The location is pretty good; it's not the closest to the airport, but still acceptable. You can wait for the hotel shuttle at the red sign near the baggage claim on the second floor of the airport. It runs every half hour. Important: You need to wave at the bus for it to stop! The shuttle drivers are very friendly and nice! Thumbs up! đ
The hotel facilities are just average, and the front desk service is also mediocre, but the housekeeping staff are quite friendly. The water pressure in the shower and at the sink is quite low, which might be due to California's water conservation efforts. The price is among the lower ones compared to other hotels in the area, but they charge extra if you check in before the official time. I recommend confirming this with the hotel in advance.
Location is so good. However, there are several homeless guys near hotel. Not violent to hit passengers but make the surrounding of hotel a bit messy. Most of staffs are polite and do good in duty of service. Very convenient to reach MRT station , supermarket and Ross for shopping .

Upon check in my room door key didn't work but when I returned to the front desk to report the problem was told to head right back to the same room and a maintenence person would meet me at my room door to fix the âbattery failure.â I was skeptical a maintenance person would arrive to my room so quickly but was assured they would be there without me needing to wait. As I suspected, noone was waiting for me at my room door nor did they arrive 5 minutes later so I returned to the front desk for assistance to hear surprise by the staff. This should not have happened the way it did as maintenance issues should not be planned at the expense of the customer...especially not a tired traveler arriving from airline/airport travel.

I was a bit worried because I'd read many reviews saying the airport shuttle was hard to catch, but luckily, I checked out just in time to get on one. The front desk told me the shuttle runs 24 hours a day, roughly every half an hour. There's a McDonald's right outside the hotel, which is super convenient if you don't feel like going far for food. The best part, though, was how quickly my deposit was refunded. I received a text message confirming the pre-authorization cancellation just a few minutes after checking out. Thumbs up!

Facilities: The room comes with a fridge and microwave, which is great. The only downside is the hairdryer only blows hot air â it gets really uncomfortable.
Breakfast: The selection isn't huge, but it's enough to get by.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Location: It's very close to the airport, but surprisingly not noisy at all.
Service: Nice!
The ground is lovely with garden and pool. The entrance hall is also very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is a bit old but still clean and comfortable. Thanks
The hotel's location is excellent, and it offers free parking. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, with a fantastic spread and delicious food. Overall, it's great value for money!
A Cool place to stay and good experience but nothing in my room worked. The outlets and usb did not work and could not plug my phone in. The tv was not clear and fuzzy. The hotel phone in the room did not work. The room did not have a blanket. The bathroom needed a good cleaning. The girl who checked us in was not not helpful and didnât know about the hotel. She also told us to come back for ice then said she was the only one there and could not get it and told us to walk to the bar. The guy at the bar didnât seem happy to leave the bar to get the ice. The food was good and the dinning staff was amazing.
Traveling all the way, you must be a holiday hotel, and you will not disappoint me. Whether it is parking or a clean room, the bath water will always sweep away the fatigue of the journey.

Oh my, what to say
Staff are reasonably nice enough. The hotel is a bit, might I say, grungy/dingy. From the wooden pole jammed in the window to keep it shut, the circular blotches of paint above the shower, the toast, coffee, cereal, to the stifling hot temperature without AC. AC is usually not a big deal in San Francisco except for when you need it which might be 20-40 times a year but some people insist on it. Donât go. I have no idea why people give it good reviews so sorry.

Halfway up the mountain, the hotel provides a shuttle bus (a Toyota Sienna) that runs every few minutes.

Great
As a vintage style hotel, it provides most of your needs. Wish thereâs a fridge for long stays. The front desk staff is very friendly. Even though a continental breakfast is served, it hass an upgraded food selections including hot dishes, i.e. scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. Iâll revisit here next in town.
It was a great experience. Fortunately, I made an appointment online in advance, otherwise there would be a lot of people on weekends. It was worth my long wait. It was really good.
Very warm welcome at the reception. Free parking. Got a renovated room. Good hygiene and very comfortable beds! Breakfast was good to start the day with.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne for a business trip, and I must say, it was a rather pleasant experience overall. First and foremost, the hotel's proximity to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major advantage. It's a mere 10-minute drive away, which made it incredibly convenient for someone like me who had to catch an early morning flight. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and welcoming. The lobby area is clean, modern, and well-designed, creating a favorable first impression. I stayed in a standard room, and it was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the extra pillows provided. The room had a decent view and was adequately spacious for a solo traveler. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with the necessary amenities. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site restaurant, The Bistro. The food was surprisingly good, and they offered a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. The staff at the restaurant were attentive and provided excellent service. However, I found the prices a bit on the higher side. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I was able to maintain my workout routine during my stay. The hotel also has a small outdoor pool, although I didn't have the chance to use it during my stay. The only downside to my experience was the noise level in the hallways and adjacent rooms. Thin walls seemed to allow sound to carry, which made it a bit difficult to sleep when there were noisy neighbors. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit slow at times, which could be frustrating if you're trying to get work done. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne is a solid choice for travelers looking for convenience near the airport. The friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent dining options make it a comfortable place to stay. However, improvements in soundproofing and Wi-Fi speed would enhance the overall experience.
My check-In and out was smooth and quick, the deposit was sent back to my card within 2hrs of checking out. My service dog and I stayed in room 120, the only issue with the room was noticing that the smoke alarm was missing(only realized 15 minutes before checking out). It was freezing cold outside, but my room was right across from the pool & hot tub, so I couldn't resist a 9pm trip into that hot & bubbly water for some relaxation before bed. The double rails make getting in & out so much easier for my disability, but they also have the chair assists for people who can't get in or out by themselves.
