Is a studio room and is big enough and have balcony too. Nearby have many restaurants, pub and convenience stores. There is also many facilities like gym, swimming pool and sauna. Close at 10pm I going to use the sauna but I saw a huge cockroach so the cleanliness is a bit… And sometimes during midnight you will still heard mat rempit sound

I really loved staying here! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. 👍🏻 I forgot to request room decorations for our anniversary in advance, but fortunately, the staff were kind enough to accommodate my request. They surprised us with simple decorations and a complimentary cake, which made our special day even happier and more memorable. 🥰🎂 A special shout-out to Ms Ima, Ms Izza, Ms Aisha & Ms Betty for your great service. 👏🏼👏🏼 Your kindness truly means a lot to us. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved the view! We were lucky enough to enjoy views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding Klebang area. 🌊✨ Lastly, I really loved the breafast options & taste, it was variety and good quality of food 😍 I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay. ❤️

Excellent! Before my trip, I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a hotel converted from an old house, but after arriving, I found it to be very well-maintained, clean, and dry. The beds were comfortable, and even the butter at breakfast was handmade. There's a small but charming swimming pool, and the gym is also quite compact. The only slight inconvenience is the lack of laundry service; you have to go to a self-service laundromat nearby. However, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the overall experience. I'd still be willing to go back again.

Had a nice stay at Hatten Hotel overall. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had quite a good selection, so there were plenty of choices. When I first arrived, the TV remote wasn’t working, but I called the staff and they came over to fix it quite quickly, so that was appreciated. The only downside was the check-in process. It was really slow and I had to wait for more than 30 minutes before getting my room. Other than that, everything was good and I enjoyed my stay.

Dusit Princess is a newly renovated 5-star hotel. The lobby is grand and opulent, and the doormen are very friendly and professional. The Indian-descent lady at check-in was a bit perfunctory; a warmer welcome would have been nice. There are plenty of food options nearby, and a 7-Eleven, but no large shopping malls. It's not far from Jonker Street, but on a hot day, it's still a 10+ minute walk. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable, hot water was plentiful, and the water pressure was high (almost too high; don't turn the faucet on full blast, or water will splash). The air conditioning, in particular, was efficient, comfortable, and adjustable, making it one of the most comfortable air-conditioned rooms we've stayed in (though a basic fan noise is unavoidable). The hotel's Wi-Fi was excellent throughout, and the elevators were efficient. The gym was well-equipped (though a bit cramped), and the rooftop pool on the 9th floor offered good views and clean water, with both deep and children's sections. However, if you're looking to do some serious swimming, the pool might feel a bit small. Breakfast was quite extensive and international. We ate there for three consecutive days and found enough variety. While the taste wasn't particularly amazing, it was good enough, though some dishes were only lukewarm, which affected the texture. I personally enjoyed the fully deshelled spicy Lala and the green curry beef. The Laksa with 'rat's tail' noodles was also very good. Overall, the hotel is very comfortable and offers great value for money. Having listed the positives, here are some small suggestions for further improvement: 1) The edges of the connecting room doors (door frames) should be sealed with weatherstripping or silicone to improve sound insulation. On our first night, we could hear guests next door talking, but the window soundproofing was excellent and not an issue. 2) A blind or shade should be installed on the small window between the bathroom and bedroom to block light from the bathroom when needed, especially when family members sharing the room are sensitive to light and easily disturbed. 3) The breakfast was delicious, but some dishes were not hot enough. 4) Could the front desk provide local tourism information or brochures?

The front desk staff were very enthusiastic. The hotel is newly opened and is already one of the better options in the area. The hotel breakfast was average; while there were many options, the quality was just so-so. The Strait of Malacca is nice. You can also go to Jonker Street to try the 'monster instant noodles,' which are very unique!!!

The hotel is simple and clean. It looks newly refurbished with the paint still looking fresh. It is conveniently situated in the Portuguese Settlement area of Melaka and a short drive/grab away from Jonker street. Perfect for a short weekend trip. Side note: there is a home based Portuguese restaurant a few houses down that was really good.

Pros Breakfast had a lot of variety. Bed was very comfortable. Fast Wi-Fi. Spacious room. Amenities were good. Cons Breakfast had many choices, but the food was just average. The location is quite far from everything. Not walkable, so there's nothing much to do at night. The room isn't soundproof. No view at all. The walk from the lift to the room felt a bit eerie, especially at night. Overall: Comfortable stay with a spacious room and a good breakfast selection. Would recommend if you don't mind the quiet location

Overall, the stay was quite good, and both the service and basic comfort met expectations. However, it's evident that the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, making the whole place feel slightly old. One minor disappointment was that the coffee provided in the room was just instant coffee. Offering higher-quality coffee or a capsule machine would be more in line with DoubleTree's brand positioning. Additionally, the toiletries in the room were quite basic, lacking even essentials like cotton swabs, which was a bit surprising. Overall, there weren't any major issues, and the stay was comfortable enough. But if they could improve the room amenities and pay more attention to small details, the guest experience would be significantly better.
