Hotels With Breakfast in Bagmati, Nepal

Stayed here before my flight out of KTM. Free airport pickup and drop-off is a nice perk. The downside: I requested late checkout due to an evening flight, but it was refused and I had to pay half-day rate. That was frustrating. Positives: Housekeeping staff were helpful (quick with fresh towels and trash), restaurant food was tasty, and the front desk gave a warm farewell. Good for a transit stay if you don't need flexible checkout.

The owner provided excellent service, and the breakfast was hearty. It's just a short walk to the Great Stupa, and there are many temples nearby, making it a wonderful place for people of faith. The room was cleaned daily, and it was very pleasant to enjoy breakfast while sunbathing and sipping sweet tea.

I chose to stay here again after my trek because my first stay before the trek was so comfortable. The dinner was absolutely delicious, and the hotel environment is peaceful, unlike the noisy Thamel area. The staff's service made me feel genuinely warm and welcomed; they even proactively helped me communicate with the local driver when I was getting a taxi. I'd love to book this place again next time I'm in Nepal.

Excellent location with many eateries right at doorstep. There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel and serves excellent and delicious food. There is also a cafe at the lobby The room was superb I slept through the night especially after a long week of trekking The only downside is there is no smart TV and everything on the screen is Chinese. Best part is there is a washing machine at higher floor where guest can washed their dirty hiking laundry. Cleanliness of hotel:8/10

The hotel is conveniently located and the room had a nice traditional design. However, I encountered a strong smell in the room, which made my stay uncomfortable. I burned incense to improve the air, which unexpectedly led to a dispute with the hotel about compensation. The amount they requested was surprisingly high and difficult for me to understand. Eventually, the issue was resolved through the booking platform, but the experience was stressful and not something I expected on my trip. I hope the hotel can handle such situations with more flexibility and understanding in the future

After traveling around the world for over 12 years, I've become very selective of where I choose to stay. I enjoyed Aryatara Kathmandu Hotel so much that I extended my stay an additional week. The rooms are clean and comfortable, hot water showers, cold AC when needed, and free internet. Some stays even offer a complimentary free buffet breakfast. There's also a travel desk to help you with booking excursions. The location is ideal for exploring local cafés, pubs, local landmarks and restaurants, all within walking distance. The staff are very professional and personable, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good obliging stsff - classic an quaint sizeable room - I would say that some guests were noisy to begging with at 1 am in the hallways - should have gone out to a pub the ****** - staff couod have gotten security to deal with them more strongly as it happened twice in the same night. Aside from this the stsff were good

We had a lovely short stay in Aarya. Starting off with convenience: by being transported by the vehicle arranged by the hotel from the Intl Airport at no extra cost. This was a lovely touch by the hotel as sometimes travellers may want to avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and firms. Then being greeted by the wonderful staff at the reception with khada & a glass of refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and seamless. The hotel itself was remarkably decorated to a classic Nepali ‘Newari’ culture which was very impressive. Located in the heart of Thamel, but slightly away from the drawing music & hustle and bustle of the streets to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that we certainly needed after a long flight. Our room was spacious and kitted out with all the amenities and not forgetting, wonderfully decorated again. The facilities provided in the Hotel, from the Gym to the swimming pool was again impressive considering we were in the heart of Thamel. I particularly enjoyed the view of Sundhara Dharahara and SkyWalk tower whilst running on Treadmill and going for a swim and also the view of Swayambhu whilst doing weights in the Gym. The Sora restaurant at the top floor provided us a majestic view of the city whilst dining both during dinner and breakfast. The glass floor at the dining area was also something unique at the hotel which we have not seen in Nepal. Food was of the highest quality, and we were thoroughly satisfied with dinner and particularly the wide range of options available on the breakfast buffet, from nepali classics such as Sel Roti and Puri to modern cuisine such as Masala Omelette and Sausage & Bacon. Truly a stay to remember and we have already recommended it to our friends and family and will definitely come back to stay here again!! This hotel is quite good, very new, and has a swimming pool with an excellent environment. The room service is great, always available when called. However, the breakfast is very average, comparable to what you'd find in a basic domestic setting. But for just over 500 RMB, it's not expensive, so I recommend staying here. There aren't many food options nearby, and it's mostly a local residential area, but the overall environment is still very pleasant. There's also a gym, and the rooftop bar is particularly relaxing, being an open-air terrace.

Super nice people and great breakfasts!!! We really enjoyed staying there, good location - nice and quiet street but very close to the center . New clean rooms with super comfortable beds.
