4-Star Hotels in Emilia-Romagna, Italy

I walked from Bologna airport late at night. I walked on pavements a large grass verge and a quiet road. Other reviews say the route is not safe but as long as you are not with children I would disagree. It took about 20 mins to walk it and coming back I was able to take the reasonably large mini bus which was then running in the morning. As far as the hotel is concerned it was clean, friendly enough and did the job for an overnight stopover. I would stay again

The single room is a bit small. I'd suggest getting a double room even if you're by yourself. My ground floor room wasn't very quiet, and the safe didn't work. But the service was awesome! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic with tons of options. The location is perfect, walking distance to downtown.

A hotel caters for conferences and business meetings. Very spacious common area with plenty of comfortable seating and lovely outdoors area in the middle of the hotel. The room and bathroom are spacious and modern. The downside is the toiletries, the shampoo, body wash and body lotion smelt off. Luckily I brought my own because the fragrance of their complimentary toiletries was unacceptable. The buffet breakfast was decent and plentiful with the hot foods and pastry section. The standouts were the fresh croissants, bacon and the coffee from the self-service machine was just like the bar. The fresh fruits were tasteless but I loved the dried nuts selection. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The gym also had a variety of professional equipment. I would definitely return and recommend to other travellers but bring your own toiletries.

The location is perfect, the hotel is nice. I arrived earlier and asked for a early check in but they said it was not possibile and I was waiting on the sofa. Nobody informed me when the room could be ready to get in.. and when I asked it was actually ready. A pity as someone could notice me about that and not letting me waiting there in the hall… the rest all ok!

The hotel is generally good, and the breakfast is also OK, but there is a problem. Although we can take a taxi, they paid for an illegal taxi for us, which was double the price. After we refused, the hotel owner still had a bad attitude and told us to walk to the exhibition hall by ourselves. It felt very unfriendly. In the end we took a taxi and it arrived in less than ten minutes. Everyone in Rimini must know how to take a taxi

I guess it all depends on expectations - I booked it because it had really good recent reviews at the time but I was disappointed with the experience. The rooms look like they have been relatively recently renovated but because everything in the rooms is cheap and basic and there are marks and stains on the walls they appear tired.  The style is basic functional so you should not expect much in terms of comfort or coziness. The hotel is poorly ventilated so there is smell in corridors and in the rooms. I changed a room because there was additional smell coming from the bathroom.
