Went there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there. There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations... but after checking in, there was nothing. When I asked at the info desk, they said it's something they do after you've stayed one night, on the evening of the next day or something. They just brushed me off, and there was nothing at all during our entire stay. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they gave me a box of cookies, but it felt like I was being treated as a difficult customer... Anyway, aside from these problems, it wasn't bad, and Hawaii itself was absolutely wonderful!

The view was great and the room was comfortable. It was also easily accessible, with plenty of things to do within walking distance, like going to see Cirque du Soleil and shopping, so I was able to fully enjoy Waikiki.

First of all, I want to praise Ctrip's customer service. On the day of check-in, the hotel said that the order had not been received. I contacted Ctrip's customer service and it was resolved within 30 minutes. It should have been early morning in China at that time. I really appreciate the speed of the customer service.
The hotel is relatively new, and the sea view room I booked has a nice view. Then the front desk is still very friendly, and any problems can be solved quickly. The flight arrived in the morning local time, but I was checked in immediately, and they took the initiative to help me accumulate Marriott points.
The biggest problem is housekeeping. On the day of check-in, I felt that the sheets were not new, and I could see a little shoe print and hair at the end of the bed. But I was too tired that day and didn't care. The next day when I was going to take a bath, I found that the wall of the bathtub was covered with mud, and it was obvious that it had not been wiped.
When the cleaning lady came in, I asked to change the sheets and wipe the bathtub. The old lady told me that I had to apply to the front desk to change the sheets. So when I went out, I told the front desk about the sheets and bathtub again, but the front desk's response was obviously that the cleaners should change the sheets automatically. . . Then when I came back at night, I found that the sheets had been changed, but the bathtub was still not cleaned!!! Maybe because I wiped it a little the night before, the cleaner thought it was clean. But when I returned to the room, I found that the bathtub was still full of my hair that I had lost that morning. I left a $5 tip. But to be honest, the room you gave me was not clean, so why should I get more tips?
Other minor issues were that the shower water pressure was not good. And maybe because of environmental protection, there was no mineral water in the room, and there were no other supplies except two cotton pads. But you can call the front desk to ask for bathrobes and slippers for free.
The hotel has been open for less than a year, and the maintenance feels average. At best, it is a business hotel. If you are on vacation, apart from the problem of traffic jams, it is recommended to stay in Waikiki.

First off, I have to commend the hotel's service; it was absolutely excellent. We arrived at 9:30 AM, and when we went to drop off our luggage, the staff had our room ready for us already, which was a really nice touch! However, the facilities genuinely don't measure up to a 3-star hotel back home. The entire resort is quite small and pales in comparison to the Hilton's grounds. For over 6,000 RMB a night, it was really just mediocre.

The service was terrible; they wouldn't even store our luggage. We booked two rooms for four nights, and after checking out, we wanted to leave three suitcases for three nights and pick them up later, but they refused to store them.

I was pulling my hair out trying to pick a hotel in Waikiki, but I finally settled on one that wasn't too old and had fewer negative reviews – Ka Laʻi, LXR Hotels & Resorts.
🏨 This hotel used to be the Trump International Hotel and was rebranded as Hilton's LXR last year. Since there's no LXR series in my home country, I did some research and found out that LXR is Hilton's luxury brand, launched in 2018. During my stay, I truly experienced the meticulousness of Japanese-style service. There were many Japanese staff at the front desk and concierge, which explains why so many Japanese influencers recommend it on Instagram.
🛏️ The biggest surprise in the room was the fully equipped kitchen. It wasn't just for show; you could actually cook in it – Zwilling knives, Kinto glassware and pottery, and even a rice cooker and toaster. All the pots, pans, and utensils were there, even chopsticks. What's most commendable is that every single piece of tableware was sparkling clean, like new. For us, who can't finish super-sized portions, being able to pack leftovers and reheat them was a huge convenience. The toiletries were Byredo, which is rare to find in tasteful hotels in the US. The wardrobe in the room also felt very high-quality.
📍 It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute walk to the shopping street. The room offered a partial ocean view, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, and activities, yet it was very quiet at night.
🎳 The only downside was that the public recreation facilities were undergoing renovation, and the pool was temporarily closed. If this is a concern for you, I recommend checking the progress beforehand or waiting until the renovations are complete.
✅ Overall, if you want a comfortable, home-like stay in Waikiki without sacrificing the quality of a luxury hotel, this LXR is definitely worth adding to your favorites.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciated the quality linens and the range of pillows available. The bathroom was modern with a powerful shower and plenty of toiletries. The only minor downside was the view – I had a room overlooking the parking lot, but that didn’t detract from the overall comfort of the stay.
The room is old, but well maintained. If you are a fan of White Lotus, you will feel it as soon as you arrive at the hotel.
Pros: The room is well maintained, the green facilities downstairs are good, and the overall living experience is good;
Cons: There is no private beach, the privacy is average, and the beach is shared with several hotels; the staff are not very enthusiastic;
You can enjoy the beautiful sea view from the room or the balcony. Every staff greeted us warmly with “Aloha”. I accidentally lost my sunglasses on my way back to my room. The next day, unexpectedly, I got my sunglasses back when I went to ask the front desk. It’s so lucky and delightful to stay here!

My stay didn't live up to expectations. When I went for breakfast in the morning, I was told it wasn't included, even though I'd specifically confirmed it was when booking. That immediately soured my mood. Thankfully, I contacted the platform's customer service, and they resolved it quickly and offered compensation. The hotel's incredible sea view made up for the shortcomings. I really hope the platform and the hotel, especially one with such a rich history, can avoid such communication errors in the future to ensure a truly excellent guest experience.

BBianjujiuyaoyaoThe Four Seasons Hotel really lives up to its reputation. The overall service is very good, and the room layout is also great. The swimming pool in particular is very impressive. However, I feel that the service for foreign tourists can be more detailed.

KkimsoulThe view of the hotel facing the sea is very beautiful, and the view of the Makai golf venue next door is also beautiful. The hotel windowsill can look at the sea, and many people surf every morning and evening. Valet parking and resort fees need to be paid to the hotel separately, but are good value for money. The device is indeed out of date, it is still the charger for iphone4, but you can go to the supermarket in Princeville Center to rent a DVD. Soak in the hotel and don't want to go anywhere.
GGuest UserI can recommend this hotel. There are a lot of extra fees that you have to pay for example 37$ per day for a resort fee and 35$ per day if you want to park your car. So for 4 nights we ended up paying almost 400 dollars at the check out only for fees and taxes. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great right by a beautiful beach where you can rent snorkeling gear (for free) and swim with fish and turtles! It also offers a lot of complementary activities and a good (although not amazing) breakfast buffet.
All in all we felt very relaxed there and would come back.
AAnonymous UserOn the first day of staying in the room, we were arranged a room far away. There were flies on the floor. Ctrip filed a complaint. But the hotel's recreational facilities are really good. The breakfast is OK, but the fruit is not very fresh.
TTIANJIThe hotel is located on the hill, below is the golf course and the beach. Compared to the four seasons that live below the beach, I think the sunset is more beautiful at the Wailea Hotel. In addition, it is very convenient to go to the beach to have a hotel Tesla. Because it is an adult hotel, it is strongly recommended that couples without children come here. The overall garden of the hotel is very beautiful and quiet. The overall service of the hotel is also very thoughtful. The front desk is warm and the hotel can be called golf. Car transfer, live here, no regrets
GGuest UserBeautiful location close to the beach. First room we were shown was extremely dark so we asked to change to a different one that didn't require to have the lights on during the day. Restaurant was decent, bed was comfortable. The one time we wanted to spend some time by the pool there weren't any chairs left, so would advise to go early to secure a spot.
