Especially thanks to the staff who said Nepal was home, it was a very happy trip."

Excellent hotel with great location, everything was perfect. Staff was nice. The room with balcony overlooking the town is beautiful and well-functioned. The rooftop onsen is comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. We love our stay very much.

The facilities are amazing and the onsen was super clean the food was great as it can be! I would totally go back. I just hope they have options for travelers with dogs. Where they have beautiful garden to walk around and if dog was allowed the stay would be more efficient and comfortable. Amazing place!

I booked a Japanese-style room. The room was spacious and very clean, and came with complimentary snacks, sake, and orange juice. Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Dinner was a 10-course Kaiseki meal, and every dish was delicious. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of choices, with the seafood donburi being particularly outstanding. There were four different baths to choose from. Overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money.

For our family trip to Matsuyama, we booked Togokan with the main purpose of experiencing a traditional ryokan hotel. It was great that check-in was available at 2 PM, and the service was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Also, having both dinner and breakfast with the kaiseki meal was truly an outstanding experience! However, a few minor drawbacks were: having to carry luggage up a slight hill, the lack of private onsen baths available for reservation outside of the public bath, and the impression that the hot spring water might not be entirely from a natural source. Despite that, I doubt there's another place in this area that offers such excellent service at this price point, haha. It's incredibly clean and the service is top-notch!

The first time I traveled to Japan, I saw the welcome of the legendary female general boss, very traditional Japanese spirit. , the details of the catering are very important, especially the utensils are really an important part of the dinner, there is a delicate taste enjoyment and a visual feast, a very careful hotel, the refrigerator is full of drinks, and three bottles of beer...full of sincerity, almost stuffed the refrigerator! This is a very pleasant journey! Full score

In conclusion, for the same price, I personally think a regular hotel would be a better fit. I don't think I'll be returning. [Room] The room was cleaner than I expected. However, since it's an old house, the windows didn't close all the way, which was disappointing, letting in plenty of insects. [Facilities] The bathroom was modern and nice, but the shower was a bit awkwardly positioned. The temperature control was too low, and the chair was too low. [Staff] The service varied from staff to staff, which was a real shame. For example, at breakfast, some days they provided explanations and some didn't, and the level of service varied depending on the staff. Also, the breakfast area was hectic and bustling, making it difficult to enjoy a meal.

It was an inn full of hospitality. It was very quiet and I had a relaxing time. Both breakfast and dinner were served in your room and you could relax. However, I was a little disappointed that the slope from Dogo Onsen Station to the hotel was steep.

Beautiful location full of nature with polite customer service, dishes full of Ehime's charm, all were very nice. I used it on my wedding anniversary, but it made me a very good memory. It was a hotel that could be refreshed in nature.

This hotel is located on the top of a mountain and was designed by Tadao Ando. There are seven rooms in total, one per floor, including the new building and the main building. Because we arrived late today, the hotel left four staff members to serve us. They had been emailing us to inquire about the arrival time and whether we had food allergies. They were very caring and meticulous. We booked a semi-open-air hot spring forest room. The room is large, but the decoration style is very Andou style. The room has a private bath but it is not open-air, two bathrooms, and a mini bar with various drinks. The Ehime orange juice is very delicious. The whole hotel is Andou Tadao's gallery. The main features are spaciousness, natural light, concrete, and basement. It is a mini version of Chichu Gallery in Naoshima.
