not receive a welcome/check-in bag while other guests did. There was no explanation given, which made the experience feel unfair.
I hope the hotel can improve transparency about guest amenities.
5 star room, very well equipped and very new. felt very comfortable in the room, toilet and room is more spacious than the typical japanese hotel room. will definitely stay again when in kobe. highly recommended.
I made a reservation on the day because a triple room with a semi-double room and sofa bed was available!
The room was quite small, so I couldn't spread out my carrier (T_T)
But the amenities were plentiful and very nice!
The welcome drink of sweet sake was also delicious!
The only drawback is that all the nearby parking lots are expensive.
Great location, right between Himeji Castle and Himeji Station. It's just one block from Himeji Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. The hotel is surrounded by shopping and dining areas, including popular old coffee shops and oden restaurants. Himeji Castle is also only about a 6-7 minute walk away, and you can enjoy it just by looking at it from the outside. The hotel is very new, and the rooms are a decent size (by Japanese hotel standards).
I'm not sure if this happens in all the rooms, but they have a serious humidity problem. The wall was getting wet and it made the bed wet as well, and the room smelled damp. They don't offer cleaning unless you stay for 4 nights or more. The beds weren't very comfortable and, as I mentioned, since the wall was wet, the duvet got wet too. I'm 1.86m tall and the duvet didn't fully cover me.
On the positive side, the staff was friendly and there was a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel.
Excellent value for money and a fantastic experience!
The hotel is located in Chinatown, surrounded by tons of great food options, and transportation is quite convenient.
The indoor hot spring, sauna, and bath facilities are absolutely wonderful! If you love soaking in hot springs and enjoying a sauna, you definitely shouldn't miss this. Soaking multiple times a day is pure bliss!
The staff's service attitude is great, and the hygiene and environment are also very good. Although the room size isn't large, it's really clean and tidy. The clothes and slippers provided were perfect to change into before heading straight to the bath!
Some of Kobe's attractions are also within walking distance. I highly recommend this place to all my friends!
The room is clean, parking is very convenient, the toilet is large, and the facilities are very new. However, the wifi is almost unavailable. The movie viewing is good. The hotel is only suitable for self-driving people. There is little public transportation nearby.
Coming from Sannomiya Station, there's a scheduled shuttle bus every 20 minutes, which is super convenient. The hotel is located in Kobe Port, and the sea view is absolutely stunning, especially at night. All sea view rooms have balconies, making you feel like you're on a cruise vacation. The breakfast is incredibly rich, with panoramic views, and the juices are freshly squeezed, even the mixed fruit juice is great. You definitely have to cook the ramen yourself to get the best flavor!

2. City Loop, Port Loop buses for most tourist sights

Amazing
ZZhezidashuA very satisfying trip to Awaji Island was made even better by our hotel. Everything was arranged in the best way. We changed buses from Kyoto and confirmed the pick-up station through the Ctrip platform. When we arrived, it was still early, so we took the free shuttle bus to go shopping (with luggage back to the hotel). We used the coupons to buy lunch and ice cream at Hello Kitty. When checking in, the male waiters all kneel down to serve, and confirm the information of dinner and going out the next day. The room we stayed in is a single-family round house like a yurt with a viewing balcony and a wooden bath. The details of the room are all local characteristics (dressing box, free mini bar/dessert, washbasin are all petrified wood). The central roof is transparent and empty, and you can also observe the stars. We enjoyed the food here for 5 days, especially the dinner was not repeated and changed in various styles. What surprised me was that the waitress could perform saxophone and flute at dinner, and there was a restaurant like a stage on the island where you could also enjoy the waiter's musical performance. The 20,000 consumption vouchers given for 5 days are enough for you to go out for free at noon. We also bought Hello Kitty exclusive gifts for the children at the Big Apple with the vouchers. This trip to Awaji Island is more memorable than the trip to Kyoto, and the people are simple and honest. Everyone is working hard to promote tourism in Awaji Island, which is worthy of praise. I will bring my children here next time.
MMari(Marina)Excellent traditional-style pekan. I loved the service, cleanliness, convenient location, and spacious room. It was the best vacation in a long time! All the public onsen, shops, and cafes are nearby. The girl at dinner and breakfast was very attentive, explaining everything in detail, asking for clarification, and the service was beyond praise! We would be happy to return and would recommend it.
WWenwubaobeiAdaRight across from Don Quijote, the location is incredibly convenient. The hotel front desk offers free bottled water, facial masks, and skincare products daily. There's also complimentary ice cream from 8-10 PM. You can grab tea bags, combs, and other toiletries by the elevator. I'm very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.
KkusanokiAlmost a perfect stay. First off, having a 12 PM checkout in Japan is already a huge plus. We arrived around 8 PM the night before, and the front desk staff were still in great spirits. The room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning, with the night view being even more captivating than during the day.
The only slight downside was the breakfast; for 3800 JPY per person, the selection wasn't very extensive, though the taste was decent enough.
GGuest UserI'm fairly certain this hotel used to be the Daiwa Royal Hotel. I've stayed here many times before, even under its previous name, but this was my first visit since the rebranding. Considering the high price, the amenities provided were quite basic. On a positive note, the complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch.
The most significant disappointment was the 50-minute wait for breakfast. Had this not been an issue, my stay would have been far more satisfactory. During peak times, such as the busy summer holiday season, I strongly suggest they consider expanding the breakfast area or increasing its capacity. Despite the wait, the breakfast itself was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, this lengthy delay significantly impacted our sightseeing plans for the day.
AAkanechongdianzhongLet's talk about the facilities. Honestly, after Hilton renovated and unified several Japanese business hotel chains, the facilities and hygiene definitely feel like they've gone up a notch. Of course, the price has also gone up a notch.
The location is less than 1km from Sannomiya JR and Hanshin, so it's not really far. It's genuinely close to Ijinkan and several well-known bakeries. However, it's quite a bit further from the shopping district and the trendy cafe area by the sea. I practically walked my legs off to see the Van Gogh exhibit, so the convenience factor was a bit lacking. Still, I'd definitely want to come back to Kobe because even if I walk my legs off again, it's not that big of a city.
DDom9995 star room, very well equipped and very new. felt very comfortable in the room, toilet and room is more spacious than the typical japanese hotel room. will definitely stay again when in kobe. highly recommended.
GGuest UserThis was my second stay. It's directly connected to the station, and there are shopping malls, convenience stores, izakayas, cafes, etc. nearby, so the location is excellent. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, so I chose a little bit of everything and was full. I will definitely try the black curry when I come here!
The staff were very friendly and the amenities provided were of high quality, so there was no need to bring anything from home. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, so I enjoyed my stay.
AAnonymous UserAlthough the facilities are old, but the hygiene level is still neat, if four people live in a small room is super crowded, recommended to add more than 1100 HKD to change a larger room, but was full room can not be replaced, 1 parking 2 meals package includes dinner kaiseki cuisine, feeling is a super ordinary meal with the group, don't have any expectations, sashimi is not fresh, beef shabu shabu is delicious, but the amount is very small, if you ask for guests, it is recommended to eat outside before staying, casually satisfy your hunger to stay for dinner. Also, a free bowl of ramen will be given in the evening to satisfy your hunger.
__WeChat57961****Due to a canceled flight from Osaka to Sapporo, Trip.com rebooked us for the next day, flying from Kobe, and we stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel. It's an old, established 5-star hotel, over 30 years old. There are two daily shuttle buses to and from Osaka Kansai Airport, which is very convenient. It's right above Shin-Kobe Station, and a 20-minute walk to Sannomiya. The hotel breakfast was just okay, but the ambiance and service were excellent. Because our flight was canceled, I had to cancel a whiskey distillery tour scheduled for the next afternoon, and the hotel staff kindly helped me call the distillery to arrange that. The price was about a third of what it would cost domestically, making it fantastic value for money.
