4-Star Hotels in Kep Province, Cambodia

I recently visited Vakara Kep with a group of friends for a weekend trip, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel offered a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, which made us feel right at home. We really appreciated the attention to detail in the room's setup. The location of the hotel is just perfect—beautiful views and close to everything you’d want to explore in Kep. One of the best parts is its proximity to Kep National Park—I even went for a run there, and the trails were incredible, with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Whether we were enjoying a peaceful morning or winding down after a day of adventures, the view never got old. The breakfast at the hotel was another highlight. The variety and quality were outstanding, and it was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, Vakara Kep offered a memorable stay with excellent service, stunning views, and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend getaway, with the added bonus of being so close to the beauty of Kep National Park!

According to the website, Veranda is “the perfect destination for those seeking tranquility…” and so we booked a night to escape the noise of a ceremony next to our house. Upon arrival we had to change rooms as there was also a very loud ceremony near the hotel. The second twin room was quieter but seemed like a downgrade from our original double room. Later that night there was also very loud karaoke in the vicinity, which was disturbing in our room; the hotel said there was nothing they can do if the noise isn’t from their hotel. In the morning we woke up to loud construction work noise about 100m away. There was quite allot of burning in the area, so it is quite smokey too, when you sit in the restaraunt or out in your balcony. Overall, not my idea of tranquility. Seems hard to find any peace and quite location with fresh air in Cambodia these days; which is very sad. Such a shame as the hotel is very beautiful, staff were friendly and the breakfast was quite good. In the end it was a waste of a trip, time and money :(

The Hospitality: What truly sets this place apart is the team. The amazing staff went above and beyond at every turn, providing amazing service with genuine warmth. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the outdoor bathtub and shower and even enjoyed our last morning when it rained. This really added to a unique experience. If the room wasn’t enough to recommend this place, then I have to next talk about the incredible staff. Each person went above and beyond normal expectations to ensure that our stay was special and we were not lacking for anything. The breakfast that was included was fantastic and very filling as well. Walking down to the private beach and pier you can really enjoy the sunset and privacy. I believe that this resort is why we love Cambodia.

The location is good: close to the beach but not on the beach. The staff is not cool and extra-charged my friends (2 adults and one kid) for an extra-bed while they and had ordered a room for 3 people...that came with one bed only (exactly the same room as mine, just more expensive). On the ground floor, rooms have a small terrace directly next to the pool. But nobody cleans it. The swimming poo itselfl is really nice. The breakfast is really not good. I do not recommend it.

Booked a double bed in the sea view room. It was quite large, with a balcony facing the sea, and breakfast was okay. At night, the family was sitting on the balcony blowing the sea breeze and drinking red wine. It was romantic, casual and relaxing! The surrounding environment is good, the sea view is also very wide, it is a good trip!

We really have a good time staying here , everything is good , staff is helpful and friendly. Recommend for family trip 💛
