✨ Family Staycation at PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka ✨ This time, we chose PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka for a short getaway while celebrating our little one's 9th birthday 🎂❤️ First impressions were great. The resort looks spacious, the atmosphere is calm, and most importantly, the kids were really happy because the swimming pool is big and fantastic! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️ They spent a lot of time at the pool 😂 For the kids, there's a Kid's Passport that offers a more exciting experience for them to explore the activities provided. Collect 6 stamps and they can redeem one cup of ice cream. The kids really enjoyed it and never got bored 😍 Breakfast was also one of the things we liked. There were many food choices, and the bakery section was appealing — just looking at it made us want to try everything 😆🥐🧁 The sweetest part was that the hotel also prepared a birthday surprise for the birthday girl 🎈🎂 She even received a birthday card and dessert. Simple but very meaningful and made her happy ❤️ Overall, our stay at PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka was very satisfying. It's perfect for a family staycation, especially if you're coming with kids. You don't even need to go out much, as there are enough activities within the resort itself to fill your time. The best part is when the kids are happy, the parents can relax too. ❤️ Thank you, PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka, for the wonderful experience. We had a pleasant stay overall. The breakfast was nice, although it would be great if the menu could be alternated rather than serving the same items on consecutive days. There wasn’t a huge variety, but it was still enjoyable, and I especially loved the egg tarts! The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, unfortunately, there was a noticeable urine smell in the toilet, which made us feel that it may not have been cleaned thoroughly. I’m not sure what the housekeeping protocol is, but it would be great if the toilet could be properly scrubbed and disinfected after each guest for better hygiene and freshness. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with our requests. We really appreciated their warm service. Thank you very much for making our stay a pleasant one. We would definitely consider staying again, and we hope the toilet-cleaning situation can be improved for future stay.

A group of longtime friends get-together trip staying in Hatten for 2 nights with connecting room, made it possible for a memorable weekend. It’s a huge hotel and wonderfully situated near many great attractions such as Jonker Street and great restaurants (most within walking distance. There’s bus port, 7-eleven and massage parlor to name a few. Overall, a pleasant experience with the service staff and facilities.

This time I chose the Dusit Thani Princess Hotel in Malacca, Malaysia. Since I took a long-distance bus from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, I arrived at the hotel after 3 PM. At the front desk, the staff upgraded me to a room on a higher floor and gave me a 50 MYR dining voucher. I immediately went to the Western restaurant on the first floor and filled my stomach with warm pasta and a vegetable salad, which was incredibly heartwarming. The room was quite spacious with a great view, overlooking the scenery of Malacca, with the Malacca River below. It's a five-minute drive to the Red Square (Dutch Square), the lively Jonker Street, and other main attractions like the A Famosa ruins. The breakfast offered a rich mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The staff member, Joey, even patiently helped me download a ride-hailing app, which was very thoughtful. This hotel left me with wonderful memories and is highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, about a 20-minute walk from major attractions like Jonker Street and the Red Square, or a short taxi ride for the minimum fare. The staff are very attentive and helpful, providing information about attractions and reminding guests to bring umbrellas. The rooms are clean, tidy, and offer great views. The pool and gym facilities are also well-maintained. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Malacca.

Hotel room is very clean and quiet. Surroundings within walking distance is a stretch of seafood restaurant along the seaside. Location is not that convenient for travellers without own transport. Car ride about 10-15 minutes to Jonker Walk and shopping mall .

Overall, I really liked this hotel with its strong Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm. From the exterior to the room decor, everything felt great. It's within walking distance to attractions and close to the TBS bus station, just a fifteen-minute drive away. However, there were a few things I wasn't happy about: 1. I didn't realize beforehand that breakfast here is à la carte and only starts at 7:00 AM. It also takes a while for the food to be prepared. Since we had already booked our bus back to Kuala Lumpur for 9:00 AM, there was no time to eat. It was a shame, and we couldn't get a refund either. The staff kindly packed two boxes of bread for us, but for a breakfast costing several hundred for four people, it wasn't worth it. If you want to enjoy breakfast properly, definitely plan your time carefully. 2. We were three adults and one child, but we were required to book two rooms. Even though the rooms were spacious, we couldn't add an extra bed. 3. The soundproofing in the rooms was very poor. We could clearly hear our neighbors showering and flushing the toilet at night, and it was quite noisy. 4. We were charged 600 RMB for the two rooms upon check-in. I paid with a credit card, but upon check-out, I was told the refund would take 15 business days to be credited back to my account. That's quite annoying.

There are many rooms on each floor, but the decor is a bit outdated. There aren't many shops nearby, just an Indian-run convenience store across the street that closes quite early. The breakfast was decent, but considering we were abroad, the selection of Chinese food was limited, which is completely understandable.

The room was very spacious, and there were several delicious restaurants right across the street downstairs, including a local Nyonya cuisine spot and a Korean BBQ place. Taxis were easy to hail, making it convenient to get anywhere. The outdoor swimming pool was incredibly comfortable; a swim in the evening was absolutely delightful.

The hotel had just opened, and the room was incredibly spacious. There was plenty of room everywhere, and the balcony offered a lovely sea view. It was very relaxing to sit there in the morning. Our room's balcony faced directly towards the ”Encore Melaka” landmark. Breakfast was decent and quite varied. Downstairs, there were many food options and a supermarket, and getting a taxi to anywhere was convenient.
