I spent one night at the Hollywood ****** at Greektown. I did not visit the ******. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line.
I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs.
I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the ******, or go out.
MSU school theme hotel, overall I scored 7 points. Not a must-stay hotel in life, if in East Lansing, this one and Kellogg and Marriott can.
Advantages:
1, the hotel is very new;
2. The location is very convenient, the important thing is safety! Go to the school to walk enough, 300 meters downstairs there are two supermarkets Target and CvS; Many restaurants nearby (although there are Charlie Kang fried noodles and Buffalo wings delicious), take a taxi to Eastwood (cinema, bravo Italian, Sephora, fish market) and Okemos (Thai Princess Thai, Meijer) just in the middle;
3. MSU theme decoration color is very special; a row of Michigan different postcodes behind the refrigerator
Disadvantages: 1. Full closed window (although there is no smell)
2, large bottle of washing
3. The water flow in the sink in the room I live in is small and the water temperature is unstable; but the shower is very good.
4. Breakfast is written to include it. It is actually a la carte and charged.
Please search for Brody Square 13.78 USD to enjoy the world's largest cafeteria buffet. Isn't it fragrant to walk back to school for about 10 minutes?
Also remember that slippers and toothbrush toothpaste can be asked for at the front desk

Two double beds, the room is very spacious. Good facilities. Breakfast has a light meal at the Sheraton Club, free of charge, and a à la carte set menu and buffet, relatively rich. The location is quite convenient. Overall it is very comfortable.
We stayed here Friday and Saturday night. We booked a romantic stay cation about 30 mins from our house. The room was smaller than we expected but the beds were pretty comfortable. The worst part about the room was the thermostat. I felt that it was not easy to control. We had the heat on and it would still turn on the ac. Our room did not hold in heat very well. The best part about the hotel room was the bathroom. The shower was huge with a seat. There were two mirrors with lights and Bluetooth you could pair to your phone to play music. We did not try it but we both thought that it was a cool feature. Unlike most hotels, the fitness center had cables and fancy workout bikes. The sauna was very relaxing. We did not go in the pool or hot tub because I did have to work for a couple hours on Saturday and we got in late on Friday. We relaxed in our hotel room after a gym and sauna session. After 4 PM on Friday and Saturday, it is hard to find parking that is close to the door. We had to park in the back far away from the entrance. My boyfriend was very annoyed by this and rated the hotel a two star because of it lol. I hope to try the pool and hot tub next time we go to this hotel. I also would like to try a pool view room maybe those are nicer. We will have to try the restaurant/bar next time too. Maybe if we come a weekday the parking situation will be better. Overall it was a pretty nice stay. I hope they update their thermostats to something nicer sooner than later.

GGuest UserThe Daxton is a great hotel it’s pretty consistent every time I stay. I rate cleanliness a 3 because my experience has been hit and miss. The first and second time I stayed the cleanliness was on point. The third time I stayed they put me in a room that just wasn’t very clean they apologized, moved me immediately and upgraded my room that was nice. The last time I stayed whoever cleaned my bathroom had shedding hair or something and there were long strands of hair that were not my own in the shower and on my towel. That wasn’t cool but it happens. The amenities are great they have a complimentary snack area in each floor with coffee, tea, beverages and little pastries and snacks which is an excellent extra and overall the service is great. The area around the hotel is very walkable there is great shopping and food options there’s even a nice park nearby. The Daxton has become my go to hotel when visiting MI and I come up quite a bit.
GGuest UserWent to event at Soundboard with friends - great venue so a group of four friends decided to make an overnight of it, including check-in after using the wonderful spa which was an excellent experience. The hotel was adequate, but the surprise was the lack of amenities, such as no actual water glasses for the room, no wine glasses available for the room, and no ability to really order food to the room other than going to the food court options, which are not impressive. We did, however, have an excellent dinner at ritzy restaurant, Revel. Pricey but great experience for a splurge. Room on 12th floor was blazing hot even with temp set at 65 degrees (with governor so could not adjust lower), and room was more like 75 degrees. Altogether, a fun experience at adequate hotel with pricey but wonderful spa, fantastic dinner at Revel restaurant and convenient access to Soundboard event venue.
