Excellent location, with Eiffel Tower view at the lobby. However, decor of the hotel looks a little old and dated and only the premium rooms comes with Eiffel Tower view from the room. Not complaining since you get a good view from the lobby

Very pleasantly surprised by how great the stay was! The hotel is in a fantastic location. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. Has everything we needed for the stay. Kind to the environment and provides all the guests need for a great stay. Would come back here again and maybe upgrade to a bigger room next time! The classic room we stayed in was clean and not too small at all but we'd go for a better view next time.

Location: if you need a hotel not far from Gare du NOrd but do not want to be located there, gare de l'est is the second best option (only 10 minutes walk). For business travel, it does the tricks perfectly. Also, what a view from this room (see pictures of the Eiffel Tower and Sacré Coeur). Cleanliness: while the hotel rooms are getting a bit old and you can see it, cleanliness was perfect. Service: good, nothing much to share. Smiling greeting, quick check out. Facilities: bit minimalistic, but the desk to work on was perfect and provided really a lot of space. Again, for business travel it is a game changer.

The hotel is in a great location, a quiet yet bustling place. The breakfast is very rich with elegant tableware, the rooms are clean, and the waiters are very polite. The hotel is close to the Line 12 subway station, which is only a 3-minute walk away. There is also a large shopping mall Le Bon Marche nearby, which has many famous Paris brands. Ladies can go on a shopping spree!

Nice service/response from the nice lady at front desk by swapping a room to higher floor facing inner court for me, as the weather was quiet warm abnormally that I could open the windows. It was due to April that the air conditioning was not available until May. Good equipped kitchen/pantry for us can did our dinner occasionally.

Hotel’s hardware is good and new, while the service is mediocre where their air conditioning system is switching itself off every 15mins which made me unable to sleep at all and forced to swap room at 5am. While their hotline is not working at all during the first night where i had to go to the lobby myself at 5 am. The rest of the stay is fine while they apologized for the air con mishap. The street outside the hotel is under construction currently and is very dark at night, might made people feel a bit dodgy at night while i can see people smoking **** at the park nearby per photo. This is kind of expected given the convenient location of the hotel.

Grand entrance with arc design, looks like a modern mansion. Clichy “Marie de clichy” metro area abit far from central shopping area. Room was normal sized, well furnished came with balcony overlooking nothing. Highlight being the bath facility with both shower head and rain shower. Kiehls products were complimentary and felt refreshing.

I booked the room with the view and the view i got! Loved it and enjoyed it a lot. Room has everything you need. As for the location i think its good if you are on business trip, metro just 5min walking distance, however if you are traveling for the first time i think not the best location, because most of the touristy loc are not in this area. However great stay! Thanks

Very convenient location, it is literally at the center of Paris. Subway station is just 1min walking distance and there are multiple lines including the one to the airport. We sent a parcel to the hotel few days before check-in and the hotel helped us receive it properly. Nice room, and modern renovation. Free coffee in the lobby. If you have too many baggages, you can borrow a trolley from them.

We 3 people stayed in a junior suite. The footage is spacious but not well laid out. We can’t find enough spots to hang our towels and coats. The shower/ bath wall is made of some red acrylic materials that you can vaguely see through. If someone is taking a shower while the other people sleeping on bed, the light is annoyingly penetrating through that semi translucent wall and affects sleep. The location is very central, convenient to all the sightseeing spots and transportation. That’s the main reason that we chose the hotel. Hotel breakfast is very good.

ZZILIIn Depth Experience Report of LYF Gambetta Hotel Paris - A Genuine Guest's Pleasant Surprise Introduction: As a frequent traveler who has stayed in numerous hotels across France, choosing the LYF brand this time upon a friend’s recommendation was a completely new experience. As a first time guest of this brand and someone unfamiliar with this particular area of Paris, I documented my stay with an entirely objective perspective, and it turned out to exceed expectations. Facilities: The hotel is brand new, and while there was a faint hint of paint smell in the room (likely due to recent renovations), the overall facilities are thoughtfully designed with a youthful, practical, and distinctive style. My base room was around 20 square meters—already significantly larger than other Parisian accommodations in the same price range. According to the website, the hotel also offers family friendly options with kitchens, loft style rooms, and more. The complimentary bedtime tea was excellent a well known French brand also sold at Lafayette ,perfect for unwinding at night. The coffee provided wasn’t quite to my taste, but it was still decent. The basement level (B1) features a laundry room, entertainment area, gym, co-working space, and meeting rooms, all uniquely designed. Notably, there’s a shared kitchen fully equipped for guests to cook their own meals ,a fantastic amenity! Service: It’s clear that the hotel’s opening team is still in training, and while some staff members appeared slightly inexperienced, their dedication was evident. Every request I made was promptly addressed. One employee, Helana, stood out-when she noticed I seemed unsure in the laundry room one evening, she proactively approached me, asked if everything was alright, and offered a solution. The next day, I observed her energetically assisting other colleagues. When I complimented her, she humbly replied that she genuinely enjoys helping others and even shared useful insights about the hotel’s facilities. Another front desk lady (whose name I regrettably forgot) was consistently warm and smiling, resolving my queries with kindness and even granting me a late checkout. Outstanding service like this truly minimizes travel hassles and adds delightful surprises to the journey. Impressed by LYF’s service, I decided to extend my stay by five more nights for a deeper experience. Safety & Transportation: Some had warned that this district might not be the safest, but my stay proved otherwise. The area is well connected, just a five-minute walk to the metro and feels like a residential neighborhood with an artistic vibe. One night, I returned to the hotel at 3 AM via night bus and walked back without issue, as the streets were still lively with people chatting or on dates. The area is both tranquil and culturally vibrant. Dining: Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants are within easy walking distance, making dining options convenient. Booking Recommendation: Ideal for travelers seeking an ”authentic local living” experience, young families, or digital nomads. The base room offers great value, while longer stays may warrant upgrading to a kitchen equipped unit. Final Thoughts: Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Considering its location, price, safety, facilities, and service, it stands out as the best I’ve experienced in Paris. While not the most luxurious, it’s undoubtedly a unique space that lets you feel the pulse of the city. My stay was so enjoyable that I’ve decided to book another five nights after returning from Nice. I’ll share an update after my second stay!

GGuest UserFirstly, let's start with the pros, the driver of the hotel shuttle was very friendly, he even brought along the hotel name sign and walked in front of the door where all the people were waiting for their respective hotels' shuttles, so we saw him and gave him our names. The shuttle costs 7 euros per person per trip, so a round trip was 14 euros to and from the airport/hotel. The next morning, it was the same man again. The ride was not close, and there was no public transit/bus so I believed that either the shuttle or taxi were the two options. Next, I called the reception the night prior and asked for a wake up call for 8h30, the man put me on hold and confirmed my room number and time, 8h30, and I asked if I will receive a call and my phone will ring the next morning, he said yes and I hung up and went to bed. Fortunately, I woke up at 6h30 the next morning because I set my cell phone alarm, but there was no call at 8h30 and I waited and waited and waited, nothing, and I made sure my phone was put down nicely the night before, but there was no phone call. I checked out around 9h30 and I told the lady at the reception that I spoke with a man the night before, but no alarm and I waited and waited, she did not apologize nor said excuse me for any error, which is shocking for any hotel staff but this is a four-star-hotel so even MORE shocking. I checked out and asked if the 250 euros deposit will be returned to my credit card and she told me it will be returned to my card automatically. I thanked her and wished her a great day but still no apologies for the missed wake up call. It gets worse, the night before, I had one frozen bag of vegetables I wanted to cook as it was my last night in France, so that was my dinner, I saw a something like a timer ⏲️ and I turned it but still I could not turn on the electric plate, so I walked over a few rooms down and knocked on the door. I thought it was strange that someone was cleaning or doing housekeeping at 22h00 or 22h30 that late at night. It was actually a male technician and I understood why right away, because I couldn't even turn on the power of that electric plate. It took him many tries to finally turn it on, and then increase the power... If it took him like 2-3 mins and he is the hotel technician, how long would it take the hotel guests??? Absolutely ridiculous and good thing I saw an open door further down the hallway! Or else getting someone at 22h00 would take awhile. Finally, I slept with my jacket on ALL night, there was clearly a strong wind coming from outside the balcony... I saw there was a sign telling us that if we open the windows or the door to the balcony, it will disable the heating/air conditioning system. I dared not open anything... But I now understood why the technician was fixing things because honestly things were not in good working order. The next morning, the handheld showerhead needed to be handheld REALLY, the stand is broken so I had to ”lean” it against the wall so that I didn't have to hold on to it while using shampoo or washing my hair... For a four-star-hotel it is totally not worth it, I stayed in a two-star-hotel with WAAAAY BETTER experience. Final verdict, save your money and go elsewhere. The room is big and the water is hot but other than that and the friendly driver of the shuttle, I cannot say anything else that aren't negative. Totally disappointed and definitely will never stay there again.

FFalik BatubaraA Hidden Gem Near Antony Train Station I recently stayed at a charming hotel conveniently located near Antony train station, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The location is incredibly convenient for travelers, with easy access to the train station just a short walk away, making commuting to central Paris and other destinations a breeze. One of the standout features of this hotel is its quiet and uncrowded neighborhood. Unlike the bustling areas closer to the city center, this neighborhood offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Yet, it doesn't lack in convenience, as there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a sit-down dinner, you'll find various dining options to suit different tastes. Cleanliness at the hotel was top-notch. The rooms were spotless, with a well-maintained feel throughout the entire property. The housekeeping staff ensured that the amenities were replenished regularly, and there were enough essentials provided to make the stay comfortable, from toiletries to basic appliances. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that combines convenience, cleanliness, and tranquility with easy access to both transportation and local amenities, this is an excellent choice.

GGuest UserDecent hotel in a good location. Big rooms for Europe, bathroom a bit on the smaller side. However we had a few issues: 1) we organised a romantic bday surprise at 60€, and during check in, the receptionist asked “when would you like the surprise champagne” in front of the person whose bday it was, ruining the surprise. Also of note, many other hotels of this level provide something complimentary. 60€ is very steep. 2) emailed in advance for an early check in, and the hotel attendant said no upon arrival without even checking. 3) they had turned off the air conditioning and the room was boiling hot. The only option was to open the window and be eaten alive by mosquitos. Terrible.

GGuest UserChoosing a place to stay in Paris is never easy. The whole city is charming and romantic, but where you stay can truly shape the tone of your trip. That’s why I was so happy with my decision to stay at the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile during this visit—it turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in the city. First of all, the location is excellent. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, and it’s well-connected by both metro and RER. Whether you’re planning to explore the city or heading out for day trips, getting around from here is a breeze. It’s also right next to the Palais des Congrès, so I imagine it’s a great option for business travelers as well. But the real magic of this hotel lies in its views. When I checked in, I politely asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor—and I was lucky enough to be given a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. As soon as I walked in and saw that iconic silhouette framed perfectly by the floor-to-ceiling window, I was speechless. During the day, it was stunning. At night, it became something truly special, with twinkling lights illuminating the tower and casting a warm glow over the city. I found myself sitting quietly by the window, just taking it all in. It felt like Paris was unfolding just for me. The room itself was sleek, modern, and very comfortable. It wasn’t overly spacious, but it was perfectly arranged with thoughtful details—an incredibly cozy bed, a great coffee machine, high-quality toiletries, and excellent lighting. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Breakfast was served on the 34th floor, and it was an experience in itself. The panoramic views over Paris were breathtaking. Sitting there with a warm croissant and coffee while watching the city wake up beneath me was one of the most peaceful moments of the trip. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive without being overbearing. What stood out most about this hotel, though, was the quiet warmth of the service. The staff had that classic French elegance—discreet but welcoming, helpful without being intrusive. Even the housekeeping staff were thoughtful, and when I checked out, the front desk staff asked how my stay had been with such genuine interest that I found myself smiling for the rest of the day. To me, the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile wasn’t just a hotel. It felt like a window into the heart of Paris—a place to quietly take in the beauty of the city, to rest, to breathe. It offered a sense of stillness and perspective, even in a city as lively and vibrant as Paris. If I return to Paris—and I certainly hope I will—I already know I’ll be coming back here. No other reason needed, really, other than that one unforgettable evening, sipping wine by the window, watching the Eiffel Tower shimmer in the dark. That moment alone was worth the entire trip.

AAlb33It was a lovely staying after Christmas and wonderful location for tourists. The room is relatively big and very comfortable, you’d have a tiny modern kitchen with cutlery, water boiler and hob as well as a fridge. Not to mention the blackout curtains did the job! We had a very good sleep for 2 nights :) The receptionist was very kind and helping! He recommended a restaurant called ‘Au Relais’ for lunch nearby and it turned out absolutely amazing!! At last, we really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby so cheap and convenient!

MMaribelThe location was excellent, very close to Eiffel tower. They also keep your luggage if you come early before your check in and after you check out which is really good for traveller. Room was a bit small, but can accomodate couple like us, and for those who does not stay much in the room. There are opportunities to improve on cleanliness, like stain on the wall near the bedside table, we had tea and coffee but no proper cup and kettle to boil water, was calling customer service at night to request for it but no answer so had to leave it for the next day. We had no shampoo in the room, no handwashing soap, and had to use bathroom tissue because we only had 4 pcs tissue left in the box. Hair dryer was not working properly. I always look and stay as much as possible, in Mercure hotel everytime we travel as I had good experience before, this time is a bit different but I know they can improve it for future.

EEricDecent hotel - fine for the price but not really a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Location was alright. It’s relatively easy to get there (10 min walk from the metro, at the end of the 4 Porte de Clignancourt line) but it’s not really by anything in itself and environment was not nice. For my room, size was adequate but was pretty basic and cleanliness left a little to be desired (there was a random long hair on my towel?). Staff is nice and helpful though.
