The environment was decent, and breakfast offered a good variety. Overall, the service was okay. However, the main drawback, likely due to management issues, was the poor elevator experience. Not only were there cigarette butts, but the long bench inside was covered in thick dust, as were other parts of the elevator. Upon entering the restroom, a strong smell of urine hit me. Since the room's door closer was faulty, and it was late, I decided to just deal with it and go to sleep. Around 5 AM, I was woken up by the noisy street outside. The room phone was useless, so I eventually had to call the front desk to get engineering to come fix it, which took over ten minutes. At breakfast, I had to look through more than ten cups, all of which were chipped. It was truly a very disappointing experience.

Staying within the scenic area was incredibly comfortable, especially enjoying the stunning night views of Wangxian Valley and the serene morning beauty after the crowds had dispersed. The hotel facilities were very luxurious, with stylish room and landscape designs, and excellent attention to detail. Even the disposable comb was a beautiful wooden one – I was truly impressed by the small touches. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. We also received a complimentary photography session from Platinum Travel Photography with no forced consumption, and got some beautiful photos. Additionally, a butler and staff were always available to help with luggage upon check-in, and the hotel could arrange shuttle services for electric car charging. The butler provided thoughtful reminders throughout our stay. What's more, the room rate included two admission tickets, making it incredibly good value for money after deducting their cost. Overall, highly recommended!

What I particularly loved was the Huipai architectural style, with its classic white walls, dark tiled roofs, and charmingly arranged courtyards. Although the hotel is split into two buildings, 'Sanqing Tower' and 'Yunxi Tower,' with some facilities spread across them requiring a walk through a long corridor, the check-in process was smooth. We were fortunate that all rooms booked through Trip.com received a complimentary upgrade, including several with fantastic mountain views. Waking up to such scenery truly delighted the seniors. Breakfast: A Taste of Local Flavors Breakfast at the Green Ripple All-Day Dining restaurant offered a rich variety of dishes. What stood out most was the abundance of local Shangrao, Jiangxi specialties. We enjoyed sweet kudzu root juice, sticky fried dough sticks with glutinous rice cakes (youtiao maci), unique taro dumplings, and candied fruits like dried pumpkin and sweet potato. It was a refreshing and appealing spread for the seniors. The noodle station’s freshly cooked rice noodles and wontons were also excellent, perfect for an energy boost before hiking. The restaurant environment was comfortable, and refills were prompt. Facilities: A Mix of Regret and Delight in the Mountains The hotel boasts an indoor heated spring water pool, reportedly filled with clear mountain spring water. Unfortunately, our family itinerary was packed, and we didn't have time to take the children for a swim, which was the biggest regret of our trip. Other facilities like the gym and children's playground were also well-equipped. Dinner: Highly Recommended Sanqingxuan Chinese Restaurant I highly recommend dinner at Sanqingxuan Chinese Restaurant! All the local specialties we ordered were delicious, especially the local duck and special bean products. The flavors were authentic and received unanimous praise from the whole family. For rooms without executive lounge access, this is also where you can enjoy the executive set menu, offering great value and taste. Summary The Hilton Sanqingshan Resort is ideally located, just a few minutes' walk from the Waishuangxi cable car, making it perfect for families planning to explore Sanqingshan. Although the facilities show some age due to its earlier opening, the service is excellent. Coupled with the distinctive local cuisine and generous upgrade policy, our family trip was comfortable and hassle-free. If we return, we definitely plan to experience the pool!

I stayed at Tea Sage Luxury Wilderness Villa, Wunuzhou Resort ([婺女洲度假区茶圣·奢野别墅]) during the last week of March, which was an off-peak period. It turned out to be a great time to visit because the crowds were manageable and the park did not feel too overwhelming. I would recommend checking in on a Friday or Saturday, as there are usually fireworks on those nights. It is best to confirm the schedule on the resort website before booking. One of the best parts of staying here is that the hotel booking includes free entrance to the theme park, which offers very good value. There are many things to see and do inside the park, so it is worth planning enough time to explore. I stayed in the Detached Duplex with Slide Suite. The room was very spacious and clean, and the slide added a fun touch. The villa is also very close to 抱玉塔, where the main performances and fireworks take place. However, this room type does not have a view of the fireworks or shows. Some other room types do offer those views, so it is worth asking the hotel staff at check-in if they can assign you a room with a better view. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a typical Chinese hotel buffet selection. My suggestion is to spend the first day focusing on the night shows and performances. On the second day after check-out, you can leave your luggage with the hotel and continue enjoying the theme park, including the games and NPC interactions, before heading to your next destination.

Choosing to stay at Xixin Courtyard during my trip to Gexian Village was truly the biggest highlight. The individual rooms are spacious and airy, with balconies offering distant views and great privacy. Sitting in the courtyard with friends in the evening was incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness was also impeccable, absolutely no compromises there. The staff were warm and thoughtful, responding promptly to any issues. They also gave considerate advice for exploring the scenic area, constantly reminding us of important things to note. Staying within the resort made getting around very convenient; there was no need to rush back on a shuttle bus in the evening. After all the other tourists had left, we could leisurely stroll around the scenic area. Breakfast offered a rich variety of local specialties. It was also very fulfilling for families with children, as the hotel offered various activities like DIY sachet making, craft activities for kids, and traditional cultural events like tea ceremonies. All in all, this trip was definitely not a disappointment; the hotel's overall management was excellent and exceeded my expectations.

Parking is very convenient with plenty of spaces; there are no parking fee barriers, you just drive straight into the hotel's parking lot.
