We had a wonderful family stay at PARKROYAL! It is a great hotel for families with young children. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Our child especially loved the swimming pool and kids’ facilities, which kept him entertained throughout our stay. The staff were warm, friendly, and always welcoming to children, making us feel right at home. Breakfast offered a good variety of delicious options, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. We truly enjoyed spending quality time together here. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun and comfortable getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel room was very spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering an expansive view of St. Paul's Hill and the palace in the distance. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, making it very quiet. It exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

An excellent choice for those who value peace and views. The food was magnificent, and our room on a high floor offered stunning city and river views. There's a huge pool and gym, the elevators are super fast, and check-in was instantaneous. The hotel is very quiet with few guests – pure relaxation! 🥰 The only downside: it's far from the city center, and the walk through Little India, with its lack of proper sidewalks and crossings, is quite an adventure. But for the atmosphere and service, it definitely earns a five-star rating! 👍

Hotels in Malacca generally seem a bit old and dated. The Courtyard by Marriott, however, is relatively new. There aren't many dining or entertainment options right around the hotel, so you'll need to venture out. It's about a 20-minute walk to Jonker Street (Red House area). The hotel facilities are modern and well-maintained, and the rooms are quite spacious. Luckily, there wasn't any strange smell, making for a comfortable and smart stay, and the TV even has screen mirroring. Since I was traveling with my middle school-aged daughter, I booked two rooms and requested connecting rooms, which the hotel arranged perfectly. The connecting door could be opened, making it feel like a suite, and it was very convenient as we each had our own space for showering and such. The hot water in the shower was excellent, but surprisingly, the bathtub in the king room was a bit impractical, with water splashing everywhere. The room has direct drinking water, which we used to boil water for tea. The front desk staff were quite friendly and allowed us a 1-hour late check-out. We didn't try the breakfast as we wanted to eat at Jonker Street. We also didn't get a chance to experience the pool, which we heard was great, due to time constraints. Behind the hotel seems to be an apartment building, and one evening, we passed by and saw about seven or eight dogs barking and chasing two guests who were casually strolling – quite a fright! A warning: avoid the dog territory behind the hotel.

Urusan pendaftaran sangat cepat, mesra dan mudah. Tidak seperti hotel kebiasaan, staf receptionist The Lisbon memang wajar dipuji kerana bila kita sampai di kaunter, mereka dah standby siap kad bilik dan borang yg perlu diisi dalam satu folder plastik, jadi hanya perlu mention nama penuh, mereka terus beri borang utk diisi dan bayar RM5 utk heritage charge. Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan. BILIK Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on. Juga lengkap dgn iron, coffee corner, hair dryer, safety box, bath robe dan tuala. Tidak lupa utk buat Muslim, sejadah ada disediakan di sini. Namun sayang sekali utk toilet, tiada botol kecil syampu utk dibawa balik sbg kenangan dan saya ada request complimentary deco for anniversary yg ringkas spt deco tuala tapi mungkin pihak mereka terlepas pandang email permintaan saya tapi The Lisbon menebus silap terlepas pandang dengan beri sarapan percuma utk 2 org SARAPAN Banyak pilihan sarapan yg tersedia meskipun dihidang dalam kuantiti yg kurang sedikit mungkin berdasarkan faktor bilangan tetamu. Namun, wajar dipuji kerana banyak pilihan dan sedap. Bagi mereka ada anak kecil, jangan terlepas pandang seksyen makanan utk anak² ada disediakan siap dengan kertas lukisan mewarna jika anak² bosan. PERSEKITARAN Cantik, ada kolam renang yg luas utk dewasa dan kanak². klasik sinonim dengan nama The Lisbon Melaka. Tapi mungkin kekangan atau kekurangan manpower, jadi ada few tempat agak kelihatan semak Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka

Our second stop in Malaysia was The Majestic Malacca, and I was absolutely captivated by its vintage charm. The decor in the lobby, courtyard, and even the rooms was incredibly photogenic. It's a historic building itself, and the overall design, furnishings, and soft decor perfectly matched my aesthetic – I was so pleased! The hotel service was excellent, embodying the attentive spirit of British butler service. The staff were also very warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was of exceptionally high quality. All in all, I absolutely loved this hotel. The only minor drawback was the soundproofing, which isn't ideal and might bother light sleepers. However, compared to the beauty of the property and the outstanding service, it's a minor detail I can easily overlook.

There are many rooms on each floor, but the decor is a bit outdated. There aren't many shops nearby, just an Indian-run convenience store across the street that closes quite early. The breakfast was decent, but considering we were abroad, the selection of Chinese food was limited, which is completely understandable.

The decor is nice, I like the simple and practical style. The environment is clean and tidy. The service is excellent, the front desk staff are very professional and articulate. When I called the front desk for supplies, the lady who answered carefully noted everything down, without any mistakes. The WiFi is better than Courtyard's. The breakfast is abundant; even with cultural differences, there were many items I enjoyed, so I'm content. However, the air conditioning is a bit noisy. If that could be improved, it would be perfect.

This is definitely a place to visit, surrounding have many more local food options.Cleanliness was great and the room have a very cozy feeling. Got the 3 Room apartment . Room was very spacious proper dinning area where friend can gather at dining and kitchen area at the same time have own personal room space in our own room for personal time.Highly recommend to try this hotel apartment.
