hwee yin LeeAlways love staying at Dormy inn for their free onsen, free yakult, free ice-cream and especially free ramen during the night time from 2130 to 2300.
The room is clean, quiet and spacious with a seating area. Location is just nice, about 600m walk from JR station, 500m walk to the Kehi -Jingu Shrine, 3.3 km walk to the Nihonkai Sakana fish market. Most of the shops in the fish market closed at around 4.30 pm.
A supermarket is just located at the opposite side, can get some offered items after 5 pm. Get lots of offered food from the supermarket for the breakfast. So I don't try their breakfast. Will definitely stay in this hotel if I return to Tsuruga again.

Guest UserI had a very pleasant stay at Courtyard by Marriott Fukui. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the station, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring the area.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. I appreciated the modern design and the attention to detail in maintaining the room. The combination of the convenient location, generous room size, and high standards of cleanliness made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fukui and would stay here again.

circleyIt's a beautiful Japanese hotel, with Japanese-style accommodation and dining. The service is also very good, and the food is very thoughtful. But the room is too hot at night, the air conditioner is not adjusted well, the quilt is too thick, and I sweated when I slept in April, so I didn't sleep well.

Good location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space.
The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.

The room was exactly the Japanese-style room I had imagined, very comfortable. The balcony had a washbasin, which was convenient for larger groups. The onsen (hot spring) was fantastic. Complimentary drinks were served in the evenings, and you could comfortably relax in the lobby. There were three discount stores opposite the hotel, perfect for those who wanted to do some shopping.

The hotel is super close to the station, about a 3-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel facilities and environment are great, and the staff are very friendly. The large public bath is also very comfortable. Plus, there's free ramen at 9:30 PM!

Anonymous UserThis was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at!
It's a beautiful hotel with a 'Japanese' theme, and every corner was meticulously maintained. When checking in, a staff member pleasantly offered to wipe the wheels of my suitcase because the floors were tatami, which was a nice touch.
There were so many free amenities, it was amazing! There was a massage chair, manga (which you could take to your room), Yakult and ice cream after your bath, and even late-night soba noodles! You could also get ice in paper cups, so I could chill drinks from the vending machine next door.
What I particularly loved was the cold pillow! Pillowcases and ice pillows were available outside the changing room, and I brought one to my room to use while sleeping. I had such a good night's sleep! You could also watch subscription services in the room (this was paid).
The breakfast was delicious too... Honestly, everything was perfect!
The bath area was also lovely, with wind chimes softly jingling, and the sauna smelled great. The shower was a ReFa, and the hairdryer was a Kinujo... (Incidentally, I was so impressed that I bought a ReFa shower head for my own home after I got back!)
Everything I've ever wished for in a hotel was here! It was so good that I'm already planning my next trip specifically to stay at another 'Nono' series Dormy Inn hotel! The hotel is now the destination itself!
Thank you so much! It made for a wonderful trip!

Guest UserThe staff's service was very good.
I had high expectations for the buffet, but perhaps my expectations were too high. Rather than being very satisfied, I felt it was just what I expected.
I stayed in a room with a bath, but there were no bath towels in the room, only face towels to use in the bathroom. I think the main purpose of the room is to bathe in the large public bath, but I would have liked a bath towel for the room.

all is well. But Shojin cooking is not good. When I first booked, they said there were two options: Shojin ryori and ordinary Japanese cuisine. But a few days before check-in, after the payment had been deducted, they contacted me and said that only Shojin ryori was available.
I have had a shukubo experience in Koyasan before, and both meals were Shojin cuisine. There is nothing wrong with Shojin cuisine itself, but the Shojin cuisine served here is neither to my taste nor filling. And you know Japanese inns, they serve 16 small plates in six courses, and give you a detailed description of what is so exquisite about each dish, creating an atmosphere that you cannot help but be satisfied. If you think the food is not delicious, it is your own taste problem.
There is not even a convenience store nearby, and the vending machines in the hotel only sell drinks. It is no exaggeration to say that if I hadn't brought two loaves of bread with me, I wouldn't have been able to survive.
If you must try it, listen to my advice and prepare some dry food.
