We stayed at Scandic Kiruna Hotel during our trip to Kiruna, Sweden. The hotel is clean and located in the city center, only about 2–3 km from the airport, which is very convenient. There are restaurants, supermarkets, and shops nearby, making it easy to find food and daily necessities. However, there are some drawbacks. The hotel does not provide in-room amenities, so guests need to bring their own toiletries. We stayed in a room for 4 people, which had two foldable bunk beds, but the room was very small for four guests and felt quite cramped. In addition, the staff were not very friendly, which affected the overall experience. Pros: Clean hotel Central location, close to airport Easy access to food and shops Cons: No amenities provided in the room Very small room for 4 people Staff could be more friendly Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a short stay, but expectations should be managed, especially for families.

Hotel in the center, very good breakfast, in the same building there is a supermarket that works until late. Clean. They were able to park right at the hotel (until 9am free), a good transit option before departure

Typical Swedish tree Spartan in terms of the small rooms and tiny bathrooms. Minimal furnishings, no minibar or safe. Impeccably clean, unlike other hotels. A generous breakfast selection, except for cold cuts (only 3 options). There's no garage/reserved parking, which is a major handicap, especially in winter when finding a free spot (which becomes available from 6:00 PM until 9:00 AM) might require walking hundreds of meters through snow and 16-minute winds. A paid option is offered for 90 kronor per day, but I don't know where this facility is located.

This hotel gets off at the next two stations of the railway station Abisko. The name of the railway station is shown in Figure 7. If you see this train conductor, say hello to me, nice. There is a hotel shuttle bus to pick up luggage at the train station and walk to the hotel by yourself. 150 kronor per person by car, not windy or rainy, not necessary. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable for a solo traveller. It has small kitchen, small dining table, a queen bed and a bunk beds, and private bathroom. The restaurant at camp Ripan provide a very nice and delicious food, healthy breakfast options. The staff were amazing especially to Sofiia who helped me with lunch and Reinis who served me during dinner. They are very kind, helpful and very pleasant. A trip to remember because of this place and especially the staff that I met. Very highly recommended place to stay for your Holiday in Kiruna.
