4-Star Hotels in East Java, Indonesia

The location was perfect for us, as we really enjoy exploring a new city on foot. There are many eateries within walking distance of the hotel, including the famous Tunjungan No. 39 restaurant, as well as major shopping malls like Tunjungan Plaza. The service provided by the staff was also excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning crew and even the security guard. We will definitely come back again.

I requested a non-smoking room, but I could smell strong cigarette smoke every night, which disturbed my sleep. The air conditioner was also not cold, and I couldn’t adjust the temperature because the remote control was broken. No floor mat was provided, and the hotel itself feels quite old and in need of upgrades. My transportation keep registering every time I went out. Overall, the best thing about this hotel is its strategic location. It’s easy to access restaurants, malls, and several attractions within walking distance. The staffs also very friendly. To repeat again? I don’t think so. Better to find another best place to stay for you to have a memorable nights in Surabaya 🙌🏼..

The best hotel we stayed in Surabaya, conveniently located beside Tunjungan plaza with many restaurants and stores. Walking distance around 5 mins have many chic and hipster cafes worth visiting. Hotel room was clean and very spacious. All the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The best part was the buffet breakfast, with many arrays of foods and live stations. With all the delicous food and warm staff at the restaurant, we really enjoyed the whole breakfast. Highly recommemded!

Hotel staff not so warm and friendly. Some do not understand basic english. I was left standing for no reason. Only when i asked what am i waiting for, someone “jumped” in and served me. Room was ok. Comfy bed. I slept well. But towels are were old with frayed ends. Gross. Location is less than 10 mins to Tunjungan Plaza, a popular mall. Traffic is mad so crossing the road is challenging. No bottled water but rooms have pitchers to fill up water from Dispensers outside rooms. Good initiative.

Breakfast are best. The staff (Bu Nia, Pak Andik, the chef, and all others) at breakfast are most friendly and helpful. The service is a top notch.

The room was great, and the location was convenient. It was perfect for a family trip. The reception staff were kind, lovely, and polite. Highly recommended for Thai people, as there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Great for traveling with a group of friends too.

This is a good hotel. We stayed from December 13th to 14th, 2025. However, we had a problem with the bathroom drainage not working properly, causing water to overflow onto the room floor. When we complained, the response was poor, and we had to wait a long time to switch rooms. Even the hotel staff who promised to help move our belongings didn't assist wholeheartedly.

Room: Good, although my request for city view was declined. They said the room with city view was full. Too bad. I got the room with bad view 🥺 Service: Fast. Time for check-in fast as well as time for check-out. They serve very well. I asked for room service and it was fast. Nicely done Food: Good comforting food. But for the pastry was so-so. The last day we stayed there, they prepared our early breakfast for takeaway, very good pacakaging. The Indonesian food was ok and many variations to choose Amenities: Poor. The towel was not proper to use, too old & we don't get fully amenities, for that we need to call for it. Need to improve. Will I stay there again?... Well, may be. Someday. But Aria not in the top of my list 😅🙏

This is a new hotel, and the environment is quite good. The breakfast selection is also pretty diverse. There are many restaurants nearby, and it feels like it's located in a new urban area. I'd consider staying here again next time. Everything else was fine.

Friendly and helpful staff. Free early check-in (12h instead of 14h). Clean and big room with huge and confortable queen size bed. Silent AC. Big TV, mini fridge, kettle and hair-dryer available. Nice swimming pool + good sauna and gym. Very good breakfast with turkish coffee ! I highly recommend this hotel !
